진장 퍼시픽 호텔 상하이 (Jin Jiang Pacific Hotel Shanghai) - 상하이

인민광장역 8번출구 바로 앞이라 찾기 쉬운 위치였지만 진장퍼시픽아 아님 진먼 한문으로 금문대주점이여서 혼동이 있었습니다. 4층객실인데 실제로는 3층과 4층사이에 위치해 있었고 높은층은 100RMB를 charge로 요구하더군요. 그래서 그냥 4층으로 투숙했는데 창밖이 바로 건물이여서 view는 기대하심 안되요. 객실은 깨끗하고 좋았습니다.

외관부터 호텔내 여기저기 오래된 상해의 옛정취를 물씬 느낄수 있는 낭만적인 곳이네요.. 단지 최신시설의 부족으로 약간 불편함감이 없지 않지만....가격대비 아주 훌륭합니다... 대체로 만족스럽네요...난징과 접해있고 와탄까지도 걸어서 20분 정도니... 대중교통 없이도 상해도심을 돌아보니 적당합니다

위치가 매우 좋고 ( 인민광장 8번출구 바로 앞), 침구가 너무 편해서 잠을 잘 잘수 있어 좋았어요. 근데 구글지도에는 위치가 잘못 나와있는거 같네요; 호텔 입구에 계단이 있어서 캐리어를 들고가기가 힘들지만 그 외에는 가격대비 좋습니다!

3박4일 일정으로 방문한 상하이에서 편안하게 머물수 있었든 곳이었다. 호델의 위치는 상하의 중심인 인민광장역(People's Square Station)에서 도보 5분정도의 거리로 1/2/8호선이 모두 서는 곳이다. 호텔은 100년의 역사를 가지고 있으면서도 내부는 리모델링되어 안락한 분위기 였다. 다만 참고해야 할 사항이 있다면, 호텔에서의 편안한 휴식을 원한다면, 안쪽방에 머물물길 바란다. 거리쪽은 경적소리로 많이 시끄러운 편이다. 그리고 인민광장역은 평일에도 유동인구가 엄청 많아 특히 출/퇴근시간은 이동시 이점을 고려하시길 바란다.

위치: People's Square Station(인민광장) 8번 출구 바로 앞에 위치하고 있어서 찾는데는 어려움이 없으며, 위치 또한 아주 좋습니다. 지하철 역도 바로 앞이고 주변에 난징루, 미술관 등이 위치해서 돌아다니기도 좋네요. 객실은 아주 좋습니다. 깨끗하고 다리미, 드라이어, 치약, 칫솔 등이 모두 준비되어 있어서 여분의 옷과 몸만 가면 될 것 같습니다.

이 호텔에서의 숙박이 즐거웠다. 호텔의 위치는 훌륭하다. People Square역은 도로 건너편에 있다. 인도는 호텔 바로 옆에 있다. 도시로 가는 버스 투어 시작점 또한 도로 건너편이었다. 이 호텔의 위치는 최상이다. 상하이에 다시 올 때마다 이 호텔에 숙박할 의향이 있다.

우리 리무진 도착을 기다리면서 로비에서 도로변으로 우리 짐을 옮겼습니다. 도로변에서 차 트렁크까지 짐꾼이 옮겼습니다. 4 위안을 팁으로 주었는데 너무 작다고 느꼈는지 짐을 손에서 놓고 도로 변으로 굴려 버렸습니다. 고의적으로 다른 짐꾼들에게 소리지르면서 이건 팁이 아니라고 했습니다. 차에 들어와 문을 닫았는 데 그가 문을 열고 우리가 준 팁이 너무 작다고 소리를 쳤습니다. 아무것도 주지 말았어야 했습니다.

One or two of the staff have good service but the others are very poor, making faces at us after we checked twice with them on the same thing. Location, Location, Location!! Pacific Hotel is just across from People's Park and People's Square subway Station. Out of the four hotels I stayed in during the trip, this was my favorite one. However, the hotel did not refund my security deposit of 500rmb. The staff speak very limited English and I have to deal with them from the US through a friend's mother and it is very frustrating. the staff at the desk were not friendly. the staff who helped us get a taxi were great but overall the staff at the desk didn't even smile. I don't mind if it was that kind of service on the street or in stores but at a hotel where service is suppose to be at high priority this hotel didn't have any of it.

Second time stay. The room is not as spacious as previous stay, even booked at same room rate. The best is the location: surrounded by various restaurants, and subway is just cross street, by which you can arrive either airport without spend $$$ on taxi at all. Happy stay there.

Stay went well. Terrific location with just a short walk to the Nanjing pedestrian mall with mega shopping and a longer but definitely manageable walk to the Bund. Subway is right across the street. Staff is congenial. Could have done a better job of cleaning the room prior to our arrival. Otherwise the room is comfortable.

First impression when step in to the hotel - vintage type . Good location just 3 min walk to the Nanjing road shopping area and the Subway is just opposite of the hotel.. Hotel was very old and in dire need of a facelift. I went for one night only with a few friends and we went shopping during the day and clubbing at night, so the location was PERFECT for both of those activities.

Located on People's Square it is a great spot. The hotel has been largely restored. My room was newly renovated and very comfortable. Restaurants not up to first standards, but plenty of options around. An excellent choice, especially good value.

My husband and I spent 4 days at the Pacific Hotel Shanghai. We had a 'Classic King with view' room. It was very comfortable with desk, armchairs, great bed, good bathroom, safe, good clothes storage area and a terrific outlook over Peoples Square with windows you could open and that kept the noise out when closed. This is my fourth time in Shanghai. For a tourist week, great location, literally overlooking People's Square. Historic hotel, majestic buildings and rooms. Helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed. There's so much to do, see, and eat in the area that we didn't even look into the hotel's own restaurant etc.
