Great sea view. Hotel improving on last year, with newly decorated room. Wonderful Christmas lunch, with dining room filled with local families.

Great location. Rooms are slightly dated. Service was ok but when they can't help you easily, there is only the shrugging of shoulders... Breakfast is overpriced.

Old hotel with old furniture, acceptable cleanliness however poor pest control , there were a couple of small lizzards running in the third floor then entering into another room. The hotel is close to Rambla Nova where there are many bars, restaurants and great shopping. A few blocks away are the roman ruins, old town and the ayuntamient at the main plaza which offers a wide selection of bars and restaurants. We booked a "sea view" room and were impressed with the incredible view from the many windows and glass doors in our […] room and from our large balcony. The room was large and included a comfortable living area. Other than the very firm bed and lack of free WIFI in room, we had no complaints. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect location. Roman ruins right across the street. Also the Med. right across the street. Restaurants, shops etc. within 1 block. Polite service in the hotel. Beach close and good. Had a res. for 1 night, stayed for four.

Having stayed in a Husa hotel in Madrid, the room and en-suite bathroom in Tarragona was disappointingly small by comparison. The price of breakfast was not value for money. The location of the hotel was excellent as far as major sites were concerned but we were unable to pre-book parking and therefore when we arrived there was none available. Best location for a view of the sea and central to the Historic sites. Booked on a room only basis and this was good value. Then, we decided to have breakfast one morning - a bigger disaster I've yet to see. Four coffee machines ( none worked), two waiters( later and it was still impossible to get a cup of coffee. The buffet breakfast was minimal, badly […] presented and the whole thing looked tired. The waiters main aim was to get us all out asap. For a four star hotel this was really bad and when I complained to the reception - they didn't seem at all surprised! For those that travel a lot this hotel was a typical European hotel that has not been u prates in years except for the few rooms they charge more for. The location is amazing and the views are amazing. The staff is very hit or miss.

What the Husa Imperial Tarraco lacks in charm, it makes up by its prime location near all the tourist sites. Tarragona is a wonderful city to explore on foot from the hotel. The hotel dining room has a delicious fixed price menu that is hard to beat. The rooms are large and clean. Ask for a sea view if you don't want to gaze at an ugly backstreet.

Good position for Roman ruins and Old Town with a wonderful view of the coast but hotel is a little tired and WiFi is useless,very little parking.

Having read the reviews on the web I was quite apprehensive about what to expect - and I can honestly say that I cant understand some of the negative reviews about the Hotel. We arrived on a Thursday 7th April 2011 at lunchtime and were met by friendly reception staff who gave us our room without a word of question, although the website does say check-in […] is not until after 4. Our room was clean, modern and had a balcony with views of both the beach/ocean and the mountains. The room service was excellent and any questions we had were dealt with in a very friendly manner at reception. We did not have breakfast included in our room rate, but he excellent location of the hotel meant that we could step outside and have a huge choice of cafes and restaurants within a stones throw. All in all, we had a fabulous stay here and would definitely return - the hotel is in a perfect location near rambla nova, ramble vella, placa del font, the beach, the amphitheatre, cathedrel...couldnt ask for better 더 보기

The location was great and the staff was very accommodating. The hotel however was several years late in remodeling. The rooms are clean but VERY worn. The exterior and common areas are patched and in bad shape. I was told that the remodel is coming, but insist on a redone room when you book. The location is great and the views better.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a great location, overlooking the sea, and looks impressive when you first get there. From our room (211), we had side view of the sea and it overlooked the pool. It was badly in need of refurbishment. The bathroom was smelly and there were ants running aong the headboard! Breakfast is expensive at 13 euros, […] and was an OK buffet. The breakfast waiter had a bad attitude problem too, very surly and rude. Make sure you book a car parking space, as we had to move the car one night when there was a wedding on. One of our party had a refurbished room that was lovely, hence the title of this review. 더 보기

We stayed at the Husa Imperial Tarraco for one night during a recent tour of Spain. I have to say I wasnt expecting much for the price we paid but was very impressed with the quality and location of the hotel. The room was spacious and well equipped and had superb views over the roman ampitheatre and coastline. Breakfast was relaxed and had a wide choice […] on the buffet. The location of the hotel was spectacular with terrific views of the beach and the roman amphitheatre. It was a short stroll to the town and the old town. The rooms were adequate and the breakfast was reasonable. The pool was closed when we got there but did open on the last day.It is tiny for a hotel of that size. The price of drinks wasextortionate […] (35 Euros for 6 drinks) and two of our group were pickpocketed while boarding a train in Tarragona so keep an eye on your pocket, in more ways than one!! 더 보기

The location of the hotel was a nice surprise in that it was very central, 1 min walk from the nicest restaurants and bars. 10 min walk from beach. Staff were very unfriendly and generally slow to do things. Roof top terrace and swimming pool were both closed for renovation during our stay, should not be advertised if not available. It was a last minute decision to spend one night in Tarragona. This hotel is great & this little town is beautiful, although industrial in its initial approach, this place offers a stunning little insight to ancient Roman settlements. The staff at the hotel were very helpful & very respectful.

