Accomodations were very comfortable. Nice breakfast in the morning. Hotel could have been more in an convenient location in downtown Houston. Need a car to get around. Nice treat every day with cookies and milk.

I came to Houston to go to a game at Minute Maid Park. This hotel is within walking distance of the park, so the free hotel parking really saved on parking there and at the stadium. The hotel was nice and clean. My only complaint is that they were apparently testing the hotel alarm for 30+ minutes in the afternoon without any notice. Really nice room. In walking distance to the Toyota Center. FREE PARKING!!!

spent the night here so we didn't have to drive through the traffic back home after watching the Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson Immortal show at the Toyota Center. It was a bit tricky getting to the hotel since the front parking lot was packed and a lot of the streets to get into the hotel property are one way. We found their back parking lot and […] went to the front desk. Although we didn't use the indoor swimming pool, it did look a bit cloudy to us. Check in was fast and decent. When we went upstairs to our room on the third floor, the smell of cigarettes nearly made us choke. The hallway to the room was just gross. Once we got into our room, it was fine. Very clean and the attendant who cleaned our room had left us mini Milky Way candies. the bathroom was a bit cramped for our taste but it was decent and everything worked. the express breakfast was nice although the orange juice was very watery but the insta-pancake machine was neat and the overall selection was decent. 더 보기

We stayed at this hotel while at a convention. Hotel capacity was totally full. While there, we were not able to get more than a warm shower in the mornings due to the high occupancy rate. There was plenty of hot water in the evening. The room was comfortable and clean with a frig and microwave. Location to the convention center was very convenient, […] about 1 block away. We chose this hotel over the Hilton, which has super convenient sky walk right into the convention center, because of the free breakfast. Breakfast was typical fare for a Holiday Inn Express. Nothing to rave about, eggs biscuits, pancakes, cereal, fruit... Next visit would probably choose the Hilton for the location and the sky bridge, but the frig, microwave and breakfast did make it very convenient for our family. 더 보기

The woman working at the desk took a lot of initiative in providing us information. The hotel was much more attractive and clean than I expected for a Holiday Inn. Our room was very pleasant, didn't feel like a cheap chain, and we could see our car from the window (because parking is more than convenient there).

I was in town for an interview, so I didn't care or pay much attention to local attractions... so I can't comment on those. But the hotel was great. Holiday Inn Express continental breakfast was amazing as always. Indoor pool and hot tub were luxurious. Had their complimentary chocolate chip cookies, which are good. Room was large. Nice TV, in-room […] fridge/sink/full-length mirror. Smelled clean. Shower was hot/good pressure/clean. Bed was cushy and comfortable. The hotel was good but the front disk assistant was not friendly. She refused to give me a receipt because I booked the room using Hotels.com?!

I was pleasantly surprised, the staff were helpful and very friendly and the room was outstanding.

Had a lovely time even though parts of the hotel were being renovated. It is much closer to the Convention Center and NO CHARGE FOR PARKING YOUR CAR!! I walked 2.5 blocks to the Center each day with no problems. The Continental Breakfast was very good, too, with Hot eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. Plenty to choose from cereal and yogurt to the hot stuff. […] Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Oh, did I mention FREE WI-FI, iron and board in room. My only problem was the air conditioner. But it was fixed quickly. 더 보기

The service at the Hotel was great. The breakfast was excellent and ther staff was helpful at all times. My only complaint would be that the hot tub was not working at the time of my stay and that was something I was looking forward to using. The pool was nice and the waterfall relaxing.

The complimentary cookies and milk were a great idea. With the hotel being located in downtown, it provided great convenience and cheap cab fare.

Fantastic rate of $6.00 taxi ride anywhere downtown...free parking..great brfst...comfortable rooms/beds...helpful/professional staff but...hotel "under construction" was an understatement...wet paint and hoisting chandelliers overhead while entering hotel ridiculous to be open with this MAJOR construction...not only unsafe but midleading

Close to Minute Maid Park and Discovery Green able to walk without problems. Some of the male staff kept blatantly staring at my 14 yr old daughter and followed her around hotel lobby and to the pool area, even with my 16 yr old son with her . She was very upset with this behavior. If you're traveling with young girls, stay with them at all times.

Everything was great except that I was constantly being locked out of my room and had to make trips to the front desk every time in order to renew key validity. An unneccessary nuisance.

I enjoyed my stay. The customer service was excellent, the continental breakfast was fresh and tasty. The rooms were accommodating, spacious and clean.

Went to see a Bon Jovi concert, and it was the perfect walking distance!

always a good place to stay, but room was 61 degrees on arrival.

The customer service was fantastic. As I checked in I mentioned to the front desk person that I was starving and if there were any restaurants close by, he handed me a map of local restaurants and offered me free milk and cookies to snack on. That really hit the spot. Also the complementary breakast was delicious.

Hotel front desk staff assured me they would have a taxi available ay 4:30 am to the airport. I waited 15 minutes then asked them again. They said "it will be here in 5 minutes". It never arrived and I asked again, waited and no taxi. I walked 5 mintes to the Hilton where I got a taxi in about 2 minutes but I missed my flight. Great hotel for the conference goer on the cheap, in an A+ location, only 2 blocks from GRB Conference Center. Breakfasts are complimentary and simple. If you dont mind a bit of a walk, the Minute Maid park is a few blocks away and surrounded by restaurants, etc.

Uncomfortable bed, i wake up every morning with sore neck and back. My request for wake up call at 4: A.M. due to my early flight back home did'nt happen. Total # nights stay= 4

It was clean, comfortable and good value for the money. Walking distance to convention centre, shopping and the ball park.

We appreciated finding an affordable hotel in down town Houston that was within walking distance of the Convention Center and conveniently located.

Hotel was very clean and and the clerks were very polite. Breakfast was good, really enjoyed the stay there

The hotel was nice when we checked in. Got to the room and everything was as expected. I took a shower and layed in the bed, whic was worn out. I was walking about in the room from the desk to the bed and so forth. I started feeling a burning sensation on my feet, like athletes foot was setting in. When I looked at my feet they were totally black on […] the soles. Keep in mind, I just took a shower and walked on the floor back and forth in the room and the nasty carpet made my feet black. That freaked me out so I put socks on, and after walking around for a while my socks were black to!!! I've heard of dirty floors, but this is unacceptable. Plus, the part of town we were in, there are signs in the parking lot that say "do not leave valuable in your car" and "not responsible for theft". I asked a local cop who was at the hotel for another reason, and he told me to remove anything that wasn't bolted down or it would get stolen. The hotel was very neat & clean. Indoor pool & hot breakfast is a plus over some of the other hotels in the area. There was minimal to little noise & traffic throughout the hotel.Overall I would recommend this location because it is convenient & staff were very nice.

The location is great - walking distance to the GRB Convention Center. There are a couple of empty lots between the hotel and GRB. The walk however felt very safe even at night.

Our room was lovely and just happened to have a great view of the 4th of July fireworks display. The hotel was very quiet and the location suited our needs well. Lemonade and cookies in lobby in the afternoon!

We had an event at the Toyota Center so this hotel was perfect walking distance.
