호텔 메트로폴 (Hotel Metropol) - 탈린

탈린 구시가지 안에 있지는 않지만 구시가지에서 매우 가깝고 항구에서도 가까워서 위치는 좋습니다. 그리고 오히려 구시가지 안에 있지 않아서 잘때는 조용하고 좋았던 것 같습니다. 그리고 호텔이 특별히 이쁘거나 하지는 않지만, 방도 워낙 깔끔하고 가격도 저렴해서 하룻밤 묵기엔 적당하고 좋네요.

Hotel was fine, breakfast was good and service was friendly. Hair and beauty salon of hotel was good and friendly too. Only problem what we had was that my recervation had been registered to hotel booking system at wrong name. Last name was ok, but first name was wrong! And that's why it took little bit longer to get the room. I don't know how is it […] possible, because I had written my name right to hotels.com booking and it was of course right in my booking print. But still there in hotels system was "Outi" and my name is Johanna :D Wierd... But guy in reception was friendly, ask few of times could I be "Outi" called somewhere and gave us finaly the room... 더 보기

Great location ...a walk away from the ferry terminal and near the old city...adequate room, a good size, warm and comfortable. Great restaurants and cafes nearby. Friendly locals, who all speak wonderful English. A great city to visit...

Overall we were happy with the hotel as it was well located close to all the sights we wanted to see in the Old Town. The room was comfortable enough, but would have benefited from tea/coffee making in the room. On our first night there was a fire in a room on the floor below us, which was not the hotel's fault, but we did not hear a fire alarm, which […] was also reported by other guests, and we felt that the fire procedures were a bit haphazard. Can't fault the hotel at all! Very close to the Ferry port when coming over from Helsinki (walking distance) and very close to everything else you could want to see in Tallinn - 10 minute leisurely walk. Breakfast was nice, rooms comfortable and well worth the money

Convenient to old town (7 minutes walk), but not to close which is good. Also convenient to ferry terminals.Room was clean but no tea making facility. Wifi would not work but free internet in lobby.They have sauna and massage which desk does not tell you about. Continental breakast

Hotel Metropol had a great location, right on the eastern periphery of the Old Town. Just around the corner was the Rotermann quarter, which is the central hub for Tallinn's award of European capital of culture for 2011. It is also situated within easy reach of the city centre, and the Kadriorg palace is only a 25 minute walk from here. Internally, […] the hotel was clean and well maintained. I also found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were a little uninspiring but were filling and convenient. The main gripe we had with our stay was the comfort of the room; the bedding was comfortable enough but it was the overwhelming heat that caused a couple of restless nights. The rooms were not air conditioned which made it very warm and humid in the rooms, especially when it was still 20 Degrees upwards at 1am. As this is the first time I have stayed in Tallinn, I am ignorant as to whether air conditioning is the norm and indeed what the weather is usually like during the summer. We seemed to arrive when there was a heat wave (not that i'm complaining!) and that sort of nightly temperature may well have been an aberration. Hence I wouldn't give too much weighting to that particular drawback as i'm sure the rooms would have been pleasant under different cirumstances. I did not use many of the Hotel services on offer, for example the on-site Saunas, so cannot pass judgement on them. We did spend a little time in the Karoke bar though, which had an extensive list of tracks but not such an amount of customers! However it was an intimate and relaxing enough environment for a couple of quiet drinks. Overall I would recommend this hotel to others, especially if you're looking for somewhere to stay in a central location. The hotel was adequate and pleasant for our short stay. Staff were ok. The location was a few minutes walk into the Old Town with lots of amenities close by. Definitely a no frills experience but that's all we needed.

First and foremost there is nothing wrong with this hotel. It offers outstanding value, friendly staff, two good bar areas, pleasant lounge and good bedrooms. Yes, it is next to a strip bar, but there are also some nice buildings as well. The area is fine and it's closeness to the centre is ideal. The breakfasts are not the best I've had, but even then […] there was still cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, toast, jam and pastries. The interior of the hotel is clean, smart and perfectly fine. The bedrooms have very comfortable beds. The design of the room was a little basic but had good bathrooms, even though only showers are available. The noise level from outside was minimal and does not cause any problems. All in all, this 3 star offers outstanding value for money . Book it. Tips. From the airport get the 90k bus as this drops you virtually by the hotel. Back to the airport get the same 90k bus from the same stop. Don't buy a Tallin card as you can get around easily on foot and by bus /tram/ trolley.A book of 10 tickets cost around 6 euros. Whatever you do, find time to visit the Prison.Bus 21 takes you nearby or it's about a 15 min walk.It costs 2 euros and is the best self excursion ever.The prison closed in 2005 and if in England ,health and safety would let you nowhere near.You will spend at least 2 hours and in all that time we met one more person.After going around the prison find the bar set in the sand at the front and watch the cruise ships go by through barbed wire.Bring a torch!!!!! 더 보기

The hotel is about the closest to the ferry that there is in Tallin. But that leaves it a bit of a walk from the city center. Rooms are large by European standards and service was good. The hot water worked well with no delay waiting for it. Room has a stove, refridgerator and sink but no dishes. Bed comfort was average.

to be recommended, very central, good size rooms and really good value for money. Neighbourhood was good with an interesting new area next to it. We took the room with the sauna for little extra money and were very happy with it.

