Overall the stay was nice. Rooms are quiet and the breakfast was nice; saved us an extra trip in the morning

Details are overlooked. The in/outdoor pool combo is nice, but not cleaned (leaves/bugs) before opening. Hot tub too hot to be in/couldn’t change the temp. Rained through the roof onto a large breakfast table in the buffet area, which was delicious Saturday. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns. No bacon on Sundays-very disappointing since the […] sausage links are terrible. Beds not changed between days, we weren’t asked. The TV remote didn't work, the 1 evening person there changed batteries, but that didn't help, because the TV was a different brand than the remote, and they didn't have any remotes for the brand of TV in our room. He was very nice about it, still a pain to have all of the commercials blazing loud at 11pm unless I got up to turn the TV down. We came here to relax, and it didn't quite work out that way. The repair work has been so badly done over the years that it is very obvious whoever is doing the repairs either doesn't know how to repair things, or doesn't care (cracks, woodwork, sheetrock, ceiling tiles.) Pool room water damage to walls, ceiling, and a steel door is rusting away. And even though the breakfast area is part of a fabulous lobby, seeing the water spots/rust look on the ceiling tiles leaves a bad impression anyway. Best= being close to shopping, and having a breakfast buffet all for a reasonable price. Need 2nd desk clerk evenings, much better repair work, otherwise they may have to continue dropping prices over the years. 더 보기

Although this hotel was not in the "midst" of local malls, zoo, etc., there WAS a Kohl's directly across the street, which was very nice. The hotel itself and its friendly staff, not to mention the great accommodations is the reason why I would stay there again. It was very clean and I LOVED that the room we rented had 2 very nice recliners with ottomans. […] EXCELLENT quality of service!! I enjoyed it the pool was a tad bit too small for all the kids that stayed there.

The first night our room had the worst beds I have ever seen in a hotel. Sunken, broken down and not at all conducive to sleep. i was promptly moved to another room the next day when I asked. The clerk told me I should have come to them the night before, which makes me wonder why they still rent the room like this if they are apparently aware of the […] problem. The second room was fine but this does not make up for a horrible first night. Also - they use some type of plastic backed mattress pad which makes crazy noise whenever you move and makes you feel like you are in the hospital! 더 보기

The only problems, if you want to call them that were in the bathroom. The faucet at the sink didn't turn off correctly and the shower head sprayed everywhere. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. It was the weekend of the severe stroms that came through Wichita and they kept us updated has much as possable. We stayed in the hotel when there was a tornado coming through Wichita. The front desk guy was super helpful and knowledgable. He directed us to a room and told us what to do in case the tornado came close. Luckily it was a few miles away, but the hotel was very comforting in the high stress situation. And breakfast was DELISH!

I stay here anytime I have business in Wichita. The staff is very helpful! Recommended for all travelers! Great breakfast!

My family and I had stayed at Northrock Suites once before and had a pleasant time then and also this time around. There is a Sam's Club, Kohl's, Office Max, a Carrabbas Italian Grill, and a few fast food restaurants all within walking distance. The only negatives were an extremely loud vent fan in the bathroom and a very loose toilet. Turning the light […] off in the bathroom took care of the noisy vent fan, but it is really something their maintenance should have fixed before our stay just like the toilet. They do provide DVD players for entertaining the kids, but ours was connected improperly, but I was able fix this myself. One of the nicest additions to the Northrock Suites is their breakfast. It was the typical American breakfast of sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, gravy and biscuits, cereal, toast, etc. Not many hotels I've stayed at have a breakfast with this much variety. All in all, my experience with the Northrock Suites was good and my family and I will stay there again. 더 보기

Everything about our stay was good except for the actucal bed. It was far too soft. I think it might have been a memory foam or if not, it was in need of replacemet. The evening staff was very friendly and helpful and the morning staff was pleasant, though less friendly.

Only cons are that the beds aren't very comfortable and you can't take the breakfast back to your rooms.

This hotel was pretty good for the price. It was clean, had a good breakfast, and the rooms were pretty good sized. They also had fridges, microwaves and flat-screen TV's. They were also a little bigger than a normal hotel room. On the down side; The TV didn't work right. The sound went out after a few seconds on some of the channels. Also, there was […] a cover on the mattress (and under the fitted sheet) that kept bunching up every night and was kind of uncomfortable. We woke up in the middle of the night every night and had to fix that cover. Also, two of the pillows were REALLY lumpy and uncomfortable. Easy to get to. Building new shopping areas out that way. Close to Medical Facilities. Close to Freeway.

the hotel was a good experience; hoever, they need to go back to supplying a fresher breakfast. the food appeared to be over cooked no matter what time we went down to eat. was a quiet and comfortable stay.

Nice big desk for working, comfortable chairs to watch tv, a tv that can swivel to watch as you work or in bed, GREAT breakfast options! Highly recommend for any traveler!

We had a 1 night stay for a funeral in town. Hotel was great location, very good price and friendly staff. Breakfast was even provided! Food wasn't great but still wasn't bad at all. Parking was good and in a good area of town. We will definitely stay there next time we go visit our family.

I always enjoy staying at the North Rock Suites as I know that I can expect a clean, quiet and comfortable stay. The full breakfast in the morning is very nice (not great) and something I've come to count on.

I had an A+ rated overnight stay at The Northrock Suites! The room was a king sized bed suite. The hotel was very pretty. The room was nice & clean, the microwave, fridge, coffee maker, TV & free wireless internet were great. The heating/cooling system worked very well. The bedding was comfortable & clean. Comfortable chairs and a desk with a chair […] for computer work. Free computer & printer usage was available in the Lobby. Customer Service at the front desk was A+! The free breakfast buffett had a large selection of delicious food. Didn't use the indoor/outdoor pool or the exercise room but the hot tub was wonderful. Wasn't expecting such a great place for such a low price. The surrounding neighborhood was filled with well-known, new places to shop & dine. (Like Kohls, PetSmart, Sam's Club, Joann's Fabrics, Tires Plus, etc.) It felt like a very safe area of town. This hotel, and it's location, are great for families, people traveling on business or those on vacation. Will definitely stay there again & recommend it to my family and friends. 더 보기

nice motel but breakfast wasn't good

If we can, we usually stay at here when we are in Wichita. It's close to where we need to be and is always a good value. The rooms are comfortable and big enough that our kids can come visit us while we're at the hotel and we don't feel crowded. The breakfasts are always good, too! Much better than a sweet roll and coffee!

We love staying here, We have only one complaint the pool is ALWAYS cold. We even called the day before we were coming and they told us they would let maitence know and it was STILL freezing when we got there. Its a big let down with kids. The room was nice and the breakfast great.
