New people had taken over the day before I was there. If they completely remodel they have a chance. The place is well worn. It was the closest place to where I was at 2am. Otherwise, I would not have stayed there.

The service was horrible here i stood at the front desk for 15 mins when I arrived to check in because the girl was on her cell phone in the back making party plans than the room had a horrible smell in it the carpet had a damp dirty feel.. no breakfast was even served

I gave this a 3 star on 'surrounding neighborhood' only becauseI didn't know anything about the surrounding neighborhood. We arrived before our confirmation from hotels.com did, but the managers gave us a room anyway and said they'd wait for the confirmation - that we should not be inconvenienced because of a delay in communications. However, if you […] need a REAL continental breakfast, this is not the place for you. There was instand oatmeal and milk/orange juice/coffee. But the manager did suggest that the next exit on the interstate would offer much better selections. The bathroom/towels were clean, and the bed and linens clean and comfortable. The place was full. GREAT HOTEL FOR THE PRICE

Have never stayed at such a deceptive place. you will be very disapointed if you stay here. A renavated on the outside but dump inside.

We arrive around 6 pm. No coffee maker in the room so I called down to the lobby and the girl,who was babysitting her 4 kids until their daddy got there, told me they don't usually have coffee that time of the day. Went there because the Hampton Inn rate was twice as high, plus its proximity to Barber Motorcycle Museum. Had some difficulty find it because there was no street sign and no hotel sign, but the location, to the museum and restaurants, was great. Plus, the room and premises were clean. The first indication was the clerk behind locked doors and glass. There was a couple having an altercation in the parking lot. The following morning the "continental breakfast" consisted of packages of dry grits, slices of bread and two bottles of juice on ice. The employees were all outside smoking.
