이비스 홍콩 노스 포인트 (Ibis Hong Kong North Point) - 홍콩

늘 홍콩출장시 팀사추이쪽 호텔만 이용하다가 처음으로 노스퍼인트쪽에 숙소를 이용해보았습니다. Ibis 답게 숙소 청소상태는 좋았지만, 2명이 지내기엔 너무 좁은 방과 이상한 시궁창 냄새는 좀 거슬렸습니다. 밤에 자기전 밖으로 보이는 야경과 지하철역이 매우가까운 점은 정말 좋았습니다.

역에서 가깝고, 구룡반도로 가는 페리도 바로 앞에 있어서 교통편이 나쁜건 아니예요. 도심지와는 좀 떨어져있어 시끄럽거나 하지도 않고, 바다가 보이는 곳이라 전망도 좋습니다. 그러나..그럼에도 불구하고 별을 3개밖에 못 드리는건..여자 두명이 갔는데도 너무 좁아서 짐정리도 침대에서 해야 되고(그렇다고 침대가 큰 것도 아닙니다) 한명이 걸어다니면 한명은 앉아있어야 되고...비누와 칫솔 구비되어 있는 것말고 다른건 없습니다.(헤어드라이기는 있고.) 그리고 금고라도 비치는 되어 있으나 귀중품 넣어놨는데 열리지 않아 카운터로 콜을 해야 됐고, 돌아온 답변은...금고도 믿지 말고 아무것도 넣지 말라는-_-

약간 후미진 곳에 위치하고 야경도 잘 안보여서 실망..왜 돈을 더 주고 하버뷰를 했는지 의심스러움. I pay more for Harbour view.. But I coudn't see Harbour!!!! Because of the wall.... Hotel is clean but neighborhood seems little bit dangerous.

I was chosen this hotel because hotel price is reasonable which is compared with other hotels in Hong Kong. I think this hotel is No.1 budget tourist hotel in Hong Kong. Two Thumbs Up!! Also, they taken HK$300.00 for deposit but, when I checked out, they were fully refunded. Bus terminus located in front of Ibis North Point. But, you won't use ferry which is connected with North Point and Hung Hum..Time schedule is finished 7.10 pm and that ferry jetty is located not near Hung Hum MTR Station..Anyway, I strongly recommend this hotel. It's a great hotel. The rooms are very small, but that is typical of Hong Kong. The rooms are newly renovated, clean and comfortable. Ours had a stunning view overlooking the water. It is just steps from the North Point subway station and the North Point neighbourhood itself is tons of fun. Lots of shops and restaurants around. The only thing I don't about this hotel is that they do not have ventilation in the toilet.

Good location, get bus a11 from airport. Definetly get room with harbour view. Thought I'd be able to see light show from room but didn't. Still worth booking a room with harbour view though, amazing views. Can't open window so have to take pictures looming through window. Free wifi. Pick up a local som card in 7/11 fir phone and avail of free net.

This hotel is in a great location when you consider the location to the MTR (subway) station (it is literally 1/2 block away from the North Point Station on the Island Line) and the great street market and other shopping in the surrounding neighborhood. Additionally, the hotel has a restaurant that is reasonably priced. We only ate breakfast (which they provide from 4am - noon, with less options for the early bird and late risers) but the food was good. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful and for the most part, spoke great English. In fact, the only negative I have about this hotel is the comfort of the beds. We were able to get used to the small room (think smaller than a dorm room), small bathroom and shower, but the mattresses were just so old and uncomfortable. They have in fact, in our room at least, nailed wood to the top of the box spring and it literally felt like you were sleeping on that piece of wood. One morning the cleaning crew was in the next room and I asked to take a look. The bed in this room, although a different size, was just as uncomfortable. We chose a room with two beds thinking it might provide more space, not so. If this hotel would invest in new mattresses it would make for a much more pleasant stay since you can't beat the location and price. A last piece of advice would be to ask for a harbor view and to choose a mid level floor as the higher the room, the more smog there is to impede the view (there are 31 floors). Finally, if you are a non-smoker, this hotel does have smoking floors. We were not able to smell cigarette smoke in the hotel or on our non-smoking floor. Nice staff clean room but the room really small and waited for too long when I check in, Location is great, the metro is nearby.

located 2minutes from MTR and has buses and trams close by. very easy to get aroung. Room is clean and staffs are very responsive.It is small, but that is Hong Kong.

