주위가 조용하며 안전한 위치의 호텔이었습니다 객실도 깨끗하며 공동 샤워와 화장실도 청결한 편입니다 다만 중앙난방식이라 온도조절을 개인이 할수 없어 곤란했습니다 아침식사가 포함되지않아서인지 아침에 로비에 커피와 홍차를 준비해주는 최소한의 배려심이 돋보임니다 만약 upperwest side에 다시 호텔을 구한다면 망설임없이 제일 먼저 예약을 해볼것입니다

Very pleasant stay. Cosy hotel, nice staff.

Great location on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The room was small as was expected (after reading other reviews), but clean and adequate. It reminded me of my first tiny apartment in Manhattan, minus the kitchen. Would definitely recommend the hotel for individuals, but not enough space for a family. The bed was super firm!

I was looking for a hotel in a quiet location after a disastrous last trip (I got virtually no sleep). I had no trouble sleeping or being comfortable at this hotel. Bear in mind, I am a small person and a small room and small bathroom did not bother me. But it's not like I was planning a dance party in my room. Bus stops and a subway station were close […] by, less than 10 minutes from Times Square. The room was clean, the shower could use a remodel (just because it's entirely slate doesn't mean the job was done well). The staff were courteous. The alarm clock consistently read the wrong time and after 15 minutes, I couldn't figure out how to change it so I used my phone as an alarm. But these were minor problems during a very comfortable stay. 더 보기

The Park 79 was in a great location and the staff there were very nice and helpful. The elevator held 3 people max and was very SLOW. As far as the room goes - there was one very small window blocked by the window air conditioner which was pretty dirty and sounded like a jet engine. The room was not homey - it was very cold and kind of bleak looking. […] You could not get ice easily, no room fridge - it was a very basic room. I don't believe it was worth the money. Terrific location, right between 2 major subway lines, across street from Natural History Museum, 2 blocks to Central Park, lots of restaurants, stores, pharmacies all within 1 block of the hotel. Selection of coffees and teas in the lobby every morning, and while the rooms are small they are clean and comfortable enough. Hot water is an issue, and […] one morning the water never got hotter than 'warm', and all days it took a long time for the hot water to make its way to the shower, but if I needed to be in this part of town would definitely stay again as its clean, safe, and convenient. 더 보기

The Park 79 was great! Although the room was small, it was clean and had a nice bath. The location near the Museum of Natural History was quiet, clean, and near terrific restaurants and convenient to all the places we wanted to go. Clean, quiet and small. Our family of four fit nicely (a little tightly) in a junior suite. We didn't spend much time in our room so it didn't bother us. Nice spot with great concierge service.

Cosy room with great bathroom in a lovely and central neighbourhood close to Central Park and 2 subway lines. The room wasn't huge but all we needed for a base to explore NY. We were pleasantly surprised at all we got for the price we paid. I would highly recommend to others.

Very small room, but clean, with a very comfie bed, big TV, and very quiet Staff is most accommodating and helpful to their guests. My shower head broke just as I was about to get in it, but the maintenance man was there in minutes to fix. I would return in a New York minute!

We really enjoyed hearing the elevator going up and going down - all night!

Much nicer than the last place I stayed in when I was in New York (YMCA). My room was quite basic, but cozy. The shared bathroom was very clean so I was pleased with that. The shower was dodgy - you had to run it for at least 5 minutes before hot water would come through, but it did heat up reliably if you knew to wait. Lumpiest duvet covers I have […] ever experienced, but they gave me an extra one (also lumpy) so I didn't get cold). The walls are paper thin but I was so jetlagged I would either sleep through an earthquake or remain wide awake, depending on what my body clock was doing, no matter how peaceful or noisy the surroundings, so that wasn't a problem. The building and hallways were very pretty. The building had character. I would stay here again when coming to New York. 더 보기

Small room, a little uncomfortable for two to be moving around, showering, getting ready at the same time. Walls a little thin. Overall it is clean and all you need if you're out touring all day. Elevator is super slow, we were on the 7th (top) floor and we would walk down instead of waiting 10 mins for elevator.

The only minus of this hotel is that there is no breakfast, but they serve free coffee and hot chocolate for customers at mornings, though. Otherwise the place is just perfect: price, location, staff, hotel itself... I would definitely go again, if visiting New York! And I would recommend this place for everyone.

I Booked a room with 2 twin beds. At arrival the Front desk said they had only 1 double bed to offer. The room was small with NO air conditioning. We asked to pay for an upgrade and were told that they were full. The front desk Clerk was not helpful, but the person who answered the phone was extremely helpful. Within 30 minutes we changed rooms to a […] junior Suite at no extra charge. 1 double bed with a pull out couch, refrigerator and air conditioning. If you want to be close to Central Park, this is the perfect location and very safe. Easy to get a cab. I would recommend as long as you do not need any frills. Clean and quiet. Location of Park 79 is terrific - across from the Museum of Natural History and convenient to the Upper West Side. Hotel itself? Meh. Okay for the price and location. Mediocre rooms, practically non-existent water pressure, bathroom the size of a broom closet - literally.

