definitely worth the price for the location.

The Art Hotel was only a short one-mile walk from main Laguna Beach and five minutes from Crescent Bay (which was even more beautiful, and a little more secluded). Good budge hotel--more like a motel. Staff were courteous and helpful. The location is great, close to the beach. Good value for the money.

I don't know how we do it but it always rains every time we go to the beach. Hotel was nice, stores and gas stations were close. Down town was just down the way, my kids loved it, we will be back in May.

It was so amazing and cool! Loved it.

The pictures are not what they seem. It looks like the rooms have a view of the beach, they dont. my room had a view of the elevator doors. For the price, it was definatley not worth it. it also says they have complimentary breakfast, the have a child size stale danish and child size water & sunny D. It let down for my 1yr anniversary :(

Being my first time booking a hotel near the beach I did my research and noticed that many of the prices for the hotels were reasonable "but" charged you a $20 parking fee and a mandatory $15 interntet fee! Art hotel did not charge any extra fee's and had free parking and was 3 minute walk to the beach. Couldnt praise this hotel more, the lady running it was so kind and extremely helpful in saying what's available in the area, the room was luxury considering the price and the jacuzzi was absolutely brilliant, seal rock is nearby and from the local beach you can hear them. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!!

I liked the hotel, it was clean and pleasant, a quick walk from the beaches, and a mile from town--for me a perfect walk, esp. once I discovered the boardwalk. Downsides--the lobby didn't open till quite late, at least 8 am, which was inconvenient; the room was quite small, esp. for two women; the hair dryer sounded like a train coming through the […] room and woke the people next door (for real!)...otherwise a nice enough and affordable place to stay. The hotel was comfortable and clean. Even though it was situated on Coast Highway, I never heard any noise. Staff was accomodating. Unfortunately, I came down with a cold and cough which became Bronchitis. Not due to the hotel :)

The manager and wife were witty and fun. They made us feel at home. The room was comfortable and we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

After reading reviews on several travel sites including Hotels.com and a trip advisory place (which shall remain anonymous) which called it a "Hidden Gem" so I thought I'd give it it shot. The check-in was fine & the host was very nice. Problem was as I approached my room the strong smell of cigarettes was overwhelming. The bench right in front of my […] room apparently the smoking area, not officially but it was. Then there was the swarm of flies in front of my door Rm 105. I don't know why there lived there but for the two days I stayed there so did they. There was no chance of moving since it was fully booked for the weekend. The room was old motel worn. Typical ugly bedspread which I don't know when or how often they clean it but I didn't even want to lay on it. Then the TV remote didn't work which was fixed quickly. But the room was only a place to sleep but not enjoy and it had a funky smell. Then there was the residents who lived at the hotel, yes it's one of those places, nothing against the weekly or monthly renters but the person upstairs from me who paced back and forth until about 2.30 am I could have done without. I tried calling the front desk but they don't answer that late. Then of course there are the dogs that bark and the 8-10 people who linger outside at 2-3 am and talk at full volume.The next day I forgot to mention it, my bad, maybe they would have done something about it, maybe. Anyway when I did mention it when I left and mentioned that no one was at the desk to respond he said that there is a number on the office door to call for such problems. I guess they expect the guest to get dressed in the middle of the nite and then walk down a closed office and find the phone number to call. I could see from the balcony in front of my room that the lights were off, why would I intuit that to mean that there would be a number to call when after calling the front desk from my room no one answered ? The Art Hotel is the perfect name for this place. People should stay here just for the wonderful murals all over the hotel.My family loved this place. The staff made you feel like you were home. The rate was proportional to the off-season time of stay. The hotel was very clean and the room was ample and quiet. The pool was out but it was off-season, so no problem. Glad we stayed.

The worst part of this place is the guy working the front desk. He is horrible and should fire himself if he owns the place. Our coffee maker was so dirty that I asked him to replace it. We stayed at the Art Hotel on our trip to see the Pageant of the Masters. When we checked in, the staff was very helpful, giving us several suggestion of placs in the area to eat dinner, where to catch the shuttles and beautiful nearby sites we should take in during our stay. Very friendly, helpful owners/managers. The rooms were well appoionted and clean. The pool and the pool area were quite sufficient and actually nice. Very good location for accessing public transportation. Secure, no-charge garage. We were very pleased.

Gentilie disponibili. Garage gratuito. Camera pulita con 2 queen è meglio. La colazione è compresa, ma un pochino povera, è self service e poi ci porta in camera, ma solo succo, frutta, qualche dolcetto o barretta energetica. Niente tè.

Enkelt indrettet. Morgenmaden er skrabet, med kun kage og lidt frugt, samt juice og vand. Værterne er meget flinke og imødekommende.