I found the staff here to be helpful and friendly. The rooms all have a great view are clean and have everything you really need ie. Wifi, TV. Coffee making facilities Etc. There’s not a lot to do in the north point area but that doesn’t really matter because this hotel is only about 30m away from the nearest metro (MTR) station and is also only two […] streets away from a stop for one of Honk kongs iconic trams. Yes, the rooms are small, but not that small. They are clean and the view of the harbor is very nice (if you reserve the harbor view room). We were on the 16th floor and were annoyed by the elevator service: both elevators simply passed our floor when we pressed the call button. Once we waited for quite a long time seeing the elevators go up and down […] without stopping, until the cleaning lady showed us a service elevator on the right side at the exit door. That one stopped right away, so take notice that you can do that. The breakfast was good. The location quite good too: it's not in the center, but all the possible transportation is right there: the subway is in the next building, there are buses and trams on the parallel street, and even the ferries to Kowloon right across from the hotel. Fuss free, ez access + compact hotel. Abit dirty, but they clean it up after complain. Would be great if they could vacuum and mop the floor everyday since the room is small. This hotel is good if your in budget, location near train so if your not planning to take taxi from airport its good to know that its less than 5 minute away from train.

V convenient location.Newly furnished. Gd seeview but v small rm size. Ideal budget.

I have no clue why the average rating on this site is so low for this hotel. Sure, it's basic and not in the center of town. But, the rooms, though small, are well laid out, clean, quiet. And moderately priced HK hotel rooms do tend to be small. North Point is not the most exciting of neighborhoods, but the hotel is seconds from an entrance to the HK's […] superefficient MTR. Great location, very close to the North Point MTR Station and the A11 Bus station for the airport. Basic accomodation, but comfortable and safe. Free Wi-Fi, need to call lobby each day for the code. Highly recommended.

Centrally located right next to North Point MRT (tube) station. A clean friendly hotel, but rooms are very small and beds are hard. Staff are very helpful. There is an advisor in reception for trips, tours etc.

Good location and harbour view for less money.

This hotel is located on doorsteps to metro, so its no problems to get around. Rooms are tiny, just to sleep in. Nice and helpful staff.

I usually stay in TST area, but this time the area was very expensive so decide on the Ibis North Point to try. Pleasantly surprised. Room was small (expected in Hong Kong) but clean and had an in-room safe which is important to me. Staff was friendly, helpful and spoke good English. This hotel is very convenient to many locations. The subway is right next door.

If you are looking for cheap accomodation in hong kong island this is one of the best hotel for you. But dont expect anything special. But location and staffs are great.

Smallest hotel room. 11 sq.m only. Expensive too for the size.

While North Point is a bit away from the tourist attractions, the metro, bus or the iconic doubledecker tram are right around the corner. Had a room with Harbour view, loved it. This hotel is very close to the North Point MTR station and convenience to other shops. While the room is small, it provides facilities that are required.

This is a perfectly adequate hotel for the business traveller or tourist who are paying for themselves. Corporate travellers might need a little more luxury. The rooms are small but clean and the bathroom was OK. There was good value for money here and the staff were helpful and firendly.

The hotel is located very close to the North Point MTR subway station, hence very convenient. It is also near a supermarket for drinks and snack. The room and bathroom were clean. Bed was a bit hard but not uncomfortable. My only dislike, the elevators; very slow.

The rooms available is too late - no rooms for us even at 16:oo pm. It also need a very long time to check in, including to fill in a lot of information before check in.

We stayed in september of 2011 for 4 nights. Pros: 1) convenient location, 2 mins away from subway (MTR) station and bus stop to airport (A11). 2) Very clean room 3) reasonably price, we got a harbour view! 4) friendly staff 4) close to many awesome restaurants (anthony bourdain visited this restaurant that is located in this market which is 2 […] mins away!!!!) Cons: 1) very small rooms: if you are very claustrophobic i dont really recommend this place 2) bed is very hard 3) they dont provide you shampoo or body soap 4) slow elevators Conclusion: Good place to stay if you dont stay in the hotel much, this hotel is almost like a hostel. Because Ibis is close to the harbor, you can get a great view of the buildings on the opposite side of the city. The subway station is not more than a few minutes away, and I never had to ride for more than 25 mins. It was nice to find a Saizeriya around the area as well (for those who don't know, it's a family restaurant chain in Japan).
