This is a really nice hotel in a fabulous spot. You are so close to the major sights(OK so it comes with a minor bit of noise too) and the hotel staff were all lovely and helpful. High charges for a cup of tea for room service though and the accom tax when checking out caught us out as we hadn't read the small print. The breakfasts were continental […] with scrambled aggs, juices(too sweet), bread, cheese, meats, cereals etc. Loved the strong coffee! My only minor gripe was the rock hard and I mean rock hard mattresses and pillows. I think sleeping on my suitcase might have been more comfortable however after a long day you don't notice too much. Hotel was very clean. Staff very a ttentive.The desk clerk went out of his way to correct a misunderstanding re. tickets to David exhibit. They initially got us tickets to the wrong exhibit but but quickly exchanged them for the correct one. Hotel very convenient to all exhibits and good restaurants.

The hotel was in a great location and the room was spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel might have been great, but we are dealing with a nightmare as a result of our stay. When we checked in (with our 7 month old son) we clearly told the staff we needed our car at 4 a.m. to catch our flight. They assured us it would be in front at 3:30. At 3:30, no car. The man at the front desk was useless. He told us the car was locked up (with […] our luggage and car seat inside) and could not be retrieved. After an hour, I finally got him to call the manager but at this point we were so late, there was little possibility to make our flight. I spent the hour in between trying to change our flight, he couldn't provide a phone, so I had to use my cell. End result, they finally got us into the garage but it took a wild cab ride with no car seat to get our luggage and a rush to the airport we made our flight. However, we had to travel home basically in our pjs, unshowered, frazzled, stressed and exhausted. Unfortunately, they refuse to cover any of our additional expenses ($200 in phone charges, 125 euro for no gas in the car, $250 in flight change fees) or even comp our room. While the hotel is great and in a great location, there are other hotels nearby that are just as nice, if not nicer, that have actual customer service. DON'T RISK THIS NIGHTMARE!! 더 보기

The Hotel Pierre is a great find. It is perfectly located, not far from anywhere you want to walk. It is a beautiful hotel. The room and bathroom were beautiful and a good size by European standards. The bed was a little too firm for us, but after walking around Florence all day, you more or less go out right away. The staff was very pleasant, professional, […] and very helpful if needed to find a local restaurant, etc. The breakfast was not too big but it was good. The hotel is right around the corner from a large Piazza and on a couple of nights held concerts, however they were over by 12:00 so the loud music was not a problem for us. You can not beat the location, value and overall service the Hotel Pierre provided us during our stay. Roberto, the reception manager was outstanding providing us with a private tour guide to Sienna, restaurant and shopping recommendations. The hotel's breakfast was a typical European style breakfast with fresh pastries, fruits, cheese and assorted […] breakfast meats. I stayed at the Pierre Hotel 9 years ago and was so happy with everything about the hotel. At that time, the hotel was a private hotel. 9 years later the hotel is now part of a Hotel Chain called Remar Hotel. The housekeeping is okay and the quality of the rooms are fine. Could not be more conveniently located. Stroll to the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, Piazza Republica, excellent restaurants, in five or ten minutes. Fifteen minutes on foot from the train station. Great hotel...great location...allowed us to check in early which was great due to travel. The room was very comfortable and close to everything in the city. Good breakfast in the morning. We would definitely book the Hotel Pierre again in Florence.

Hotel Pierre is rather unexceptional in all aspects except for its location which is great. The staff was helpful but overly so. Our room was rather dreary with a view of a wall. Just the nicest people wait staff desk etc. one light bulb out did not replace and could not etell if the room was airconditioned a bit warm but the nicest hotel I've been in Europe. Would definitely for back to it. My Grandson gaeit a 5 Stgar (after having stayed in paris and Prague last summer.

Great location, Clean and a very nice staff. In the center of everything and all the noise that comes with being in the center of it all. Walking distance to everything you want to see in Florence. Ask for a room in the back if you want quite to sleep. Near a Market that must remove and setup all of there Stands each Day (Before 7AM).

This hotel was pretty good. the location was great, it was very clean, nice rooms. The staff was OK, not the most friendly people, but not rude, but thats how all locals in the service industy treated americans. i would stay here again.

Because we were only spending one night in Florence, we were willing to spend a little more money on a room, and we couldn't have found a nicer, more comfortable hotel. The location was very convenient, the room and bath were very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. After a long train ride to Florence, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised at both the location of the hotel as well as the amenities offered in the room. We feel that we got more than what we paid for. Our one complaint (if you can call it that) would be the size of the shower. It was rather tiny, but the size of the bathroom itself more than […] made up for this. Finally, the location was spectacular. The Hotel Pierre is a nice hotel in an excellent location in Florence. It's close to everything and is reasonably priced. The hotel is clean, neat and well maintained but the rooms are average and are overdue for a makeover. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Our room included breakfast but we chose not to eat breakfast at the hotel after it was dissappointing […] on the first 2 days. The quality of the foods could use some inprovement, especially the fruit. My pet peeve was the TV access. Only 2 English channels and one of those was Fox News. How a hotel in Europe could have Fox News as its only English news channel is incomprehensible to me and having to watch this channel to get news of the outside world while filtering its brand of propaganda was infuriating. The management of this hotel have clearly overlooked this detail which they need to rectify with access to BBC news or another reputiable news channel. 더 보기

While some might consider this hotel to be a bit dated, it was lovely. The room was good sized, by European standards. The location was perfect. We walked to everything. Most of the staff wasn't overtly friendly, but everyone was helpful, polite and knowledgeable.

We spent 3 days at the Pierre and every aspect met or exceeded our expectations. The location can't be beat. It's on a quiet street that really is steps away from literally everything. We found the staff well informed and friendly and the public rooms gracious and comfortable. Our room was well decorated with excellent fixtures including a very comfortable […] bed. The Hotel is in a great location, 5 mins from the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi. Close to shopping too, so its really convenient to drop things off at the Hotel during the day. We recently traveled to all the major cities in Italy. This was our favorite hotel along the way: the rooms were large, the service excellent and the location allowed us to walk to all major attractions. I highly recommend this hotel. The price was somewhat high, but I think worth it.