This hotel is in a great location tucked instead a neighborhood on the upper west side. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed. Rooms arnie small- but that's new york! Just down the street from the history museum and central park...easy subway ride down to times square. Loved it and would definitely stay again!

Hi: The hotel is pretty nice. Like other older NY hotels,... the rooms tend to be a bit on the small side. Other than that I'm ok about everything....

The location is excellent if you are into museum and history. The hotel is right next to the Central Park, got a lot of room to run or walk your dog. When I booked the room, I was not aware that this room was a semi-private room. The room itself is only 7'X10', very small, no bath room. No closet, no fridge, no control to temp, and the TV reception […] was terrible. To pee or shower, you need to use your room key to open a shared bathroom down the hall. Hotel is in a really great location. Upper West Side, half a block from Natural Science Museum. Lobby is nice, with comp'd coffee til 11am and free Wi-Fi. The room had no climate control. We stayed at Park 79 last weekend and chose it for the location, since we had tickets to two events at Lincoln Center and love the UWS. The staff was helpful, and the room small but fine for our needs. What prevents me from recommending the hotel, though, is the fact that the hot water was extremely unreliable. The staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean, though tiny. My only complaint was that the bed was uncomfortable. Other than that, it's a great location on the Upper West Side, a great price, and a pleasant place to stay.

Park 79 was removed just enough from the mega-hotels to give us the feeling of the NYC neighborhood life. Only 2 blocks from Central Park. 1 block from AMNH. 2 minutes from buses and subways. just returned from a visit to NYC with my wife and two sons (12 and 13). The Junior Suite was perfect for us to camp out in while we explored Manhattan. Hotel is very well situated for walking and subway access to the city. The staff were fantastic and the hotel could not have been better for us. Tiny hotel, only good thing is that it is close to central park and pretty clean. But the rooms are TINY, there were holes in the floor, hard and uncomfortable bed, the pillows were hurting our necks (pretty the same way a big hard rock would hurt your neck), and there were a lot of noise outside the hotel. I was satisfied with the bed and the overall cleanliness of the room, but not with the overall experience. The bathroom was no bigger than a closet, and the small shower had no light installed. I was nervous about this hotel, because some of the reviews - But I was so pleasantly surprised at what a little gem this hotel is. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Our room was quiet. It was right across the street from the Museum of Nature History, and great restaurants withing blocks. It was a great place to stay.

Wonderful two day stay with my elementary school age kids. Junior suite had enough room for us and was very comfortable. I've read previous reviews and was surprised by the negative reviews. We had a good experience. I love the west side of Manhattan and this is the perfect spot. Couldn't ask for a closer hotel to the park or Natural history museum. […] Convenience store across the street is welcome help for late night snacks. Friendly, nice rooms, next to the central parc.

room was overall quite nice. Bathroom is tiny (shower only).

Room was nice, clean, very pleasant. Only downside was the bathroom is VERY small; drying off after a shower needs to be carefully choreographed to not bump into the sink, walls, shower door. Still, I'd stay there again.

We had a horrible stay due to the fact that the hotel temperature was around 80 despite the fact that our window was open. It was ridiculously hot. We complained, but since our room's radiator was off, they did absolutely nothing, and we had to spend another night miserable. Couldn't sleep at all.

Small hotel, small room, big customer service. My wife and I spent three nights back in November and we are very satisfied with our visit because this hotel service and location.

I was upgraded to a king room on the 7th floor when I arrived. Staff was friendly and accommodating and let me check-in early. My room was clean and cozy. You can tell the building is old, but it has been updated to feel "new" and elegant. Great price, comfy bed, and good staff!

My room was very small, but had everything you need. If you don't mind to use shared bath room and toilet, I recommend to stay this hotel. There're many restaurants and shops around the hotel. You can easily access to the Central Park, too.

This is a very comfortable hotel. I love that its an old building, kept nicely, but could update with new caret and fresh paint or molding. Bathrooms are in Great shape. I'd stay again

Very good hotel with a low cost. They have size and quality to meet you budget. good location to many attractions and to Broadway and Time Square. Also a few blocks from the 1 train which will take you up/down town Manhattan. I was very a happy for the price I paid. Would stay there again.

As noted by others, this is a terrific upper west side location, across the street from Natural History Museum, and within 2 blocks of 3 major train lines. 2 blocks to Central Park. Staff was all very pleasant, free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby every morning until 10 am or so. Small rooms, but everything worked in the room and it was […] comfortable. Shared bathrooms for standard rooms, but the bathrooms were always clean. Rooms have shampoo (no hair conditioner), soap, body lotion, nice thick towels, irons, and tv's. There were issues with the heat, in the fact that the room was way too hot for my taste and in the middle of winter I had the window open to keep it to my liking, but this is not something that would prevent me from staying here again. Went with my wife and we had a great time! Hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. We would stay again. Elevator was slow, so we just took the stairs... if you are a big person and/or lazy - the elevator may upset you, if you have to constantly wait on it.
