This is a reasonably priced hotel for the location - subway station is nearby and the same line connects to the airport (HongQiao) and the financial districts. The room was smaller than expected but very comfortable. The hotel itself is a bit old but still well maintained. I really like this hotel and the location is great. However, recently I treated myself to a superior room and it really did not match the standard room. It was slightly more spacious but the interior was old and the TV was a box set not the usual flat screen. Just a little moan , overall the hotel is of a high standard!

good location, very nice, comfortable beds, good staff.

An excellent hotel in a perfect location.The hotel offers a high service and the room, although small is perfect for a weekend getaway to explore Shanghai! The hotel is walking distance from Jing'an temple and Nanging road. It is easy to get a cab from the hotel and about 10 mins from the train station.To get to this hotel you will need the address […] written in Madarin; none of the taxi drivers could read the address which I had in English! Stayed three nights in this hotel. Stay was quite pleasant, hotel staff esp the bell boy, "Lake" very professional and knowledgeable. location of hotel is good as it is near the train station though taxi's are cheap and plentiful.

Excellent hotel, greatlocation, but prices for breakast or at the bar loung are extremely high...

This was my third time staying in Shanghai. I stayed at the Equatorial for 3 nights.Absolutely love the location, really clean and upscale but also very close to a lot of local eateries. You have to make sure to explore around the hotel. Service was awesome except I found the front desk to be only ok, seemed I was putting them out by asking anything. Maid […] service was super, multiple times a day, very clean and modern hotel with a beautiful lounge. Inside the hotel is a little too pricey though, their buffet was barely average and they charge 258 RMB, wish I had asked the price first. A beer will cost 45-50 RMB in the lounge but I guess expected in a hotel like this. Bed was OK but really hard. Great gym, beautiful hotel overall, I will probably book my next stay in Shanghai here. 더 보기

The services were great the hotel people were very friendly and helpful. I booked for a deluxe room because the info. on internent said that I would get breakfast for that but I was told by the service personnel that my booking did not include breakfast I'm not sure if that was not their fault. The check-in counter clerks speak good English and they […] also have "American name" tags which help in identification and conversation. Fint business hotel. Vær obs på at når man booker på hotels.com er det ikke inkl morgenmad, heller ikke selv om man vælger en prisn inkl morgenmad.

Hyvä sijainti ja palvelut. Sijaitsee hyvien kulkuyhteyksien päässä ja Nanjing road ja metro ovat 500 metrin päässä

Das Hotel ist sehr schoen, die Zimmer gross und das Personal wundervoll. Werde es wieder waehlen!

超高級ホテルではないが 快適で、便利でリーズナブル！ 従業員がとても感じがイイ！

Das Hotel liegt in der Naehe der Nanjing Road - groesste Einkaufstrasse. Allerdings etwas weit vom Bund entfernt.

最初に案内された部屋のベッドが柔らか過ぎて、ハードマットレスをリクエストしました。すぐに新しい部屋を用意してくれて、禁煙のフロアでしたが、喫煙の部屋よりすべてにおいて若干きれいで、豪華なように感じました。

The room is comfy and clean The Internet cost 120rmb for 24 hrs which is too expensive We left our luggage at the back of taxi, and it just drove away before the waiter can get the luggage. The hotel people didn't seem willing to help and just acting like it's nothing they can do abt it. The camera of the hotel is a total disaster since it can't capture […] clear view of the cab and plate number since it's too dark... But it's freaking four star hotel and could do better than that. Sehr gut gelegen, sauber und freundliches Personal. Frühstück gut aber nicht so abwechslungsreich, relativ teuer. Das bestellte 3. Bett war nicht im Zimmer, wurde dann aber sofort aufgestellt, trotz später Stunde. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, die Zimmer sind ruhig und sauber, alles funktioniert. das Personal ist immer nett und hilfsbereit und äusserst freundlich.
