we used to stay at the merry manor inn for many years, but haven't been back in the last 5 years. pleasant surprise to find out how updated the rooms are and how much work they're doing to really make the hotel spectacular. first of all, there are actual massage chairs in every room! they finally have lcd tv's and even though we had regular rooms, we […] also had a microwave and fridge in them. the hotel has bought out the restaurant next door, and while they have a very small menu right now, the food was great. they no longer have a continental at the hotel, but instead give you vouchers for breakfast at the restaurant, which was fantastic. the beds aren't the most comfortable, but they're far from bad. overall i was very happy with our stay and can't wait to go back. 더 보기

We had an early flight so this hotel served our needs for location. Unable to take advantage of breakfast as we had to leave at 6:30am. Pricewise the hotel was overpriced but I guess they are just taking advantage of the short holiday season as most other hotels in the area were priced similarly or more. I could stay in a much classier hotel in Charlotte […] for the same price if not less. Probably stay here again as there is not much else around other than Hilton Garden Inn at airport. One negative is that they don't have a courier service to the airport. Although taxi costs approx $15.00 (only 3 miles to airport), the hotel might attract more customers if they offered this service like the Days Inn does. But do you know what? - I'd come back to Maine in a heartbeat. 더 보기

A very clean, family friendly motel close to Acadia National Park. Spacious room, comfortable beds. Only drawback for me is the wireless network to slow to us.

we traveled to Maine to vist family. It's the second time we have stayed at Merry Manor, both times we have been pleased. Although parts of the hotel show it's age we find it to be clean and comfortable. The location is good for us. Short drive to the old port. Quick to the mall and many restaurants. There is an ajoining restaurant at the hotel called […] the governor, we didn't care much for that. We will be back to the hotel but will skip the restaurant 더 보기

I loved staying at the Merry Manor Inn. It was clean, staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and I LOVED my room. It was so comfortable and clean. I can actually say that I had the best night' sleep when I was there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone especially because it was such a convenient location to everything!

Overall our stay was good. I was disappointed that for the cost of the room, there was no refrigerator or microwave. We stayed during the school February vacation, so there was an unbelievable amount of children in the hotel which was great, however the pool was dirty and hairy. Also the hotel provides a voucher for an attached restaurant; however the […] restaurant is not able to handle the amount of guests that visit the hotel. We waited in line for over a half an hour to only be told it would be a longer wait and would likely not be able to be served breakfast. This was the case for both days. 더 보기

We really enjoyed our stay at the Merry Manor Inn. The bed and down pillows were extremely comfortable, as was the massage chair in the room. Room had two vanities and sinks, a microwave, and mini-fridge and the included breakfast at the restaurant next door was simple but very good! Stayed here while participating in a South Portland Art in the Park. Every aspect of the stay was perfect. Breakfast excellent.

What a lovely hotel. Things I loved about it: 1) It is dog-friendly. All members of my family, human and canine, are welcome at this hotel! 2) The room was big enough and comfortable enough to accommodate two grown-ups, one toddler, and one doggie. Although I read all the comments, I felt that my stay was good. My family of four were quite comfortable, the staff was nice, the location was good and the pools were perfect for the age of my children. I would stay again.

A little further from downtown than I was led to believe. Hotel right on highway (may be good for business travelers) Restaurant food was barely adequate, no bar.

We stayed at the hotel for only one night so we could be close to the Old Port for my girlfriends birthday. Room was in good shape, massage chair was nice touch. The pool and hot tub were both in good shape.
