Hotel is conveniently located - the tub/bathroom is very small and NEEDS RENOVATION...oh my God, hotel management do something! Eventhough I only stayed one night, I didn't like my stay and wouldn't recommend it to anybody. Fortunately my frustration swept away after a yummy breakfast at Cora restaurant (just beside the hotel).

Located right down town, just a hop, skip and jump from shopping, restaurants, night life and the Bell Centre. Closer than we originally expected! The room was recently reno'd and had hardwood style flooring and a spacious bathroom. The only downside to the bathroom was that the vanity counter had been replaced with a single pedestal sink and a wire […] rack to hold towels, which made setting some smaller accoutrements on the wire rack difficult without them falling through unless a towel was spread out on the rack first. Chez Cora within the hotel was a nice convenience for breakfast. Room was very clean. Bed was super comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again. Parking was available just across the street. Not affiliated with the hotel, but the parking attendant certainly knew how to pack the cars in. But it was nice to be able to see the car from the hotel. 더 보기

1) We checked-in late in the evening (around 2 am) and forgot to put a do not disturb sign on the door. At 8:30am, housekeeping knocked and entered, despite calling out that we did not want to be disturbed. Beyond the disturbance, the woman seemed genuinely disgruntled with us. Weekday or not, 8:30 is too early to send housekeeping around. 2) The gym […] may as well not be there. There's almost nothing there and it is not a user-friendly space. 3) The room was not particularly comfortable or well designed. We spent very little time there and 4) The internet did not work well at all. I would prefer a minimal charge for internet access over free wi-fi that couldn't stay connected. 5) The staff were not particularly rude, but they definitely were not friendly either. we had a very enjoyable stay. the hotel met all of our needs and the staff was extremely helpful . this is our second stay here and we will continue to stay here on future trips to Montreal

We had a good experience in this room, but it was slightly cramped. Their service and cleanliness was outstanding.

For the price paid this was worth it as it is in downtown Montreal....

where to begin.. lobby was under renovation, understandable but looked terrible. seemed very unorganized and everyone but a single staff member were confused and unhelpful. god knows when the bathroom was properly cleaned last - there were names written in the steam on the bathroom mirror. when we opened the phone book to look for a place to order food […] a CONDOM fell out. I'm sure this was not from the hotel, unused.. but still GROSS. the towels smelled strongly of gasoline. and on our last morning there we noticed an infestation of ants beginning. greatly disturbed we checked out early. wanted to talk to someone but staff were too busy talking amongst themselves and we just wanted to get the heck out. it was the single worst hotel experience I have ever had. 더 보기

Hotel was close to downtown Montreal which was a must for me. Room was nice but very small. The last day before departure, we noticed some little ants roaming around. I'm not talking about one ant either but roughly around 10 to 15 ants which is a definit no no for me. I guess when you don't want to pay much, you don't get much. My fault!

They were having issues with the wifi & the phone for the three days I stayed there. Was unhappy with that because we were just visiting and we needed the wifi and the phone.

While their main floor construction is now underway, the hotel was still quite clean and comfortable. With only a short walk from the main business district and a Cora's for breakfast, this smaller hotel is perfect for the short term business visitor. This was my 4th stay in the hotel in the past year.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend. We were so happy with the location, close to everything (St. Catherine Street, Metro, parking). The only downside was that it got a little noisy at night from the other guests in the hallway. But there wasn't any noise from outside, nice and quiet. Overall great! Good location and there is an amazing breakfast place attached to the hotel! The bathrooms are kind of small and eurolike

No complaints at all. Service was quick. Rooms were clean. There was construction going on in the main lobby, which is the only drawback, but shouldn't be considered a deal breaker.

