How can I put this in 1000 words or less..here goes.. Arrived at Baymont Inn on 94-told we were at wrong Baymont Inn-our reservation was at the one downtown. We were not aware there were 2. The one on 94 did have rooms, but apparenty when I called hotels.com( where we booked it thru) the downtown hotel was not willing to transfer our reservation. So, […] we got directions from the very gracious lady at the desk from Baymont Inn on 94 and drove to the hotel downtown. We were so surprised to see this hotel from the outside was a Baymont Inn. It looked like a motel right off Route 66 back in the day. We check in-(the guest clerk was wonderful by the way). We go start to ourroom and saw the stairs and asked where the elevator was-they didn't have one so we had to walk up 2 flights of stairs just to get to the 2nd floor. My husband and I both have bad knees-nothing available on 1st floor. We get to our room, sit down on the bed, and the whole mattress flips up on the other side. Then, by the phone there was a wadded up muffin holder. It was gross. So, we went to check out the 'airplane' bathroom, and the tub was dirty. So, I called downstairs and let the clerk know. She apologized and brought us up a new key card immediately for a new room. It was OK. Thank goodness we we were only there for 1 night. We expected much more from a Wyndham affiliated hotel. In my opinion, you should dump this location, it ruins the Baymont Inn name 더 보기

Great hotel!! Good place to stay and good price.

This hotel was probrably the worst hotel that I have stayed in. When we arrived at 1am there was a party of young people right next door to us, and the smell of marijuana and cigars filled the hallway. There was screaming and yelling and "kids" in the hall until 4:30am. When my wife called the front desk she was hung up on. Staff friendly & helpful. Nice Continental Breakfast offering. Hotel clean. Would definitely book at this location again.

My room needed three light builds so it was dark. Didnnt get my wake up call so don't count on them Night clerk was solo friendly, it almost made up for it.

I didnt like the fact that they are unwilling to give you a refund if you have to cancel. You have to pay in full and won't get any money back no matter what. Pool wasn't bad. My kids liked it but it was cold in there. They only had one of the three heaters on and you couldnt turn on the others.Room was very small only double beds. It was tiny square […] footage. I had a very pleasant stay at the Baymont Inn & Suites. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When I checked in I was given 2 warm chocolate chip cookies! Not a luxury hotel but overall a very good value for the money. I would gladly return.

Our stay was great. They were very busy because of a bowling tournament nearby and something going on at the Kellogg Center nearby, but the desk clerk was still very cheerful and friendly.

This hotel is very nice was just thier for a overnight stay. Front Desk Girl very very nice and helpful!. The only problem my husband and me had was the smoking of weed in the rooms!!! it kept going right thru our door!. Everything else was great.

I stayed in a king suite and everything was great. Staff was pleasant, room was clean.

Hotel was conveniently located and close to the expressways. Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing. Not much selection.

the only complaint i have is that they never changed my sheets. they just threw the blanket over the bed and you could tell that's all they did. i finally told them to change my sheets. nice breakfast. it wasn't supreme but it was satisfying.

The pool and hot tub were wonderful and the breakfast was perfect! Front desk staff was very helpful and really wanted us to have everything we needed!

The Baymont was a great place for our family to stay. Other family members joined us in other rooms and we were able to go to our family reunion/thanksgiving celebration near by. The breakfast was adequate, and the employees were there to meet whatever needs we had.

my son and I had ejoning rooms with my mother we both have health issues. the carpet in my room was dirty and the whole room just old. my mothers room was not much better. we were only there over night and in the morning the toilet cloged and i had to use my mom's room. No care in the laundry--all the towels and wash cloths were like starch. we will […] never go back again. also my mother tried to use the pool water to cold. the person at the desk in the am around 6:30 was usless I asked for directions and had no idea to a main area in battel creek--the V.A. medical hospital. that was after she asked me was the breakfast counter needed. We go to the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek at least once a year and the Baymont Inn & Suites on Van Buren is within walking distance, very nice will be making reservations here again. Do wish the cont breakfast had a little more to it.

