When I first got there, the room they game me, you could not lock the door when you left. It was a good thing that I checked this because the doors were open to the outside, no security, other than cameras. They had to change my room, also there were broken mirrors in both rooms that I had. I will not stay there again in the future.

I was embarrassed that I brought my girlfriend to this place. Next time I'm paying more attention to the ratings of others. The pictures really make this place look a lot nicer than it is.

Great for the price and location

There were exposed nails on the floor between bathroom and carpeted area. Informed hotel staff but it was not taken care of by the time we left. On last night cleaning person came at 6 pm when we were getting ready to go to dinner. There was popcorn on the floor of bathroom when we checked in. We requested they not use again and they didn't- it smelled pretty dank so the perfume was there to cover a problem. For the price it was about what I expected given the location. I was there for a week.. Everything so far is okey. But the room condition is not good. I just don't like that point.

Feet turned black walking on carpets. Can hear plumbing from all adjacent rooms. Doors to attached rooms paper thin. No ironing board.

Please do not be fooled by the first 2-3 good reviews that will pop up on your screen, this is an awful motel: dirty, old and badly maintained. The carpeting on the stairs and in our room was not even once vacuumed during our entire stay, there were holes in the blankets, spiders in the bathroom, traces left by the last guests on the tables, etc. The […] worst inn we have stayed at in the US. This is one of the most run down hotels I have ever stayed in. The location is misleading as it is NOT a pacific view at all other then a painted wall in the garage area. The staff at the hotel was wonderful! There were some minor adjustments that could have been made to the room to make it slightly more comfortable, but the staff was so accomodating that I would definitely recommend this to others!

From reading the on-line info I was led to believe that the hotel was located near the pier which would be in the center of town and walking distance to many of the attractions. It was a good 5 minute drive to the center of town. There was no view of anything and it was full of construction workers. We stayed here june 19 the place was honestly worst place I've ever stayed. It smelled like mold in the room and the mini fridge was on a block so it didn't leak the place was a less than average the best thing about this place tho is the mexican restraint across the street

It was a roof over my head and a clean bed to sleep in, but I wouldn't stay here for more than one night. It met my needs perfectly, which was simply a place to sleep for one night close to Huntington Beach, but I wouldn't stay for an extended period.

Loved the conveniece of walking to the beach. On Saturday there was a wonderful farmer's market just a block down from the hotel. Had a relaxing and refreshing time!

This hotel needs a make over.. the light over our sink didn't work.. we talked to front desk , they said they would fix it.. when we returned it still didn't work The sink sat so low, it's like they put us in a room for a handycapped person. . we also had an ant problem wasn't due to food being left out because we didn't have any food to leave out.. […] I would not recommed this hotel to anyone . 더 보기

Wonderful comfortable beds, great location for walking to the beach or out to eat. Captain Jack's Resturant excellent and close, easy walk.

this place was absolutely horrible! after checking in we had to drag our suitcases on a third floor because this hotel doesnt have an elevator. but it wasnt a big issue for us! the worst part was that our room was full of ants, they were everywhere: in bed, crawling on our laptop, etc. we called the front desk and told them what the problem was but […] they kept saying that they dont have ants, we were like..ya you do...we didnt bring them with us from Colorado! after inspecting our room and looking in a trash can full of ants bodies and they still saying that they dont have any ants. they didnt have any other rooms and were trying to accuse us of brining ants into the room! so we had to call hotels.com and customer servive rep was pretty amazing, they refund our money and we payed a little bit extra for a way better hotel. You cant even walk to the beach from this hotel, there is a big tall wall which blocks access to the beach for couple miles. Room was pretty nasty itself (holes in blankets, ugly walls, water doesnt get hot for 20 minutes after you turn it on) but we didnt expect too much for the price. maybe the owners will admit to themself that they DO have problem and will follow our advice and hire an exterminator. Parking is quite tight, but for a decent no frills stay at the beach it was fine. The room was very clean seemed freshly painted, had new granite counter tops, full directv. and a microfridge. The carpets and furnishings were a bit threadbare but all in all a good room for the expense.

This hotel was recommended to me and I went ahead and booked it because it was getting late and I needed somewhere to stay. Being as I live two thousand miles away I went on hearsay that it was a good hotel. Its horrible. The internet access is very limited and very slow. There's no elevator so you have to drag all your luggage up the narrow stairway. […] The floor in the room isn't level, so there's a big piece of wood holding up one side of the refridgerator. They advertise their in room spa tub, but the plug for the tub is broken. The mirror has a giant crack all the way through it. Only one of the three lamps works, and only one outlet works to charge a phone. The rooms are connected, but even if they weren't it would still be so loud here as every time someone in any room flushes a toilet it sounds like there's water running right by your head. The light by the door is motion activated (I think) but it keeps randomly turning itself on and off. The pillow cases are the nastiest I've ever seen. You can see the stains from someone's greasy hair all over them. It looks like a day old fast food bag soaked in grease. And to top it all off, there's no chain on the door. So I'm traveling far from home, alone, unfamiliar with the area without the added security of a simple chain on the door. DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL. THERE'S ANOTHER ONE HALF A BLOCK AWAY FOR THE SAME PRICE THAT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER. 더 보기

Very friendly staff, great rates, big rooms, quite and very close to lots of resturants and bars in seal beach, sunset beach and huntington beach. Right across the street from the beach. have stayed here about 5 times and never had any problems and the staff has always been great to use. Im from the area and have stayed at many of the local hotels and […] this by far is one of the better ones in the area for the price. if your looking for a place to stay in the area for a good price and good room then this the spot. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy. It did have a fridge and micro...so that was helpful. The only down side to this place is we were on the 3rd floor and no elevator...that was a bit tiring...especially having to carring items to our room. So i did get some extra work out in there...no choice! I would staty there again. The staff was ok

And everything is in walking distance of the Pacific View Inn and Suites. We enjoyed walking on the beach and along the boardwalk, as well as the docks and marina, plus the fact that there were plenty of restaurant choices in easy walking distance!

