G-Hotel Goldenes Schwert - 취리히

Hotel is ideally located in old town but it has a club below and noise is unbearable. I stayed on a Tuesday night thinking it was a quiet night but the I was wrong. I was on the 3rd floor and could be the amp base and hear the music until 5am. Worst hotel ever. The only purpose for this hotel is to pass out drunk!

Room was clean and attractive. Late night/early morning noise levels from in-house bars are annoying but bedside ear plugs are provided. "G" Hotel means gay but did not bother me. Interesting and picturesque neighborhood.

The biggest complaint about this hotel is the (gay) nightclub downstairs. Even though we were 4 floors up, the nightclub was so loud that the you could feel the vibration in the walls/floor. And, even on a Sun night, it didn't stop until about 4 am. The rest of the street seemed pretty quiet, but this nightclub was very loud. Also, the breakfast is […] not a nice buffet breakfast. They bring you a cup of coffee and a couple of pieces of bread and jam to your door in the morning. Most European hotels offer much better. Finally, the front desk people claim that the local city tax is not included with the hotels.com price even though the receipt explicitly shows that taxes are included. Nowhere on the website does it say that tax is extra and I've never paid tax in addition to a hotels.com booking before. Since it was only 5 francs per night and we were only staying one night, I didn't argue. 더 보기

everything great but noisy !

Staff are very friendly. Breakfast will be taken up to your room. There is a bar on the 1st floor and it might be bothering, but there are earplugs in the room.

Noise was not a problem for us, but it was a Wednesday night and we were really tired. However, the location is awesome! The night club is not open on Monday or Tuesday night, so it should be quieter on those days. The hotel had luggage storage, included a free breakfast for two people, and the people working at reception spoke perfect english. Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel mit super Citylage.

It is impossible to get any sleep due to the two integrated night clubs. We had to check out a day early since the noise prevented us from getting a minutes sleep! The lack of aircondition/fans also made the room extremely hot, and noise from the street made prevented us from opening the windows at night.

Mindre hotel i centrum af den gamle bydel. Meget charmerende omgivelser. Meget besværligt at køre til hotellet. Hotel fortrinsvis for mandlige homoseksuelle gæster. Lav værelsesstandard -virkede slidt og beskidt. Som bonus er der meget natligt støj fra underliggende natklubber.

Av bestillingen fremgikk det at det skulle være med frokustbuffet. Det var det ikke. Vi fikk et brett med frokost brakt til vårt rom, og den var meget enkel.

I spent one night there! It"s absolutely perfect! Very clean, most rooms has a smol balcony, very nice people are working there. They even have robes for after bath. Don't hasitate - a very good hotel! And besides, we had our breakfast in bed! All for a very good price.

Le night club situe au rez-de-chaussée de l'hotel est si sonore qu'il est impossible de dormir jusqu'a ce que le bruit cesse, vers 3h30-3h45 du matin. Manifestement, aucune insonorisation n'a ete pratiquee pour découpler le night club du reste du batiment. Quelles sont l'utilite et la valeur d'une chambre dans laquelle on ne peut pas dormir ?

Hotellet befinner seg over et diskotek og vi lå bokstavelig talt og ristet til musikken i sengene. Det blir slitsomt når diskoen stenger kl 04.... Hold deg langt unna dette hotellet!
