Solymar Hotel in Cancun has a 3 stars classification, however the service, hotel facilities, and rooms do not qualify for this rating. The rooms did not have hot water so shower were not pleasant. People in charge of the hotel are not honest about the hot water issue. I was told they had a pipe problem that was under repair. For what I noticed I never […] saw anybody working anywhere of the "hotel" repairing pipes. Many guests that came after me were told the same and after 12 days of being there the water was still cold. Do not pay for all inclusive the food is horrible and not worth it the money you pay. Most of the restaurants are far away from the hotel so you are forced to take a bus/taxi to find good food. There is a bar by the pool that offers some drinks, I had the worst margarita in the world, it was watery and the tequila was awful. The people attending the bar are rude and they think they are funny. Personnel at this hotel needs a lot of customer service training, I mean a lot. One day we were at the beach and one person from the bar decided to dress as a devil and go around the beach kicking the plastic chairs the guests were using. There is a volleyball net on the beach, but if you want to play you have to be lucky to get the ball from the bar, and if you get it you might have to play with the rude people from the bar. The lobby needs a lot of repair, there is a leather sofa that you would probably find on the streets for free. The telephones in the rooms did not work, and in order to make a local call you had to go to the lobby and the person on the counter had to dial for you and then transfer the call to a phone on the counter. One day we order a pizza for the kids, I gave the room number to the person in charge in the lobby, but when the pizza arrived this man told the pizza delivery he did not know the room number. We had to call again and we ate cold pizza thanks to the efficiency of the hotel people. The only good thing about this place is the beach, 더 보기

First room we checked into had a broken a/c unit & ants in the bathroom. We were switched to another room with less ants & a working a/c. Stayed for 3 nights & 3rd day they never cleaned the room. We had to ask for clean towels to shower the next morning before we checked out. Not a 3 star hotel. We took the all inclusive, waiting to receive same quality of food and facilities as other hotels with similar rates in the area. This is far from them. The fact is that the people working there do their best they can, but as it is a time share that has been sold completely, the building and facilities have not been upgraded or maintained. Gente! Não recomendo este hotel para ninguém, a não ser que você vá passar o dia inteiro fora. Fechamos as diárias em all inclusive e quebramos a cara! O restaurante não tem um pingo de higiene. Copos de plástico e gordurosos, chapa podre, parece que nunca foi limpa, comidas sem sal, falta de talheres, o suco que te servem é água pura, vc não sente […] nem o gosto da fruta, o bar da piscina com apenas 3 garrafas de bebida. E sem falar que na recepção vc é recebido de cara com um sofá todo rasgado e sujo! Meu Deus o que era aquilo? Se minha hospedagem não estivesse paga, com certeza teria trocado de hotel. A sorte foi que passamos o dia inteiro fora e deixamos de fazer refeição no hotel. Este hotel com certeza esta se arrastando para sobreviver e só tem uma mega estrutura, mas o atendimento é péssimo! tuvimos que solicitar cambio en 2 oportunidades de habitaciòn . comida muy limitada . personal amable pero pobre presentaciòn y cuidado. hotel en general en deterioro . hasta las toallas tenìan hilachas de viejas. varias habitaciones no funcionantes. las fotos no corresponden a la realidad
