The hotel was in a perfect location for the NEC, rooms were very clean & comfortable. One major downside was that over night guests had to pay for their car parking, however day time guests could get free parking if they spent £15 in the hotel restaurant. This seems unfair considering the cost of the overnight stay in the first place & doesnt take into […] consideration any money spent in the restaurant. Food ordered from the bar took 50 mins to arrive & was warm at best when it did. We were never informed of any delay in the kitchen when ordering or given an apology for the delay & neither were we asked was our meal ok. Any interaction with hotel staff was pleasant but over all we were disappointed with our stay given what would be expected of a 4 star hotel. 더 보기

Overnight stay with 2 friends as went to see el divo at lg arena. Very convenient and great as all 3 of us ladies could stay in the same room. There were only 2 big towels and 2 tea cups but quick response when we asked for extra 1. Breakfast was excellent and I have already booked for the next concert we are going to.

Overpriced restaurant with very average food

we stayed at the nec crowne plaza hotel for christmas shopping and to visit the clothes show. Excellent facilities and well located for both. Would definately recommend. Food in restaurant delicious and well priced

No complaints about the staff or hotel however just a few warnings . The food was well below what we expected and the price we paid for it. The bar is extortionate, two doubles equates to £23.00 so avoid the food and the bar and you won't go far wrong

Clean Comfortable well equipt room with great bath and shower room. Excellent location for NEC and LG Arena Birmingham International Airport, Rail Coach and Motorway Links. Nice view of Lake good quite location.

Despite having booked and paid for a twin room this was not available on our arrival. Once a Supervisor had been sought, a twin room did materialize! Our room was very comfortable and warm however there were bottles of water on the side table which had already been opened and were half empty. There were small shards of glass on the bathroom floor - […] this floor had obviously not been swept. Despite this, we had a comfortable stay and I would use this Hotel again. The Crown Plaza is ideally located to the Birmingham NEC and suited the purpose that we required which was to relax comfortably after a full day at the show and to rejuvenate in preparation for the second day. 더 보기

Good quality 4* hotel- excellently located for the LG Arena and NEC. we had drinks and food in the lounge before a gig and it was very good, certainly a better choice than eating in the arena, even if more expensive! Bit ordinary considering the price service in the restraunt for dinner was very pool. This did iomprove at breakfast.

Just what was required, quick service in reception, bar and restaurant, a very comfortable bed, shower that got to work on you and only a 3 minute walk to the LG arena. My only gripe is they charge guests an extra £10.00 to park and it can be very limited if there is an exhibition on at the NEC

Very convenient for walking to NEC, and Birmingham Int. rail station and airport, using the covered walkway. Room very clean and comfortable. Minor niggle - having ordered a room for 3 adults, had to ask for bed linen, towels etc for 3rd person; would have been nice to have had the option of a twin room + sofa bed, -apparently not available. If you are going to LG Arena then this is only 800 yards away, the closest hotel, you like me can look smug as everyone is trying to beat the rush to get away to the car parks, just stroll back to a good hotel and bar.

This hotel's star rating is not the same as most of the shows staged on the nearby stages. The reception staff are not working to any decent standard nor speak acceptable English, and that includes the ones who are English. If you need a quick bed for the night near the shows then it's OK, but you should get that from a two or three star lodge style […] hotel. The saving grace was the good an inexpensive buffet breakfast. And people can be friendly in that NEC area, the personnel at the Arena were extremely friendly and helpful and they were only 100 yards away, so it can be done. 더 보기

Enjoyed my short stay here, baance of service just right, polite and attentive but not overly fussy. Loved the sleepy pillow spray!

This hotel was an excellent stop-over on our journey to Scotland. The room was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint was the absence of a hair dryer.

Booked this as an overnight before a flight from Birmingham International. Comfortable hotel but it's quite a distance to travel on foot from the airport - shuttle to train station, through NEC, around a lake and then up the rear steps to the back entrance! If anyone knows a better way then tell me! No other complaints really.

The room was exceptionally comfortable with a nice bed, sofa and desk. A bigger treat was the ice machine down the hall. The restaurant and bar had a nice selection although we tried to call room service and they never answered. The front desk staff was very helpful and the shuttle to the airport was timely and convenient.
