Exceptionally friendly staff and very helpful. Age is showing a bit on the structure, but experience was very pleasant overall.

Love, Love Love, the Microtels from Omaha, to Reno, to Colorado springs we always look for a Microtel They are the Basics, but are super clean and always well maintained. just perfect and price is great!

Room was nicely arranged and very comfortable. Will definitely return.

These rooms are nice, clean and a nice change up from the usual hotel room. There is a seat in front of the window, and giant mirrors on the wall behind the beds. The tvs could use an update, but other than that, the rooms are very nice. It is nice to break up the general hotel feel by adding a few features you normally don't see.

Very cheap, clean rooms, indoor pool and spa, accepts pets, and decent free breakfast.....highly recommended for any Colo Springs/Academy visit.

Had trouble with room key - attendant seemed distracted, she was very young. Clean room, quiet - plenty of pillows! Waffles smelled delish in the morning.

This was a very nice motel. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only complaint is that we paid for there was one queen bed and a sleeper sofa. The mattress on the sofa was thin and the bed was too short for my 6'1" son. Therefore, I feel the price for 2 or 3 guests should be the same.

We have often stayed at this particular hotel in Colorado Springs but will probably avoid it in the future. The breakfasts are the worst I have ever seen at any hotel, and the staff was very slow to restock. Routine pool maintenance was conducted during prime swimming hours on the weekend. It was especially gross since moldy chunks of ceiling plaster […] dropped into the pool. The air conditioner in our room broke in the middle of the night. Very comfortable, reasonable cost, near restaurants, and accessible to I 25 and US Air Force Academy as well as Garden of the Gods and other popular sights. Only negative was proximity to railroad train switching and blowing whistle.

The Hotel was fair overall. We were given a corner room which put the air conditioner on one end and the bedroom on another. Needless to say it was hot outside and inside. The staff apparently had turned off the refrigerator in the room, but not left it open, so when we did open it to put our child's food in there.......let's just say we didn't use […] it. 더 보기

While the hotel was pretty and the room was very nice and exceeded my expectations, the staff made me feel like they were going out of their way to acknowledge me. Apparently I was an inconvenience to them. About half an hour after check in the I was kicked off the internet and was not able to get back on. As I got the hotel room as a way to get away […] and do homework, this negated my reason to stay. When contacting the front desk, I was advised that many guests were probably accessing the internet and to keep trying. After about three hours and still no internet I contacted the front desk and they said they could restart the router, but that could take about 40 minutes. I don't know if they ever did, but I never did get internet access. If they cannot handle several guests on the internet, they should not advertise it as one of the room features. So, if you need internet and courteous service, this is not the hotel for you. If all you want is a nice room, go for it. 더 보기

Rooms are clean and Mary at the front desk worked extrememly hard to make quest feel welcome and taken care of. She is the hardest working hotel staff I have seen. The continental breakfast was good but no meat and only hard boiled eggs- We would stay again for the price and the location -

The hotel was convenient to USAFA. Pool was closed but front desk allowed us to go to Holiday Inn Express pool next door. Internet signal is low, I had to keep logging on and finding a wireless connection. Bring a cable if you have anything important to do on-line, or go to restaurant behind hotel - they offer free internet that works. I enjoyed the […] stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The attendant when we checked in tried his best to help us out as he was still in training. It didn't help that the manager was hollering down at him from the second floor on what to do, during this process he reviled to me the cost of the room which was a big difference from the price I was being charged by Hotels.com. The room was not what I expected […] from the description I was given. The small blanket at the foot of the bed had a large burn mark on it. Under the window seat above the air-conditioning unit, the insulation and wiring were exposed. Also the cleaning staff that came in the morning were waiting in the hall to get there things to begin the day and as we passed in-between them they made some rude comments in spanish, not knowing that I understood them perfectly. 더 보기

They tried to give me a lower level room than I reserved and put four people in a standered room. When that was fixed the sofa bed for my kids was broken and we had to change rooms again, than they had trobble getting us enough pillows for us to each have one and they came in to clean took all the towels and did not have any clean ones.

The rooms were okay, but the hotel was quite loud. We were awakened several times by noise from rooms above. Swimming pool is very small with little room for sitting. Overall, not horrible, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Affordable and convenient to most of the Colorado attractions, though the main entrance of the hotel is warm - no air condition available - only ceiling fan.Hallway of the hotel is also too hot.

This hotel met all of our needs. We had clean sheets, towels, and a free continental breakfast. Staff was friendly too. Since we don't hang out in the rooms all day, this place definitely served it's purpose. We will stay again if we are up in this area again.