The breakfast was uninspiring and a little odd. Too many herring options, and the coffee wasn't up to standards. In general this was a nice hotel, the rooms were adequate and the location was great. We had a great deal on the room and felt that it was worth the money we spent.

Room was spacious. No tea/coffee making facilities. Buffet breakfast was good with plenty of food. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Location is close to shopping mall, 10min walk from ferry terminal, close to central bus station to catch airport bus and a short 10min walk to Old Town.

Televisio ei näyttänyt kunnolla yhtään Suomen kanavaa kunnolla. Muuten hyvä perushotelli, jonne voimme palata.

ich war nur zwei Übernachtungen im Hotel. das Personal war freundlich, das zimmer war sehr modern und schön eingerichtet, überhaupt das ganze Hotel machte einen sehr guten Eindruck. die Lage ist sehr zentral, bis in die Altstadt hat man ca. 5-8 min zu Fuss. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Huone oli siisti vaikka varustetaso on peruslaatua. Kuudenteen kerrokseen ei kuulunut kadulta mitään ääniä. Huoneessa oli vain todella tunkkainen ilma vaikka kokeilin yhtenä päivänä jättää ikkunan tuuletusasentoon. Aamupala oli myös kohtuu suppea mutta maukas. Näistä puutteista huolimatta aion majoittua tänne uudestaan :)

Kulunut, nukkavieru ja kaikin puolin ei -fressi. Liikematkalla hätäiseen yhden yön nukkuu jos hinta on tärkeä, mutta never perheen tai romanttisen seuran kanssa.

Хороший отель! Мы ездили втроем и просили номера рядом. Нам предоставили смежные номера, которые разделены дверью- стоит открыть ее и ты уже в соседнем номере!

Hotel Metropol sijaitsee lähellä satamaa, suuria kauppakeskuksia ja vanhaa kaupunkia. Kävellen pääsi hyvin perille ja taksilla vähän pidemmälle todella edullisesti.

Hotel Metropol ligger rett utenfor gamlebyen i Tallinn. Det tok oss 10min å gå inn til hjertet av gamlebyen, og 10min å gå til et strort shoppingssenter i Viru st. Altså noe for ein hver smak. Ellers tok det ca 10min med taxi til Estlands største shoppingssenter, Rocca al Mar, som ligge rett med Tallinn Zoo. Rommet er fint, men du får ikkje meir enn […] det du betaler for. Likevel er ikkje dette noe problem. Ikkje noe støy eller bråk som holder deg våken om nettene - tross strippeklubb rett bak hotellet. Rommet ble rengjort hver dag. Ellers er servicen tipptopp, resturanten og baren er heilt greit, og hotellet har ein beauty salong. Hvis noe skal trekke ned den allover positive inntrykket eg fekk av hotellet når eg kom, må det vera frokosten. Samtidig koste ikkje frokost på ein cafe/resturant allverden, så det var ikkje krise. Hyvä hotelli sataman ja vanhankaupungin välissä, isot ja siistit huoneet, hvyä hinta-laatusuhde.

Veldig skuffet over hotellet, elendig frokost. Rommet ble ikke vasket eller stelt. Måtte hente håndkler i resepsjonen selv. Dessuten var det veldig tett luft i rommet uten mulighet for å lufte, heller var det ingen aircondition. Og dobbeltsengen var to enkeltsenger satt sammen, ikke særlig romantisk det da! Absolutt ikke å anbefale!

Hotel Metropol ligger lige udenfor bymuren i det gamle havneområde, og er perfekt til et par dage i Talinn. 10 minutter fra luften, 15 minutters gåafstand til biografen, butikker, restauranter og seværdigheder. Rent, enkelt og godt hotel til en meget rimelig pris.

Завтрак в отели в раб дни до 10.00. мы пришли на завтрак в 09.40, а в 09.45 со столов стали уже все убирать и к 09.55 не было даже кофе. Впечатление скажем не очень, и пришлось кофе ехать пить в другое кафе. Но, надеюсь, что это было только в тот день.
