Have stayed at the Rose twice now - great rooms, great breakfast, and a convenient location for the Livermore wineries.

A first class experience in every way.

Hotel rooms, lobby and bar/lounge area are all decorated in first-class European style...so-called old world charm. Bedroom and especially bathroom were extra large (Unit # 318). Breakfast buffet also very similar to European style. Lounge is a great place to have a glass of wine and mingle with others.

I travel frequently for business and this was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. I would go out of my way to stay here again. Very elegant and comfortable hotel with so many nice touches. Rooms are decorated beautifully (not like a standard hotel room). There was a fancy print bedspread, beautifully colored walls, marble sink and floor […] in the bath, silver ice buckets and so many extra nice touches. Bathrooms were big and spacious with an oversized glass shower with a bench inside in addition to an oversized whirlpool tub. Extra little touches such as a tea candle in the bathroom and make-up removing towelettes, CD player, DVD of Groundhog in the room and robes and slippers were welcome comforts. Complimentary breakfast consisted of fruits, lox, ham, hard boiled eggs, bagels, english muffins, cereal, oatmeal and juice, coffee and tea. WiFi was also complimentary in the rooms making this hotel a great value for the price. I'd definitely stay here again! 더 보기

My headline says it all

I love this hotel and having been staying here for years. It is not the cheapest in the area but clearly the best.

A beautiful room and hotel, great staff. Very comfy bed and roomy bathroom. Love the place.

My husband and I snuck away here for an overnight date night. The hotel had just been beautifully decorated for Christmas and our "petite king" room was spacious and elegantly decorated. The bathroom was to die for and I loved the Peets coffee and my own French press to use in the morning. The bar in the lobby had a nice wine selection and we enjoyed […] chatting there with the other guests. I really felt like a was staying at a boutique hotel in San Francisco. 더 보기

wonderul place to stay.. Great location to wine country, walk the downtown for friendly shopping, then enjoy dinner at the many options............all in walking distance..Breakfast is well done. Quiet little getaway! Will return soon! :)

At first glance I thought the hotel price was high, but it was recommended to me. What an amazing place. This hotel is for the seasoned traveler who appreciates the detail and attendtion to make a hotel stay truly enjoyable. Forget that this place is owned by John Madden. It is brilliantly constructed with thoughtful design and the fixtures, features […] furnishings and staff are a delight. The room rate includes a great deal (free internet and they even let you use a laptop if you didn't bring one!). NIce bathrooms, great beds and pillows. Lobby, Bar and Breakfast are well supplied and appointed. Nice little touches here and there. Good underground parking and a limit of rooms (only 38), make this place a superb business location or a weekend retreat. It is better than any Ritz Carlton I have visited and they don't gouge you for every little thing. Fruit bowls on each floor are replenished often. Water in the room. Yes, they have a mini bar and you can buy stuff - but we were fine as is. Great restaurants around there. It is my new favorite hotel in the world. I would love to live there. 더 보기

The Rose is a rose in thise beautifull suroundings. With english style and american hospitallity, we were thrilled about it.

Hands down best hotel in the area.
