Loved our condo for the weekend - it was great

I was pretty disappointed in the service at the hotel as well as the upkeep of the property. We made a notation with the online booking agent so they knew we needed in early if possible due to having an infant. There was no notation in their records and we had to wait 90 minutes to get in. The property itself needs an update. The facilities were old […] but the custodial staff kept them as clean as they could. For the amount paid they could be upgrading the facilities. This hotel should have a much higher rating. Everything was luxury---except the coffe bar never opened while I was there. It is off the roadway and right on the lake---very secluded and extremely quite and private. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Walls are thin could hear our neighbors three different times at different times through the night, this kept my wife awake. Someone yelling about one in the morning trying to get into a room. Otherwise good.

The Country Club hotel is dated and not well maintained. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable, the walls were thin, and the desk staff were courteous but not particularly helpful.

Not so friendly or helpful. Room was musty smelling and air conditioning very loud.

The facility was comfortable and clean. The rooms were a bit worn and dated. The pools were averages but clean. The outside tennis courts were a bit tired as well. The breakfast was very good. Didn’t eat any other meals there so wouldn’t know about those. We didn’t plan on doing anything on the lake and a lake view wasn’t important so the location worked […] out fine for us. This hotel is overpriced, but so are many hotels in the Lake of the Ozarks area. We had a jr. suite and it had a nice couch/chair arrangement, but could have really used a coffee table. The bed was a bit too firm for me, and the pillows were like puffs of nothing... need to be replaced. A DVD player would have been a nice touch, and a TV in the bathroom […] was a little odd but nice while I applied makeup. It would have also been nice to have a microwave in the room. It did have a good little fridge. They have a spa, but it is so hidden away we didn't know if we could go in.... not very available to visit. The room was spacious however, it needed serious updating. We felt like we stepped back into the 80's. For the price we paid, we expected a lot more. We had breakfast at the resturant and for the price the portions were huge. Overall food was ok.

The front desk person was great as well as the house keeping staff, however the building and rooms haven't been updated in some time. It very much reminded me of a place out of an 80's movie. It could be great with some major updating. It was very close to the highway and was quite.

The location is excellent. Wonderful view. Well kept grounds and hotel. Junior suite is wonderful, bathroom needs to be thoroughly cleaned (especially the tile grout) and upholstery in general needs to be addressed, there are some stains. Employees are very nice and polite. Restaurant has good food at reasonable prices.

Very impressed with the room, we had a balcony with table and chairs, which we did use to view the beautiful trees and sky. The room was larger than a rooms in hotels we normally stay in, which was nice. Great location for a small conference. Only negative is they allow smoking in the hotel restaurant/bar. The choices on the menu appeared attractvie. However, we never tried it because of the smoking. The indoor pool is HUGE and would be great for swimming laps but they need to paint a blue stripe along the bottom to help with flip turns. We went to the Lake of the Ozarks just to get away for a few days. We had a junior suite at this hotel and it was great for us. I was a little surprised at the mini kitchen as I hadn't expected it. There was an eating area and a small refridgerator. A small microwave would have been nice, but we weren't there long enough for this stay to really need […] one. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but it just depends on the person. The bathroom will probably need to be updated in the near future, but it was fine for us. It was located further from the places we went than I would have liked, but that isn't the hotels fault!! The location is away from alot of the busiest parts of the lake, which I liked. 더 보기

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a two-room villa. The price was definitely too good to be true. There was trash on the floor throughout the Villa when we checked in, the dishes were put away dirty, and the refrigerator would not stay cold. The front desk service was not helpful. We had a parking pass for the marina and they failed […] to tell us that we needed a card to get in the gate. I called the front desk and they were going to make us drive all the way back up to get it until I asked them to bring it to us. Once she was there with the card, she opened the gate and got ready to leave when we had to inform her that we also needed it to get on the dock and out of the marina. She didn't know what she was doing. We had rented a boat for that day and we weren't able to board until 30min after they were there to pick us up. They were not apologetic or even friendly, they acted like we were an inconvenience. The rooms are also incredibly out-dated (I'm not usually a stickler about these things but the furniture was dirty). All-in-all, we had a great time - but that is because we didn't spend any time in our room except to sleep and shower. 더 보기

carpets had yellow stains and grease marks. bathroom door was to hard close. it took about 4hours to cool the room down.

