This was my second stay. I am convinced this will be the place to stay for the rest of the time my son is at ASU. There will be lots more to come> Thanks to the wonderful staff. Jackie and family!

Nicely located, clean, and modern. Our mattress wasn't the best, but not the worst we've experienced either. Great staff and friendly folk.

This hotel is in an odd location. While it isn't far from anything, it also isn't really close. There is only one restaurant in walking distance. There are a lot of restaurants one mile to the west or east. The hotel is a good value but you need to have a vehicle. It is a nice place in a nice neighborhood.

Overall it was a very nice hotel. There was an issue with dates of check in as I booked through an outside source but the hotel personell helped us get it straightened out fast so I could stay there.I do not recommend using an outside source for booking. Instead just call the hotel itself and you will eliminate the middle man and save more money.

There was used dirty plastic Forks and other trash in the cabinets. Our bed was held up in the middle by 6-8 books. The staff was nice but I was very upset.

The staff was wonderful however the room I stayed in the bed was so lumpy I didn't get any sleep the two nights I was there.

This hotel was great for the price perfect for families!

We arrived in Tempe at 1:00 in the morning and checked into another hotel (which I shall not name) After pulling back the sheet and seeing blood sucking bugs crawling in the bed we checked out and slept in our car. The hotel Hawthorne Suites in Tempe, Arizona provided great amenities, a very helpful staff, and a wonderful breakfast buffet!

The staff was amazing and the breakfast was great.

While the outside of the building has a new facade, don't let this fool you. The inside is an old building. This is a typical foreign owned dump. The bed was worn out. Pillow cases were see thru they were so old. Noise outside from traffic was intolerable. We woke up at least twice an hour and could not even attempt to sleep past 5 AM when traffic […] started. I stayed in the king suite with kitchen and I was very happy with the quality of the room and customer service checking up on me a couple hours into my stay. Great price great people!

Breakfast was suprisingly good and you cannot beat the price. Location is a bit difficult but well worth it.

We were in town to attend the Tempe Ironman. The location of the hotel was just a short drive from the ASU campus, which was convenient. The room was comfortable and ample sized for two adults. I agree this is not the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at, the breakfast was not the tastiest, however, for the price I have no complaints, the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and modern and the location made it fairly easy to get to the places I needed to be. I will stay here again.

Loved the size of the room. It was nice to have a kitchen but would have liked a burner or two - it does come with a large counter, microwave and refrigerator. Everything about the hotel was good. There just wasn't enough places to eat close by(none). The hotel had a good breakfast and everyone was friendly.

The Hotel is clean, friendly staff and right off the freeway for grat access. Not much around it, but that makes it quiet.

The outside of the motel is awesome! I was expecting a first class room...it was not. The bathroom needs updated and LARGER. The door was on backwards so there for hard to get in and around the toliet to close the door. It seemed like older apts. turned into a motel.

I read the other reviews and wondered if I want to stay at this hotel. Well iqnore the other reviews. The service was great. The room are very nice! The only thing I would change would be to add flat screen tvs. Great price, great location, great value for your money. I will be staying there again!

The overall experience was more than satisfactory, especially after having read previous reviews. We did not encounter hardly any of the negativity expressed by others. The staff was very helpful and friendly, responding to every need. The pool was not as clean as it could have been but a dust storm had just gone thru the night before we used it! The […] rooms were clean and comfortable. They did not have pay-per-view movies as advertised, the TV's were older but functional and the VCR hooked up to the TV was, of course, useless. The only real complaint was the bathroom shower. You could take a very HOT shower or a scalding hot shower, no cool or tepid water at all. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast buffet so cannot comment on that amenity. All in all, it was an enjoyable stay and we would use this facility again. 더 보기

The service at the Hawthorn Suites was amazing! The front desk adhered to everything they could control. Unfortunately, the temperature and working A/C was out of their control. It was hot, hot, hot, and stuffy in our room. Other than that, the location isn't bad and we had a good stay, but get this fixed...

The pool is way too small & was dirty. I wasn't too happy with my overall stay but it was extremely convenient to the hospital that my mother was hospitalized at. The hotel appears run down.

We really enjoyed out stay. The staff was professional and helpful. The room was clean, big and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Our kids loved the pool.

It took five hours for our room to cool off it took four rooms to get the right one.

The people were very nice at this hotel so I feel bad writing a bad review but our stay was not quite as expected. They were doing some construction in the main breakfast room so it looked unsanitary. The pool looked nothing like the picture online. It was 10 times smaller and very dirty. They were out of everything for the continental breakfast and […] not because we got there late but because they were out of stock. No butter, cream cheese for bagels, or cereal. It was slim pickings. Also our air conditioning didn't work one night due to electrical problems they were fixing. the outside is pretty ugly, dsnt look nice from the outside, the stairways were ugly, the vending machines were broken................ However the room itself was HUGE, had a livingroom w/ a couch & 2nd tv, a kitchenette, the bed was huge & very comfortable. I would recommend this place soley based on the price & the size & comfort of the room.

Just off of the highway which was convenient, although a little noisy. The bed was not very comfortable. The room had a microwave and refrigerator which would be handy for a longer stay. The pool was very small, but it was too cold for us to try the water. The breakfast included eggs, bacon, hashbrown patties and the typical continental fare. ...new system...caused delays in both check-in and check-out.

The hotel itelf was fine, the people were nice and met some great folks in the lobby who were there to catch baseball's spring training. A little confusing getting into the hotel lot depending on which direction we were driving. More than a few burned out lightbulbs in the room and plenty of out of order signs throughout.

The hotel looks presentable on the surface but once we got into the room, it was obvious that things were falling apart, literally. the ceiling was leaking, subsequently the carpet on one whole side of the room was drenched, the AC turned off after 30 secs (might have had something to do with the moisture from the leak near its outlet) and the end table […] toppled over because one leg was broken. We were promised a discount on the room but the owner said hotels.com had to contact him directly since i booked with the site and not him. Been trying to reach him ever since but he's conveniently not there and now he's "out of town" for a week even after messages telling him about needing to contact him. He did not leave a note with his staff so that they could take care of it in his absence. I will not be visiting this establishment again. 더 보기

The night clerk was cordial (I checked in late) and then it goes down hill from there. One of the 2 televisions was all static. In the morning, I learned the toilet handle had a piece broken off. The faucet on the bathroom sink leaked out of the handle with almost as much force as the faucet itself. When I went to shower, I found a used towel thrown […] over the curtain rod. After that I could not decide whether my bed had fresh sheets or not. Oh, and the pigeon coos through the bathroom vent were interesting as well. Breakfast also tasted about a day old. I give credit that they did have a sign stating that not all rooms were cleaned, but it was half hidden by the fake flower arrangement at the front desk and it was facing toward the hall as opposed to the entrance for those checking in. Needless to say I did nnot notice it until checking out the next morning. But even still, the hotel was not THAT busy; wasn't anybody available to identify the uncleaned rooms and leave those vacant? For what I paid, I felt like Motel6 has more bang for your buck. Fortunately, it was only one night, so most of the problems were not discovered until morning. 더 보기

Hotel was well located and very clean. The staff was friendly, there was a complimentary full buffet breakfast each morning, and the bed was comfortable with high quality bedding and pillows. I was very comfortable there and thought it an excellent value.

My stay at the hotel was not at all what I expected. The picture on the website was very misleading, my room was dirty, the bathtub was so disgusting that i couldn't even take a shower. I realize that this is an older hotel however if the website is going to show it as new they may want to do some updating, I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.