Staff generally didn't speak English but thats fine as its Spain and you expect to have to use a little local. That said it did become a problem due to the atrocious state of the room, it was difficult to discuss this with them but in general they were not remotely fussed I gave up complaining 48 hours into 72 hour stay. Nothing worked the tattered […] woodchip, tiny old bed with insufficient pillows, doors that looked like someone had tried to escape the carpet had cigarette burns, I could go on and on but really lovely city but the Hotel I just want to forget. Hotel en una inmejorable situación con vistas al mar y al casco antiguo de la ciudad de Tarragona. La habitación muy amplia con salón, vestidor y gran entrada. El baño muy limpio como el resto. El amueblamiento un poco anticuado pero las camas muy comodas. Lo recomiendo sin dudarlo y desde luego volvere a repetir en el mismo sitio.

Partis une semaine en vacances en tête à tête au mois d'Août 2011, mon compagnon et moi même avons un avis très mitigé sur cet hôtel: vue très jolie sur la mer, personnel accueillant, hôtel propre et de bon standing; néanmoins, nous avons eu deux très mauvaises surprises à notre arrivée: pas de place de parking pour notre véhicule, ce qui nous a contraint […] a payer un supplément journalier pour y accéder après s’être faits embarquer la voiture à la fourrière de Tarragone! Et l’hôtel se réserve le droit de vous attribuer soit une chambre avec deux lits simples séparés, ou une avec lit double, obligeant les couples à choisir entre ensemble mais avec la vue sur la rue, ou dormir séparés avec le privilège de la vue sur la mer: choix qui ne devrait pas avoir lieu d’être sachant que ces données ne sont pas indiquées sur le site internet de l’hôtel... 더 보기

El Hotel normal, un problema , el ruido, ya que habia una fiesta de cumpleaños en el jardin con discoteca incluida hasta las tantas de la mañana.

Un accueil pas très sympathique on me demandait de régler encore 180 euros!?... et finalement c'était une erreur de leur part pas de place de parking

Prima hotel. Fijn dat er een zwembad is. Wel jammer dat WIFI alleen gratis is in de lobby. Voor WIFI in de kamer dient fors te worden betaald.

Het personeel van de receptie en de bar/restaurant zouden mits wat meer entoesiasme,jeugdige aanpak en gastvrijheid het imago van het hotel ongetwijfeld de noodzakelijke boost kunnen bezorgen. Tevens doen het interieur en de aankleding van bar en restaurant wat "outdated" aan en missen duidelijk de frisheid en de sfeer die het comfort en de uitrusting […] van dit 4-sterren hotel verdienen. deben de quitar la moqueta de las habitaciones, huele mal. El baño no estaba bien limpio. la ducha excelente.

Lo mejor del hotel son los alrededores porque la habitación no es que sea muy amplia.

standing et emplacement parfaits; il serait utile de préciser que l'entrée et le parking sont les mêmes que ceux du Casino.

Her er du nabo til både stranden, den gamle bydel, rambla'en -og et romersk amfiteater med plads til 15.000 -som ville have udsigt over Middelhavet. Hotellet kan varmt anbefales. Det ligner den rene luksus og er det (næsten) også. Værelset var ikke så stort, men komfortabelt, og med en herlig seng (vigtigt). Der kunne MÅSKE være en lænestol mere, men […] til prisen var det over al forventning. Vi spiste en god middag til fair pris, men ikke morgenmad, da vi foretrak at få den i konditori på ramblaen få skridt herfra. Og de øvrige dage gik vi rundt i området -som vrimler med gamle romerske ruiner -cirkus'et ligger 10 skridt fra hoteller som også amfiteatret. Og for de spilleglade -så ligger der et casino på hotellet (med gratis adgang for hotelgæster). 더 보기

Hôtel extrêmement bien situé à l'entrée du centré historique de Tarragone. Excellents restaurants à deux pas. Accès direct à la plage. Très belle vue de toutes les chambres en général. Chambres très claires, proprété impecable. Toutefois, l'hôtel n'a pas d'âme, l'ambiance y est plutôt froide, le service est minimum (ex. piscine non surveillée - pas […] de serviettes), tout est en supplément (wifi, coffre-fort...), le petit-déjeuner est de mauvais rapport qualité-prix (13 euros/pers. et pas d'orange pressée, pas de salade de fruits 'frais'). 더 보기

This hotel is old, and it shows. You can see that they have tried/started to remodel it, but at the same time you can see that the remodel are not finished. When we arrived we were asked if we wanted twin bed or double bed. We are a young couple and wanted a double. The double bed was small (probably 1,20 m wide), and that's a bit too small for two […] persons. Also the shower was not handheld. The carpet was dusty (which is bad for us who both are allergic to dust). The hotel were however close to the old city, the city it self and the beach, but it is a long way to walk down to the beach. We don't recommend the beach either, the water was dirty. We did however like the quiet city of Tarragona, and think the city it self is great for a buisnesstrip or similar. But if you're looking for a beachholiday - choose another city. (We stayed 1 night at this hotel, and 2 nights at another hotel). 더 보기
