Dated and abused. Won't stay there again.

If all you need is a place to rest your head, this will do. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was adequate, the price was right. It is not a luxury hotel and if you are nervous about stepping out directly to your parked car, this is not the place for you. Towels were well stocked and clean, bed was comfortable. I usually book this hotel just because it is the cheapest priced hotel and closest to Dave and Busters. I never really have a problem with the hotel. It is just a cheap place to stay, don't expect any luxuries! One thing I can say about it is that every time I book this hotel, my room has this horrible stench. I stayed at the Super 8 in Westlake because my boyfriend and I wanted to spend the day at Dave and Busters. I have stayed here before and it was always okay. This time I thought that the room we were in kind of smelled weird. Even after we left I could still smell the strange stench on my clothes. The rooms beds were uncomfortable. The fitted sheets kept falling off of the bed.

Very accomidating and friendly.

Even though the hotel was adjacent to the highway, we could not hear road noise in our room. The bathroom light took 15-30 seconds to turn on, and the outside door to our room needed replacing. (There were many empty rooms, and I'm sure they would have given us a new room if we had asked.) Overall, we had a pleasant stay for a great price!

We were visiting family and needed a decent priced hotel just to sleep. The hotel was clean, the staff was nice. Definitely not 5 star quality, but a clean place to rest your head for a good price.

We stopped here as an overnight stop on a longer trip. The hotel is really close to the Interstate, but we could not hear any road noise in our room. There are several good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The free breakfast was adequate for our family. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is a good value for the price. It was really hot so it would have been nice if they had turned on the air conditioner in the room before we checked in. It took hours for the room to cool off. Room was clean and comfortable otherwise. Pool open until 11:00 was great.

Nice place for a night or two...Not the best u'll get...but sure is cheap...

Good- Close to the lake, Very safe area, close to great food (you gotta go to the Boneyard!), clean room, friendly staff, easy to get on and off highway, easy drive to the city Bad- Wax on carpet, spider web in corner, bed flipped up when you sat near the top, hole in wall covered by picture (not to other room, just a hole) Overall if you are looking […] for a decent room to sleep in it's a great place. Close to some good restaurants, in a great area, and easy to get to the lake from. This hotel was in a very good location. There were at least 150 rooms but there were only seven cars in the parking lot in the a.m. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but the coffee was great. For the price and the location this hotel should have been full. People are missing out on a good deal.

basically ok and cheap

As a college student with little money, this was a great/cheap place to stay for 1 night while I was in town for the Rush concert. The staff were very friendly and the rooms, while not amazing, were just fine for a one night stay. They pillows were a little flat so bring your own.

Pros: This hotel was out of the city a bit, but a 10 minute drive and I was downtown. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A few restaurants nearby. Continental Breakfast Cons: Room could've been a little cleaner, but it wasn't horrible enough to deter me away.

Hotel is alright. The front desk staff does not know a whole lot of information about the Cleveland area. Hotel is right next to highway so you can here cars all night. Contintental breakfast is alright. It is one of my favorite hotel brand and i love to stay at Hotel 8. The front desk clerk was very friendly and excellent. I really like to come back again and I will. Only my concern is that the room as not as clean as I expected. I am not picky. I am talking about there were still dust and crumbles from previous people. The room was musty, but otherwise okay.

The room was very comfortable, I was really pleased that they had a computer in the lobby that I could use to check my email. There were 4 restaurants within walking distance and they were all very good. I also was pleased with the easy access into Cleveland where I was working.

Bed was sft and very sqeaky Tv had constant staticy noise

Torn carpeting. Exposed carpet tack strips (it really hurts to step on a tack strip with your bare feet!). Beds from the depression. Flat, lumpy pillows. You get to hear your neighbor in the next room urinating. Metal plates on bed frames to keep items out from under the beds that squeak every time you roll over. Voices through the walls. No complaints. Room was what you would expect for the price - It was clean, and the employees were nice.

The bed was uncomfortable and in the middle of the night when I went to the bathroom, there was a big antfarm on the floor.

These tubs were blackened from NOT being scubbed. All hotels should have the maids scrub the tubs at least once aweek.

Needed to find a place for just a night - stayed here for cheap. Beds were very comfortable, carpet was clean, A/C worked, I felt safe. Toilet bowl was cracked but everything worked fine. There was some brown "gunk" on the walls in a few places - not pleasant, but for such a cheap price I couldn't object. Breakfast was good. When you pay a low rate, you have low expectations. It was a clean place to sleep... LOVED the drive through check in!
