i enjoyed my stay at the hotel only thing is it was loud at night time due to the fact that the stairs was outside our door so we could hear everybody coming and going and i think they could of did a better job cleaning up the rooms

I can't complain about the size of the room considering the price I paid, but the pictures ARE deceiving which is upsetting. One of the owners, (Asian man wearing glasses) was beyond rude and unreasonable. I was Also not happy with the how poorly everything was locked. The front door, windows, etc. Anyone could've easily gotten in, but thankfully, no […] one did. But nonetheless, I did not let this ruin my trip. Small hotel in old part of Montreal. Pleasant people at the front desk. Very clean. Our only problem was that the room is where people have to walk up and down the stairs, Our "guard" dog kept warning us about everyone going by, at all times, during the night!!! This was between Christmas and New Year, and I guess that makes for a noisy crowd in a […] hotel. Maybe you would have more peace and quiet at a different time of the year. Grocery store and convenience store nearby if you want to buy fresh fruit, cold cereals etc, or prepared dishes to eat in your room. Faubourg Ste. Catherine nearby for international fast food, and late breakfast croissant/coffee. I would go back because it is budget conscious, and you really only need a bed to sleep (or whatever) for so many hours in a day; the rest of the time you are up touring. 더 보기

This hotel is cheap for a reason. There are no frills (I guess, breakfast is included but I didn't try it) and its not really a hotel you'd hang out or relax in but its cheap and is a great location. Right off the guy-concordia metro stop and within walking distance of downtown you get a place to sleep, a map, and tons of restaurants and shopping around. […] The rooms are small and its a walk-up but if you're traveling on the cheap this place was fine, safe, and fairly clean (although I would keep your clothes in your suitcase - the drawers were stained and there is no closet). 더 보기

This is definitely the worst hotel I ever been ... by far! Dirty, filthy, greasy, stained tiny rooms, broken furniture, hairy shower, grimy carpets, shadeless lamps, rock bottom quality ... slept dressed, on top of covers, afraid I would catch a disease or bugs ... ran away early morning ... this place should be banned! i think the personnel could have been a little nicer. i felt like they didnt even want us there. the room is tiny but its ok if its just to sleep the night. the parking is soooo sketchy i did not want to leave my car there and its soo not worth the 15$ they charge you because you would feel safer somewhere else. and i had to find out that they charged […] for parking by reading reviews, otherwise the guy didnt tell me at all. oh, and the breakfast was so stale! not really worth the price they charge but theyre downtown so of course its over priced. 더 보기

It is a basic hotel right next to the down town shopping street. The room and bathroom is very clean, the staff is friendly. Coffeemaker and A/C provided. These are the things that matter to me. They offer complimentary breakfast from 8 - 10, but that was too early for me. The location is perfect! 1 block from Guy-Concordia and 3 blocks from Atwater station, this hotel is perfect for enjoy downtown. The hotel is tiny, very nice staged but the cleaning in the carpets is deficient. Smelly carpets with lots of stains. The room was very small, but good enough to have a good sleep.

This hotel was perfect for my boyfriend and I when we were visiting Montreal on a romantic vacation. Although it was quite small, I would definitely recommend this hotel as it was in great condition and always clean. The advertisement given by the hotel is highly deceptive. There is no elevator, no fridge inside the room, no coffee maker, no leg space in the room(room is very small;9ftx10ft), bed linens are dirty and the sorrounding is very scaring. I am not recommending any person to chose this hotel else you will be taken for a ride.

I liked the surrounding area as it was equi-distant between two Metro stations. Restaurants nearby, supermarket across from the hotel were convenient. Only downside was the dim lighting in my room even with the overhead light and two lamps, one desk and one standing. Most times I needed all three on to see efficiently.

Room was a little small, but it was very comfy and home-like. Great location too

The Hotel is located about 3 blockes from a Metro station and 1 block from the mearest Bus stop. I was very happy with this hotel and would returne again. The only down side was that the breakfaist which is included was lacking, their was bread, crusants, milk and coffee, and that was it. but that is my Personal oppinion.

The hotel was more like a house. The room was good, but bed was uncomfortable, tv was small and remote was broken. The breakfast was cold and was not much else there. Gave me a feeling of being in a house more than a hotel.

The room was small and congested. The hotel does not have its own parking. You may find parking in near by areas but it's a hassle. I found a parking across street for $16 per night which was not bad. The hotel is in good location, nearby restaurants and subway only two blocks walk.

This was a dirty, smelly hotel. The room smelled like urine. They only make up the room if you leave the sign at the door. "Breakfast" consists of PBJ sandwiches and coffee with warm milk. Street parking outside the hotel is free on the weekends, but hotel staff wanted to charge $12 to park in their resserved spots.

The staff provided assistance and were courteous The location is very convenient as it is close to major retail outlets in downtown montreal (esp st catherine shopping) Parking is a problem though as we had to park in an open lot. The Hotel Le Saint Malo was a fair price for college-aged kids, which we were. I can't honestly say I expected much more. The entrance-way/lobby are really nice and each floor only has 4 rooms, so it's not very loud/overwhelming. Our room had some sort of skid-markish type marks, a big booger, a big dead smeared bug and mismatching paintings on the […] walls. We didn't really mind because we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. But it had an awful smell, and the bathroom flooded from the shower. The service wasn't very good, they never changed our sheets and we had to keep asking for new towels, but they did take our trash. Once again though, the hotel was a perfect quality for the price. Filthy room: -Marks all over the walls -Cobwebs in the corners -Filth inside the shower corners -Burn marks on the window sill in the bathroom, of the NON smoking room. -Bedding smelled The walls are paper thin, you have to share a fridge & microwave with other guests, and the "turn down" service doesn't change the linens, just makes the bed. The only good thing is that has free WIFI. Breakfast was horrible, noisy room, and very small, towels were in bad condition

Les gérants sont agréables, serviables et disponibles. La situation géo est très bien, proche de la rue sainte catherine à 500 m ! Petit déjeuner debout offert avec la chambre ! "Kamers met ontbijt"? Letterlijk, ontbijt die uit koffie en een droge toast bestond mocht je bij de receptie halen en in je (erg kleine) kamer gebruiken.
