햄프턴 인 샌디에이고 다운타운 (Hampton Inn San Diego Downtown) - 샌디에이고

위치나 객실청결 등은 전반적으로 만족하였습니다. 그러나 주차장이 협소하고 바로 옆에 철도가 있어, 기차가 시도때도없이 지나갑니다. 그것도 경적을 계속울리며...ㅜㅜ 소음이 지금 생각하시는것 이상입니다. ㅎ 조용한 밤을 원하신다면.... 패스하세요..

Trains a little loud, but our room was on that side of the hotel. Otherwise, excellent!!

The railway noises right next to the hotel are outrageous unfortunatey.

Excellent stay! In a great location and great customer service. The train is loud all night, but it's loud all along the downtown area. But they are good about getting people away from the train and it's pretty quiet once you are. Great stay

The hotel itself was great, but it was close to the train and trolley tracks which made for an early (5am) morning.

Elevators need Repair

We really enjoyed our stay once we got used to the train blowing out our ears. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and the best "continental" breakfast ever, no kidding. Pretty good location too. We walked everywhere we went. I would definetly stay here again.

Everything was fine except for the noise, all day and all night from the passing trolley line, light rail trains, Amtrak, and worst of all.... the freight trains that seemed to run all night long! I don't know if the rooms can be sound proofed, but as it is, I never before stayed in such a noisy hotel room, and barely got any sleep before being awaken […] again by the horn of another passing train. 더 보기

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel location was in a great spot to make use of the local transportation (ie, trolley). Complimentary breakfast offered a good variety and was tasty.

It was nice. Only draw back is near the train tracks. However, lots of locations in San Diego are.

Noisy spot in spite of ear plugs but location is a plum. Trains keep one awake but after 3 or 4 nights, you get used to it.

I like hampton inn but the location of this hotel stinks. The train tracks behind the hotel and next to my room is a route for a trains that passed by 3 times. Woke me up every time. If you a looking to get a good nights rest I would recommend going to the hampton inn by sea world

Everyone rates this hotel high - because it truly is clean and well cared for - but they must be very forgiving for the horrible train noise. Trains every 10-30 minutes at night and blowing the horn all through the night. The city needs to move to a horn-free zone at night for tourism. Great Hotel! Great location, great people. They picked us up from the airport in about five minutes time and returned us when we left (probably a six minute drive). They put us in a larger room because we had a small child. They were attentive and even furnished us with a wine bottle opener when we bought a bottle of wine. Great location, great staff, but VERY loud train horns.

I really like this hotel. It's very convienient and near the train station. Just the thing that I believe in my opinion, the breakfast can use a bit of improvement, especially the scrambled eggs. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. Would come back there in a jiffy.

Loved the convenience to Harbor Drive, Little Italy, Gaslamp district, however, the train came by at all hours of the night, loud and distracting.

Great room for the price. Convenient location…able to walk to most gas lamp attractions or take a short cab ride.

very nice hotel, needed it only for sleeping purposes, but the AMTRAK train travels directly behind building. ask for a room in front of building. Very nice hotel otherwise

very convenient to all attractions,cruise ships,airport,downtown, plus the free shuttle. a little noisy when Amtrack train blow their whistle, but hotel supplies you with earplugs.

Location was great. We loved the full breakfast every day. All fresh and excellent food. Also the 24hr coffee/tea and hot chocolate bar. They went out of their way to accomodate us. Transporation also complimentary locally most times we needed it. Free security lockbox easily accessible. And the best thing was the very comfortable bed with clean "every […] day" duvet cover over soft comforter--all white. Nice! The only downside was that it was next to a train depot. Train passing but every 15 mins. Train noise is soo loud that hotel is kind enough to leave two sets of ear plugs on the night stand.

Comfortable. The parking lot was confusing tho. Staff was very friendly. The rooms were nice and clean! :)

This is a nice hotel but it's located right next to the train tracks and all night long trains were running. I would not recommend this if you are a light sleeper. Worst night sleep in years!

This is a great location if you want to see all areas of San Diego, Little Italy, Seaworld, Waterfront, Seaport Village, Petco Field, Coronado Island, Gaslamp Town,Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo. Always love staying at Hampton Inn's. Will always seek them out in a foreign city, because the company is reliable in quality. The location is always convenient, rooms are nice with all amenities, staff is nice, and they have an awesome continental breakfast!!! The only complaint I would have with this particular one is that I could hear every word […] of every neighbors conversation. Wonderful hotel, excellent staff, very comfortable room. But if the clerk hadn't moved us to the front of the building (instead of the back where we were originally destined), it might have been very different. Five train tracks run right behind the building. Management tells us that in a month, the trains will no longer be blowing their horns. A summary of my stay at Hampton Inn: Based on reading reviews of this hotel, I had sent a request to the hotel staff asking via my hotels.com reservation for a room away from the tracks. When I checked in and went up to my room I discovered that the room was literally as close to the tracks as possible. I think it would have been good of Jessica at […] the desk to have acknowledged the note from the reservation and mention that they wouldn't be able to accommodate that request. I was disappointed upon this discovery but thought I'd suck it up and give it a try. Well... unfortunately it was worse than I anticipated. Honestly, I was up all night because of the train whistle. It was truly a living nightmare. Next morning after walking in full zombie mode to the complimentary breakfast with my husband and 2 kids, I asked my husband to speak with the desk staff about a room change for the following 3 nights of our stay. I'm not sure who helped him but the nice young lady at the desk was very helpful and moved us to a room on the opposite end of the hall and was able to get us moved within 5 minutes of the request. What service!! Next 3 nights were fabulous as a result of the room change. Also, we called the desk immediately following the room change where we discovered no refrigerator/microwave was in that room. They had it taken care of immediately. Again, great service. It's unfortunate that the train noise is so problematic because everything else about this hotel is truly great and a remarkable rate for its Little Italy location. Nice breakfast, pool, staff and beds are very comfortable. Parking is quite strange with spaces built for compact cars but we made it work. 더 보기

hampton hotel is not bad only bad thing doesnt have refrigerator in the room and parking is not free

The first hotel I've been so far that provides free ear plugs. The reason - train horns throughout the night.

When we arrived at 10pm to check in we were offered ear plugs because our room was in the back. All night long we heard the train go by. We did not sleep at all. It was very loud- would not stay here again.

Great hotel, good location, pleasant staff, very clean and the breakfast offerings were tasty and varied with healthy options.

The Manager was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to extend every service of his hotel to us. No complaints at all, save that you will hear the train, but that was explained to us and we were given ear plugs. I recommend the hotel to anyone.

The hotel is located near the airport and train tracks, so you can hear the planes arriving and departing as well as multiple trains going by in the morning. Not cohesive to a light sleeper. Additionally, I was unknowingly charged for overnight parking, which I thought was included in the hotel price. it was great to be in downtown but the noise of the train all night was no good. nice hotel but way to loud with the train