The hotel was okay and nothing stood out as blatantly bad until night when I attempted to close the drapes. If you have ever stayed in a hotel, you are familiar with the dark drapes that keep out light and the sheers behind the heavy drapes. Well, apparently, the hotel recently installed new drapes and the heavy draped do not close. I was on the first […] floor with a room that faced a parking lot. This was incredibly disconcerting since sheers were the only thing that separated me from anyone standing outside the window looking in. To make matters worse, this hotel is located in a rough part of town. Aside from being worried about Peeping Toms, I could not sleep because a light from the parking light shone in my room all night long. Since I could not pull the drapes closed, I was up all night. It was a nightmare. This ranks as my worst hotel stay ever and I travel a fair amount. Seriously, if you don't want to be up all night worried about people looking into your room and having no way to close them out, don't stay at this hotel. 더 보기

The front desk attendant was very friendly and accommodating. She seemed very knowledgeable about the area. The hotel itself needs redecorating. The "no-smoking" signs are still up in front of rooms that were smoke-free before the public smoking ban, and we could tell from the smell that our room used to be a smoking room... not at a level that was […] problematic for us, but definitely observable. Fresh carpeting/paint/etc. would probably get rid of that at this point. We were comfortable in the room and appreciated the service, the state of the hotel is about what we expected for what we paid. For the money it was a great stay. Very friendly people that were always helpful. I would definantly stay there again.

just the way i like it great staff clean rooms no problems

We stayed in a spacious King suite. Very compfortable. The helpful young woman who checked us in recommended Clara's on the River Restaurant for dinner. It was only a short walk on a lovely summer evening. food was excellent. Hotel was conveniently located. Definately will return.

The room smelled a little like smokers had been in there but overall it was clean and a very comfortable bed.

We didn't know our way around town & staff & others were very helpful. We were not sure where you were located,but found it on your map. We were not on time for breakfast.but the clerk was eager to get us anything we wanted & she did. Couldn't ask for better service & pleasant people. Do not go here if you expect to use their work out facility. The room was about the size of a closet (smaller than the normal hotel room at least). It had no air conditioner in there, and half of the equipment was broken or out of order. My room was very smokey even though it was a fully 'smoke free building'. Not sure how that happened. The wireless […] internet was flaky, half the time it worked and half the time it didn't. The location was great! I highly recommend the Cafe on the River (practically accross the street from the hotel). It was delicious. They serve free Otis Spunkmeyer cookies everyday and that was a nice welcoming on your way in from a long work day. 더 보기

Clean, quiet, convenient. Just what we were looking for for a quick one night stay. Beds and pillows comfortable, room clean, neighborhood seemed fine.

We were upgraded to a jacuzzi room because they were sold out of King rooms, which was great. Unfortunately we had noisy neighbors the first night. They were doing road construction on Michigan Ave downtown two blocks away, but that didn't really create any problems.

Very unpleasant experience. Hotel dirty and service shoddy. Would never stay there again.

Friendly staff. All of them. Room was clean & cleaned every day. Complimentary breakfast ok. Coffee too weak. Got the job done tho for the most part. Simple, cereal, bagels, waffles, juice, muffins etc. For the price we couldn't have done better in today's market.

byob- bring your own breakfast. The complementary breakfast did not meet my expectaction is the only complaint i have service was great the food just tasted bad... and to think the kellogs plant is down the street they should have had better quality food to choose from.

Nice comfortable hotel. My only disappointment was that we were on the second floor and there is no elevator. Inconvenient as we had a lot of luggage.

My family and I were treated very well by your staff, and the kids loved being able to swim. The pool area was clean,and the whirlpool was great. Simple acccomodations, the carpeting in the hallway needs to be replaced but my room was very clean and it was super convenient for a one night stay in downtown Battle Creek.

The hotel its self seemed clean and comfortable and at first glance so did our room and it was in a good location. Soon after arriving we found that the toilet was filthy! Covered in what looked like days worh of dried urine and hair. Having checked in after midnight we were exausted and opted to just clean it ourselves and go to bed. The room and accommodations were very nice. We stayed in a jacuzzi suite and it was awesome for the money. excellent weekend get away with the casino just 10 minutes away.

5 minutes from the Casino and hotle was clean. The staff was very helpful.

If you're looking to crash after a concert or other dealings downtown, this isn't a bad hotel. Wouldn't recommend for an extended stay. Pros: Comfortable beds, pillows, etc. Good TV selection. Clean. Cons: No thermostat on the heater. You're either going to burn or freeze. Trim in bathroom fixed with colored push pins.
