The bedspreads were the only thing I would say was not so good and they were dated. The hot tub and pool were nice and the overall experience very good.

Stayed one night here on a last minute trip to Monterey. It's right off the freeway, which is convenient. There's an OK restaurant next to the lobby where we had breakfast (overpriced). Didn't have a chance to check out the pool/spa. The rooms are also very small with just enough room for a queen bed and a couple chairs.

Comfortable, clean rooms at convenient location for a reasonable price. Near a shopping mall with restaurants and theaters.

The staff was friendly and accoomodating. The hotel is definately a bit dated, but the rooms were clean and comfortable and there were some modern amenities (iPod dock, flat screen tv,etc) Easy access to the freeway, shopping and all the sights of Monterey. Thought the place was great very cute, only problem we had was that the plastic cups had holes in them even wrapped in plastic. Looked like it was on purpose.

Looks a little outdated from the outside but the rooms were very comfortable with all of the proper hotel things: Fridge, couch, booklights, flat screen, etc. Hard to get in and out of because of the streets but over all nice location. I would stay again.

Room was nice, and clean Shower was not up to par poor water delivery. Otherwise very comfortable room Would go back!

Good service from the front desk. Checkin was easy and painless. Wifi works very well but not security enabled. The location is convenient and although it is near a main road the room is very quiet. This is a good hotel for family also.

This hotel has multiple safetly and security issues. Primarily, our room had a large window (easily accessible from the street) that had no lock, latch, or any other means of securing it. Literally, anyone from the outside had free and unobstructed access to our room, not to mention the fall-hazard for our toddler. I was literally able to press my palm […] against the glass and slide the window open quite easily. Further, there was no possibility of putting a bar or other barricade in the window track because the design of the window put the track on the exterior side, and there were no screens even. We didn't realize this problem with the window until the next morning, so we stayed an entire night completely vulnerable. On the way to the hotel office to report this issue we observed that other rooms' windows had the same issue, all of which had accessibility from the street. We immediately reported the issue to the person at the front desk who neither seemed surprised nor particularly concerned about the situation. We asked to speak to someone in charge and were told "they weren't available" and that she "didn't know their phone number" but, if we wished to do so we could "talk to someone in housekeeping." Really??? Someone from housekeeping??? In addition to the security issue with the windows, this hotel is built into a hillside and has many staircases and other areas with railings. Much to our shock there were gaps in the railings (in multiple locations) that were easily large enough for our child to fall through. There were no elevators either, so my wife and I had to haul our bags up/down multiple flights of stairs, all the while herding our daughter away from the fall hazards. Upon receiving no concern, acknowlegement, or response from any supervisor/manager, I called hotels.com to let them know about my familiy's ordeal. They instantly refunded me the full price of the hotel and then instructed me to document my experience in a review of this hotel (what I 더 보기

My husband and I wanted to get away for a nice, romantic, relaxing weekend. We thought we would try something new, save some money, and stay in downtown Monterey. I saw the pictures of the pool table and the gym and thought it would offer some free fun for both of us. The gym room was nice and we had a good time playing pool. The only spoiler was the […] guy who had a few too many shots in the bar crowding into a game between my husband and I because I was told that I didn't really know how to play and he needed to teach me. Along with a smart remark of how old my husband looks...which he doesn't....again too many shots...the annoyance of someone trying to give us lessons when we were only trying to have some relaxing fun left us feeling a bit uneasy. I was just hoping the bartender would step in and say something since she seemed to know him by name. We then called the "fun" off early and left. As for the restful night sleep I thought I would have from the what the other reveiws said, I was somewhat disappointed. All through the night the heater rattled on and off every 15 minutes or so and then at 5 am the gas station next door or the hotel itself had a delivery with the truck backing up and making that God awful beeping noise for about a minute or so, long enough to wake us up. Though we did not have a good time, others might enjoy their stay here. What a pleasure it is not to be charged for things like internet and movies. The breakfast was much better than most hotels. The hotel was clean, fairly priced, and convenient to local attractions. I would definitely stay there again. They even had a bowl and treats for our small dog.

Nice hotel centrally located next to everything

I was pleasantly surprised upon my arrival at the Bay Park Hotel, this hotel is not really a 3 * hotel to be honest. I dive in Monterey quite often and have stayed in many hotels down there and to be honest to me this is the best one yet! Very friendly staff greeted us upon arrival. Check-in was pleasant and smooth. Good hospitality. Our room, as well as the entire property, was very well kept. This hotel is close to everything and right off the highway for easy access. Great value for the price and great service. Only down side is a little more traffic noise than hotels further away from the highway but not a big factor for me.

Really enjoyed our 1 night stay - hotel was very comfortable and good value for money. Morro Bay itself was delightful - we will return.

Always enjoy the Bay Park. Very convenient location. Nice to have the convenient store nearby as well as the restaurant and bar lounge. Staff always extremely nice and accommodating. Great value for the price.

Decent place and the price is right. Fairly close to all the cool stuff in Monterey. Noise from the breezeways really carries, but we didn't hear anything after midnight. I would stay here again.

Christmas is usually cold, so I'm glad this was a warm year - warm enough to have the top down on my car. But, the room was cold and with the heater going at full blast all night - it was barely warm air coming out - it was still cold. All night. It wasn't a hotel. It was a motel. Excellent service, comfy beds and room, nice hot tub, good continental breakfast with protein! We would definitely stay here again. Short drive to Cannery Row.

I thought the price was very reasonable and the accommodations very clean, quiet and comfortable. Hotel clerk was very helpful in helping us find a good restaurant nearby... Location is great - close to wharf, downtown, etc... Would definitely stay there again...

The rooms of the hotel were very nice to see and had a large bath. However, I found the place very noisey and chilly(even with the heat on).