We stayed here 3 nights. The first thing we noticed was that many shingles had been blown off of the roof. The clerk said that they had had a storm a few days back. We could also see shingles on the lower roof, as we looked out our room window. They were not picked up during our stay. Otherwise, the hotel has a neat, clean appearance from the front […] and inside. Our 2-queen-bed room was pleasant, although small for our family of 5. The roll-away just barely fit in the room. The room was clean, however there was a hole in one of the bed covers. The shower curtain would not stay closed due to the poor installation of the curtain rod. It is definitely a pet-friendly place, as we saw a cat in the window of one of the rooms. One of the staff had their own dog at the front desk. It wasn't a problem for us, but if you are allergic, you might want to steer clear of this hotel. Had a nice continental breakfast and was surprised to have cranberry juice for one of the juice choices. The pool was warm and nice. The main problem for us was that the hotel was very WARM. All of the hallways were hot, and our room was hard to cool down. The air conditioner would cycle and not keep up with cooling the room. We had to spend one whole day in the room due to weather, and it was pretty stuffy and miserable. A repair man was called while we were out for one of the days, but we didn't notice any change afterwards. The hotel seemed to be highly rated at the time of booking and was OK for the price, but we were not very comfortable with the lack of proper air conditioning. We had a great time in Colorado Springs. We stayed at the Microtel and the bed was so comfortable. We had a suite and it was perfect with having brought our 2 sons along. We were able to store and prepare lunch at the hotel, saving us money. There were only 2 things that I would suggest thinking about: First, try to find out if there are any bus tours […] sceduled to come in during your stay. There were 2 tours that came in midway through our stay and we had to compete for everything; the exercise room, breakfast, the elevator. Everyone was very nice but it was crowded. Second, there is a sign as you are driving in that says "dip." Please be careful as you driving up to this area and into the Microtel entrance because you could seriously hurt your vehicle if you are going too fast. We figured out on the last part of our trip that if we entered in by "Old Chicago" restaurant and went behind the buildings, we would avoid this "dip" area. This hotel was close to our destination and link up with I-25 both N. and S. The pool as warm and the breakfast waffles were great. They also welcome dogs on first floor and being a dog love I felt this was excellent.

Room is great, staff is helpful, near to eating places but breakfast needs a major makeover. Just add a little more variety to breakfast and this hotel is as good as home!

We always stay here when we come to Colorado Springs.It is areally great deal: small price, but has an indoor pool, hot tub, X-ercise room, and free bkst. I hate to even tell anyone we love it so much - want to keep the secret to ourselves...;-)

The rooms are small, the TV's are old and in bad locations. The hotel is old and needs to be renovated. They always have rooms available. Don't count on the washers and dryers to work and the soap dispensers are usually empty. The pool and spa are the same temp and the spa hasn't had jets for a while.

We found the hotel very pleasant for the price we paid. We were there for a volley ball tournament and the only thing we thought could have been better about our stay is if there was a more complete breakfast for our athlete to start her day with.

The Microtel Colorado Springs had it all. We were two families travelling, and the receptionist managed to give us two connected rooms. Coffee was available all the time, which is very appreciated by two coffee loving ladies. Our girls enjoyed the pool. Nice breakfast area too. The bed was probably the most uncomfortable hotel bed I've ever encountered. Pool appeared cloudy (dirty). They ran out of food for the free breakfast on both mornings. The hotel did not restrict children from using the waffle makers without parent supervision. That caused the irons to be covered with burned batter and broken waffles, as they did […] not use the non-stick spray provided. The hotel could improve this by posting instructions and age restrictions. Fire alarm sounded on Sunday morning for almost 15 minutes before the fire department arrived. Hotel staff was unable to reset a pull station. Elevator recall and strobes malfunctioned. Despite of the issues, hotel staff was friendly. 더 보기

Several guests had dogs with them, which wasn't a problem except for encounters between dogs in the hall late at night, and the dog in the room next to us barked a lot through the wee hours of the night.

We were there for a vollyball tournament and the hotel handeled all the teams with grace and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Very comfy bed - nice set up - great pool - great staff! A great place to stay!

Nice hotel for a night or two. Despite the fact it was closed to motorway exit, it is well isolated from outside noice. Plenty of restaurants just behind the hotel (no car needed :-) Confort of the room is in the adverage, except the climatisation which was too loud for our taste.

We stayed here with our four children (ages 4,4,,4,and 6). We had a two queen room. My six year old LOVED sleeping on the window seat. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. The pool was not the best I've seen, but completely adequate for the kids. Breakfast was great and included hard boiled eggs and waffles. They also had staff on hand to […] keep the buffet need and replenished. THe neighborhood was good with several restaurants right next door. Also was great for sight seeing as it was directly off the interstate and easy to get to everything we wanted to see. 더 보기