Very nice place for the price, nothing fancy, but the room has upgraded amenities and I was able to sleep soundly with the windows open.

My wife and I stayed here for a two-night trip to Huntington Beach to visit a friend. Overall, the hotel met our needs just find, particularly for the relatively low cost. The hotel is in a fairly nice area, sufficiently close to restaurants (in walking distance) as well as the beach. This is definitely a no-frills hotel. I think it's a mom-and-pop […] operation, in fact. The "mom" checked us in. She was perfectly polite and gave me a small bag containing some toiletries, which was helpful. Our room was on the third floor, which was fine -- except the place has no elevator and, far as I can tell, no one to help you with your bags. We were traveling light and are in reasonably good shape, so going up and down stairs during our stay wasn't that big a deal. But if you've have trouble carrying or walking, you might want to find another place to stay - or request a room on a lower floor. The room itself was pretty large, clean, and sufficiently comfortable, and including a TV (with cable), a small fridge, a coffee maker, and an air conditioning unit. Oddly, I thought, there was no clock. The bathroom, too, was clean but met our needs just fine: toilet and a bath/shower. (We stayed in the low-end room with the queen bed. I guess other rooms have spa baths.) The place has free wireless Internet, though it's password protected. I wish they had told me that and had given me the password when I checked in, just as a courtesy. There's no snack machine on the premises, far as I could tell, though there is a drink machine as well as a pay washing machine and dryer. Check-out was a bit awkward: We left early in the morning, around 6:00 or so. I went to the front desk and no one was there. I rang the bell a couple of time and no one came down. They had a sign saying there was a $10 fee for losing the key, so I ended up sliding it under the protective glass window that separated me from the front desk. Close to shopping and restaurants, definitly just a hotel for sleeping and then leaving, Staff was friendly, parking cators to small suvs or cars, is old building so it has a old musty smell to it, could have been cleaner..

I was not happy at all with the lack of parking and no internet usage during my time of stay.

The address is Huntington but it should be seal beach because it was about 7 miles to Huntington. The room was spacious but the tub was in the middle of the room and there were stains on a few things. The room was very old but the bed was comfortable.

Hotel is old but clean and the staff was very pleasant. I needed a room due to intense training and for the price, I was pleased. It was quiet and convenient to the base and very affordable.

So i happen to stay here for a day getaway and a close place by the beach. I do have to say for the price it was a good hotel. I didnt see anything bad about it. I like the fact there is a sushi bar right by it which is pretty good and a few bars like a block away and so is the beach

Outdated! Not close to the beach as the hotel states!! Like the old saying "you get what you pay for!!!" Nice people that work there!! Didn't sleep at all!!!

The Hotel is a small place with around 15-20 rooms total, which made it nice and quiet. The parking is not 'large vehicle' friendly as it has underground parking and the spaces are big enough for midsize cars. I have a Ford F150, crewcab, longbed and although there were spaces out front, my truck could only fit in 3 spaces at the most. Granted, I know […] that it is an oversize vehicle, but, there were several trucks staying there on our particular weekend. I was however, lucky enough that I was able to get the same spot for three days, despite being there on a busy, summer weekend. We chose the King Bed, Queen Sleeper and jacuzzi tub room and the rate was nice considering the location being so close to the beach ( within walking distance, but across very busy PCH ). Our main complaint was that the shower/jacuzzi tub was smack in the middle of the room, open, no doors, in plain sight with no privacy except for the shower curtain. The room for a couple or people your comfortable being naked in front of was fine, but I was there with my wife and pre-teen daughters, so this was a bit difficult in having to get undressed and dressed in the tub ! The 'potty' area was very small, so using this as a place to dress was not possible. The room also had a kitchenette that had room for this, but I also had to use this area as a place for our air mattress -- more on that below. Our second dilemna was that the advertised 'queen' sleeper was a 'twin' sleeper. This would have made for a miserable two days (someone would have had to sleep on the floor ) as only one person could sleep on the sleeper. I had, in case of emergency, brought a blow-up mattress ... and thank God I did. I used the kitchenette area for this as the rest of the room did not have an area large enough for this. The two worst issues were: The floor hasn't had a good washing in YEARS ... within a few steps of walking barefoot, your feet would turn BLACK ! This hotel was a very clean and comfortable hotel. There is no elevator but was easy to stay at. It was a little tricky to find, but the view from the balcony was amazing. The ocean was right there. This hotel was fine for what we needed it for....a place to crash after attending a friend's birthday party. It definitely needed to be updated though. I needed to wear sandals to walk around on the carpet because it just felt dirty on my bare feet. Good place to just stay overnight get up And leave. If you want better be prepared to shell out the big $$$$$$$$

The hotel is old but the location is great. The beach is a block away and if you have a room in either the front or back you can see water. The shower was really great with a powerful flow for a really good feeling.

This was not the best experience. First off Air condition was broke had to switch rooms middle of night. Floors were so dirty had to lay down towels after getting ready so feet would not turn dirty. Learned this after tured dirty first night. TV didn't work look out window only to see used syringes everywhere! Not sure that many diabetics stayed there. […] Will not return.