Prior to reading this review, please note that I am a satisfied customer, however I am only critiquing what I found to be either inadequate or lacking completely. I realize that some of the complaints below are very trivial and/or meaningless to some people. Being this is "my" review, I feel that I should at least provide that disclaimer. Read on- The […] villa that we were booked for was significantly dated. The furniture was aged, stained, and smelled very strange. There were electrical wires and cable wires very chaotically stapled to the walls. The room was very spacious and as clean as could be, but the room was in dire need of a renovation. I was so upset with the quality of the room, I downgraded our room to a junior suite which was located in the main building. This was a great room, and we were very pleased with the junior suite's decor and cleanliness. The amenities were nice, but still very dated. The equipment desk was lacking 90% of the equipment used for raquet ball and tennis. This was very unexpected considering the star rating given to this establishment. I found the cost of the room service to be extremely expensive, especially considering the lack of variety to chose from. (For example, a bottle of Asti Spumanti Champagne cost 40 dollars including tip and surcharges). There were wireless routers scattered around the building and mounted to ceilings with flashing blue lights and wires hanging chaotically. I felt that it was very tacky and could be improved by simply cleaning up some wires. The staff was helpful, but they did not seem to have a friendly attitude a majority of the time. I felt as though I was bothering them if I called or asked a simple question. Ultimately, I did enjoy my stay, and I will visit again. Awesome hotel. Room was immaculate. Service was excellant. Hated to leave. Business center was a big help.

The 2 bedroom villa was very spacious. The full kitchen was an unexpected bonus. The unit was clean, but smelled a bit musty.

The hotel itself was very nice and was a great price! The rooms were very nice and big. The only inconvenience was that the pool hours were only until 8pm and you had to check-in and have staff let you in the pool. Also, the kids were not allowed to use any inflatables in the pool. Bad bed, needs painted, maintained better, lawn mowed, etc. Okay but won't go back.

Spa was okay. Lawn was past needing cut, pool area was not clean, walls in hotel needed touched up badly. Patched holes in ceilings...etc. Room was spacious, bed was HORRIBLE. Sank like a hammock! Pillows were bad. Would not stay here again.

Pools were nice. Stayed in a Villa and the bed was extremely old and uncomfortable.

We ended up not staying at the hotel. The entrance way to the guest rooms was not very clean. The mirrors in the elevators were smeared. The room had an odor, and the decor was outdated, and pretty pathetic.

My significant other and I went to this hotel for my birthday and we were pleasantly surprised. We were quite satisfied at the elegance of the hotel and the friendly staff. We actually regretted only staying for one night! We will definitely go back, for sure. The only complaint I have is the hotel's location is kind of out of the way from the main […] attractions of the Lake of the Ozarks. The hotel is older, but very nice. Staff was friendly, of course we stayed in a villa.Had access to "private pool" in villa area, seemed nice including the mallards that reside by the pool and in the pool. Overall the villas are nice. Hotel was nice, no breakfast is offered only the restaurant, so make plans for breakfast. Area is SO pretty!!

The draw back that we had was the desk clerk was very rude at check in and I had to call the desk once but no answer at all. I let it ring and ring but still no answer. The hotel itself was very nice and the room was quiet. We did have to walk a long distance to the room too.

I absoluty love everything about this hotel and plan on staying here everytime i come to the ozarks this is the best hotel

The hotel had numerous entertainment options and was located in a very beautiful setting. Staff was very friendly and willing to help.
