good location and value for money

The hotel was ok. The towels were kind of small and only two per room. We requested extra towels for our 4 rooms but we had to ask again for these. the breakfast bar was good.

Our room was small but fantastic. Very clean! The sheets smelled fresh, the bathroom was clean and the staff was friendly. Perfect.

the only problem I have with the hotel I was told that I couldn't take the call for breakfast to my room, it would I had paid for in advance, 5 days. eating area was very small. I have stayed in very upscale for some facilities, and have never been told I could not take breakfast in the quarters of which I am staying,pay fir due to it being their free […] food.. However it's not free, trust and believe we've paid 4 it. With all the additional sur-charging as well as taxe. However we went out an purchase bf ,what.do u no not a word was said.. Comforts of home at a hotel.

Room service was awful! They stripped our beds before 9am even though we were staying for another night there, and didn't make the beds until well after 4pm. They were too busy in the break-room down the hall, chatting. Avoid this one at all costs.

The hotel prices are very cheap, but you get what you pay for: rooms are run down, dirty, etc. You can hear people walking down the hall all night long and outside of hotel is scary at night.

the place sucked spend a little extra money and get a nicer hotel

It was a very good price and good location with a lot of restaurants and shopping near and freeways near. Definitely would reccomend

I made reseravtions thru hotels.com, printed the confirmation that showed it be PAID IN FULL yet, when I arrived the hotel clerk still asked for the full balance. It ended up being that I had to call the customer service dept back at hotels.com and the hotel clerk called his supervisor to confirm if it was ok to give me a room in which I had already […] booked. While there, housekeeping came and basically walked in my room after knocking and I asked who it was, they were walking in. The next day, they took my dirty towels but, failed to leave clean ones. I was very dissatisfied with my stay here and will not be going back. 더 보기

I checked in and the first room they gave me the door did not lock, you could slip a credit card between the door and the lock and open it. when I mentioned it, the front desk clerk said there was nothing they could do and the maintenance man would look at it, he said yeah the lock had been broken for over a year the police had to kick the door in. […] Because of this, they moved me to a bigger room and then wanted to charge me the extra cost, I said no , it is a safety issue. The AC/Heater did not work, there were drawers missing from the dressers, when you went to open the cabinet to hang your clothing, the handles came off in your hand. the 3rd floor must be the residential floor because all you heard all night was someones very loud music until all hours of the night , and the smells coming from the rooms when you got off the elevator was offensive. Being there for 2 nights, I had to have my room key recoded 3 times to get into my room. The large tv was sitting on top of the cabinet, which was pulling away from the walls. there was no hot water, the toilet constantly ran, and the carpeting in the hall way was coming up when you would walk on it, and all it was held down to the floor with staples and nails. We stayed at the Microtel during the Superbowl, when our options were quite limited. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The lobby actually had a large hole in the wall, where cold air was pouring in during the cold snap that hit Dallas. The elevator was broken, the entire place was dirty and run down, and most of the furniture and fixtures […] in the room were in some state of disrepair. Additionally, the room was chilly and the heat did not seem to work. One bright spot was that all of the staff we encountered possessed that stereotypical southern charm. They were all friendly and helpful. Microtel needs to give this facility some serious attention. We will not stay at one again. 더 보기

The photographer is great. Made the facility look great at just the right angles. Front lobby smells like "cultural" foods, room smelled strongly of "fabulosa" and much smaller than photos. There is enough space underneath the front door of the room to slip a finger under. Desk agent came out in bare foot. Will not be using them again.

Pros: The bed was very clean. The staff was extremely nice. The AC worked very well. It was conveniently located. I liked that it had windows that actually opened. Cons: The couch had stains on it and no covers. The room looked nothing like the pictures. The bathroom was in a state of disrepair. There was no alarm clock. There were very loud announcements […] early in the morning from the Home Depot next door. The phone had been colored all over with a pen and looked very dirty. In summary, the price was very good for a clean bed on a very busy weekend, but I would not stay there again. I would pay a little more for a little more comfort. 더 보기

I would definitely not recommend anyone staying here. The room stated it had a sofa bed. When I pulled it out, it was covered with stains and had food particles in it. There were no sheets to cover the bed. I ended up putting back and slept on it as a sofa, which was too short even for my short frame. The sink in the bathroom did not drain. The toilet […] was clogged the entire time. Also, when you left your room, the door would not close. We had to slam it a couple of times while the hotel management watched us struggle with it. Also, the hotel clerk had her young son there who would run around screaming until 12am at night. We could hear him all night. I'm not a picky person--my basic requirements are a clean bed and working facilities. This was the worst place that I have ever stayed at! 더 보기

This hotel is noisy, dirty, in need of maintence and a entire tearout and remodel. Home Depot is next door they work all night with forklifts, banging on shelves a loud warning beeper, parking lot swepper equipment etc. The maid bangs around cleaning early in the morning and kcocked on my door sevseral times way before checkout time. There are stains […] on the carpet, chairs, carpet was snagged in deveral places. Several ledges were dusty and a film of go was on some thinks I touched. The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. This is the 2nd Microtel I have stayed in and I am very please with this chain. Their rooms have a fridge and microwave as well as a padded baywindow seat which is extremely relaxing. I will definately be looking for this chain of hotels when I next travel.
