Basic but sufficient for one night

The hotel was perfect for us. We have four children and found the hotel very kid friendly. There was an XBox in the lobby, books and Kapla blocks for them to play with. It is located in suburb area of Metz. Good condition with natural surroundings even though facility is a bit old. Free parking and free internet.

We chose this hotel as it was a good distance from our start location in the UK (London). The hotel is a typical Novotel. - Functional and clean. Staff were helpful. The town of Saint Avold was pretty but lacking any range of restaurants for the faamily. Eventually we returned back to the hotel to eat. The biggest surprise was the nearby Lorraine cemetary. […] This is a US military cemetary for those that fell in WW2. It is the largest in Europe. We had planned to visit a war cemetary (to educate our sons) on our route back to the UK. Lorraine was a chance not to miss. We visited the following morning. We were moved to tears. The site hold 10.5k graves. Immaculately laid out and kept. An outstanding statement of respect and gratitude to those that lost their lives for us. I highly recommend the hotel and a visit to the cemetary. 더 보기

This is the best hotel in our trip, Loved the hotel, the staff was very helper and friendly. The ground of the hotel is great, for both kids and family. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, even any of the other Novotel hotel.

A fantastic hotel that was perfect for our mid-way break to Swizerland but would have been very happy to stay longer. Friendly helpful staff and all that you could want was here, including a pool to help us cool down after a long hot drive! Nice resturant with good food but order off the main menu to get bigger portions! Very easy to find.

This hotel was perfect for our family. We spent one night on our way through France. We were impressed with the cleanliness, hospitality and comfort. Having the free Internet in the lobby with printer helped keep us on track with printing directions to our next destination. The service was very attentive, the bed comfortable, the shower wonderful. Great for a one night stop on the drive back from Italy to the UK. Even though the hotel has it's own restaurant (which we didn't try) the staff were happy to recommend some local restaurants. The swimming pool was clean enough, but it would have been nice to have a net available […] to scoop off the insects from the surface. 더 보기

Good for one night stay during travel thru France and Germany

Très près de l'autoroute A4, impeccable pour une escale d'une nuit dans un cadre très agréable, avec des employés très sympathiques ! Réception ouverte 24h/24, parking cloisonné pour plus de sécurité, bar pour ceux qui le souhaitent : impeccable !

het restaurant was een beetje vreemd. wijnen op de spijskaart kwamen niet overeen met het aan-bod. het biobiefstukje was nietom te eten, het zat vol pezen. ik heb het niet gegeten. als die bediening het af wilde halen, heb ik gezegd,kijk eens hoe dit eruitziet,sorry . waarop de bediening zei, pardon en mijn bord meenam. zij kwam dan onmddellijk daarna […] met de rekening en zei , mijn eten werd niet berekent. mijn avondeten waren een paar kleine aardappeltjes. ik vond dit zeer vreemd. 더 보기

Prima hotel met nette kamers. Het zwembad is wel wat steil aflopend met gladde bodem maar lekker water en groot genoeg voor 1 middag met ligstoelen. De obers in het restaurant konden de drukte tijdens de avond niet aan wat een beetje chaotisch was. Wel goede prijs-kwalitiet verhouding bij het eten. Ontbijt was prima.