Great downtown location - close to shopping and restaurant experiences. Transit options to/from airport as well as to Montreal General Hospital are also close by and reasonable. Rooms are clean and the staff was EXTREMELY helpful in getting me a late checkout to accommodate for my interview and return times from the hospital. i paid the extra money for a business room because i we there on business and need to be up bright and early. But apparently the whole floor was under construction and i ended up next to 4 rooms of party animals. I would only book this hotel because of its location - close to everything

Being right across the street from the Bell Centre makes this hotel the perfect spot to stay for those attending Montreal Canadiens games. My boyfriend and I had a great time in Montreal and we were happy that all of the staff at the Best Western Hotel Europa were fluent in English. Would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends!

It's cheap compared to the hotels around it. It's also pretty clean and the rooms are nice. The service was so-so, but I usually don't care about service. One problem encountered was that the maximum temperature of the water wasn't very hot and that kinda bummed me out because I wanted to take a relaxing bath.

Good hotel, good location, parking is expensive and very difficult and very unaccomodating parking staff.

The hotel staff were very accommodating and responded quickly to the noise complaint we filed. The room was very clean and the location of the hotel was great! The front desk did an excellent job at providing us with information for dining and night life. If returning to Montreal, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This hotel is close to many attractions in MTL but there aren't many other benefits. The rooms were so tiny that there is no place to put your bags. We were supposed to be given a queen bed and ended up with a bed the size of a double. This Best Western considers beds the size of a double to be queen beds. The room was so small that it would be impossible […] to fit a queen in the room. The double bed took up the entire room leaving walking space similar to what you would find in prison. Also, the floors were laminate. Considering MTL has plenty of snow that is probably the worst thing to put on the floor. When you take off your boots there were constantly puddles in our room. (The room is so small that the puddles end up in the few square feet u have to walk). I'm pretty disappointed with our stay there and wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone else. 더 보기

This was very close to Bell Centre and St. Catherine's. Found plenty of things to do all within a short walking distance. Also the 747 Express bus from the airport picks you up/drops you off a block away. Very convenient! Wifi was a big plus, too! Overall, it had everything I needed.

Great value for money, a good 3 star Hotel, would recommend anyone to stay.

This hotel is meant for the traveler who expects a clean hotel room with modern amenities without anything else. If your goal is to have a hotel room to sleep in and leave in the morning, this is perfect. If you want to eat breakfast, there is a perfect breakfast restaurant downstairs. Bed was very comfortable. Room was a good size. Hallways looked a bit dingy but I didn't care.

This hotel is soooo close to everything...the clubs, the malls, the metro station, everything! The outside of the hotel looks really ghetto but the inside is clean and nice. It's not a 5 star hotel but it's definitely worth the price you pay. I enjoyed my stay. Very affordable :) I would stay again.

I had a very good experience at the Best Western Plus Downtown-Hotel Europa. The staff at the front desk were friendly, the internet was free, the bed and bed linens were very comfortable (the pillows are thick and firm, which I like), and the hotel was very conveniently located. I could walk just a few blocks to the conference I was attending, as well […] as to shopping and coffee shops and a metro station. The rooms are not luxurious, but had everything I needed. The internet was down for a few hours the morning of my first day, but was back up again by the time I returned from a conference session. The hotel opened a restaurant the day I arrived but does not have room service. I did not try the restaurant, so I don't know what it offers. This hotel is great! I will come back and stay again. The hotel is 2 blocks from the Bell Centre and a few streets away from all the main bars and clubs downtown. The hotel staff where great and our room was excellent. The price of the hotel was reasonable too. I recomend this hotel 100%

All in all my wife and I were satisfied with our long weekend stay...great location. The location is only about 6 blocks from the central station. Certainly not the amenities of the Queen Elizabeth...but not the cost either. Only disconcerting note, a midnight fire alarm, (laundry dryer lint fire issue), no individual room call (aka reverse 911 call). […] We're heavy sleepers and slept through the first alarm. Front desk was a little disorganized in handling the multiple room phone inquires as to what was going on. Would we go back on our next visit...yes! 더 보기
