In general the Motel was not bad. It had a few issues.1) no plug for bath tub. 2) The tub drain was filthy (after strainer was removed and appeared that this area has never been cleaned). 3) The boiled eggs were ice cold at all times.4) a nice flat panel TV but had no access to HDMI Ports that you could watch your own media or play your own games. Hotel was in an excellent location and good for the price.

We just returned from vacation. This is not your typical Ramada Inn. Really needs a good cleaning and renovation. Independently owned. Poor customer service. The day we were leaving, we got a call from the front office at 11:37 am telling us it was time to "Get out." My husband and son were loading our car. The check out time was noon. The young man […] was very rude. (It was not the manager.) Ten mintes later - there was another call reminding us to "Get out." This was unacceptable as we checked out in plenty of time and did not appreciate the tone nor the language used by the office attendant. Maybe it is because they don't speak good English or they frankly just don't care about their customers. This was just the tip of the iceberg! 더 보기

For the price I've paid to book this hotel for a very close family friend and business partner, this is more than embarrassing. The management leaves this hotel in shambles. The management needs to be changed and the hotel seriously considered for a "face lift" to include hygienic sterilization. I wish i had made a better choice but based on my previous […] experiences with Ramada chain of hotels, the least expected was a lousy lodging condition to offer to our friend. This is the top hotel on my NOT TO GO TO list. Outrageous for the money i've paid and a tremendous damage to Ramada and Hotels.com partnership. If it wasn't 1.30 AM when checking in my friend and business partner would have left immediately. I will always regret for making this hotel choice and truly hope that this terrible inconvenience won't affect my relationship with a true friend and great business partner. This place is very ghetto. The neighborhood is scary, the parking lot is set up weird, the breakfast was a joke. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else...anywhere else but here!!!! Terrible!!!

Not at all pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel. Very dirty and not well taken care of. Probably the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in.

We stayed for a week and it was great friendly staff great room don't listen to what these people wrote we enjoyed it

The room smelled awful upon entering, had to buy room deodorizer to make it tollerable, maid did not show up to room until very late in afternoon every day. Left towels with chunks of hair in them in restroom as clean. Felt unclean during entire stay and had it not been for me paying in advance, with a no cancelation policy I would have found some place […] else to stay! 더 보기

I was concerned because this hotel was given bad reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. For the price it was not bad. The hotel is centrally located between the beach in Clearwater and about 15 min to the airport. Continental breakfast each morning was very nice.If you needed something or something was broken it was fixed right away. The rooms are dated […] and need updating but they are clean.The beds were comfortable and the shower was clean.There was a pool outside with a small jacuzzi.It is on a main road so you hear some traffic.It was not bad enough to keep us awake. Served my purpose. I travelled from the east coast of FL to perform for the Clearwater Jazz Fest. All I needed was a bed, A/C, shower, TV with cable, a coffee-maker, peace and quiet. I got that along with a fridge, Basic and good. The bathroom is old but adequate. It's by no means a luxury stay, but I wasn't expecting that. The grounds, pool and jacuzzi […] were well maintained. The black-out curtain kept the sun out and allowed me to sleep late. Thick concrete walls so no worries about noisey neighbors. There's no room service, but the front desk was accomodating. I would recommend this hotel... clean room, and the bed was VERY COMFORTABLE.... the only thing wrong with the room was the TV, it was a little dark and old... but the pool and hot tub were very nice... I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

not a bad place, close to the beach and stores

We stayed at the Ramada for 4 nights arriving from Naples and the Keys. We stayed in Florida for a month seeing different areas and this was the worst Motel we stayed in, surprised Ramada would put their name by it. Room smelt very damp, needs a little bit of a revamp. One night 4 police cars were outside at 1am looking under cars. Felt a little unsafe […] after that and on edge, not hotels fault but put me off location. Didn't like it. the photo's look great but it was so shabby we stopped only one night, not the three we paid for. Told there was no chance of any refund. This was our first night ever in the USA, and if we weren't jet-lagged after 14 hrs travel I wouldn't even botherd to check in. The room itself was clean and adequate for our stay. We were parked in by a car and went to the main desk twice to complain about not being able to leave. The manager said there was nothing he could do about it because he didnt know who parked there. After waiting 30 min. we layed on our horn for 15 min at 9am and finally someone came out to move the […] car. We waisted 45 min. of our day and bothered many guests because of poor management. I was glad that when I made the trip to Florida for my mom's Memorial service that my wife did not come with me. If she had stayed at the Ramada where I stayed she would have been sick. The room was must. The door frame going into the bathroom was busted and the door was dirty and stained. I think some hotels equate affordable with cheapness soso they do not ensure service is always excellent. This was my first stay at this Ramada Inn in Clearwater, and I can honestly say that I was extremely happy with the hotel! It is very well-maintained, quiet and conveniently located to everything that I needed. I stayed there for a week, and it had all of the comforts of home! Excellent!

Hotel clerk was very nice. But the rooms dont look like they do in the picture. Some remodeling would help. For my short stay..it was okay.

This place is a dive. The owners are greedy and don't care about customer service at all. During our stay the bedspread was covered in some else's blood, the wallpaper was flaking off of the wall, the bathroom toliet began to leak so bad we used all of the towels in the room to soak it up and the water flooded the bathroom and the entire hotel carpet. […] Our luggage got moist and wet and we went to get our money back due to not being able to stay the whole night...well they refused to give us money back and we left at 1 a.m. to which they said "ok see ya." This was a great room for the money we spent

The hotel was okay. The location was Great!!!Very close for to the beach.

The room was what we expected. Clean and maid service was good. Need soap dish in shower fixed as it had come off wall. Was what we required for our stay as we were attending a wedding and were not there for most of the time. Pool was well kept and we enjoyed it as a releif from the heat. This hotel is privately owned. The pictures are not of the actual hotel but of appears to be a much nicer hotel. The hotel was much farther from the beach than indicated, and the staff was absolutely rude. The neighborhood is less than to be desired. Overall I would not recommend that anyone stay here.
