콩코드 호텔 (Concorde Hotel) - 프랑크푸르트

지하철 바로 근처라 좋고, 직원도 아주 친절하고 와이파이도 잘됩니다. 다만 밤에 뒷골목은 조금 무섭더라구요

가까워서 좋았지만.... 밤늦게 다닐때는 약간 무서움이 느껴짐. ^^ 조식이 포함되었다고 말을해주었었는데.. 아침에 check out 할때 조식비를 10유로씩 따로 받았음... 뭔가 당한기분이었음.. ㅠ.ㅠ

I had a small singles room and it was nice and clean, but the aircondition was very noisy!

The hotel is a good alternative to the same ole same ole airport hotels. The location was central and convenient with the train station so near. Neighborhood a bit seedy and the lighting in the room needed a boost. Would stay again though.

Really small Rooms and very basic. Staff was nice but the room was small and worn out. Lookibg at the room facilities i was amazed that they had 4stars

within yards/metres of the hbf, excellent staff, kind of a neat modern deco.

I recently stayed at the Concorde Hotel in Frankfurt Germany. They are located extremely close to the train station and downtown area. The hotel was very clean and what appeared to be recently upgraded with very upscale meeting rooms to conduct business. The real factor that made my stay extraordinary was the hotel staff. They went out of their way […] to make sure my stay was a memorable one. They really made me feel welcome in their city, from the courteous service to the recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. I would like to especially mention the General Manager Mario. He not only engaged me in meaningful conversation, but became a true friend over the short time of my visit. You will not find a more outstanding group of individuals in any city in Europe. Very tiny rooms - but I guess you get what you pay for. Good for business but not much more.

Had a pretty small room but it was perfect for what I needed. I got into town late and was leaving early the next day. All i needed was a place to sleep that was in walking distance to the train station. It's a one minute walk from the main train station. Stayed at the single room. Was surprised about how inexpensive a 4-star hotel room was. It was not disappointing at all. I expected the room to be tiny, which is true for European standard. Yet the design is nice, and live the mood-lighting. The staff is friendly and helpful. Even the surrounding area is ok as long as you exercise caution. A "REWE" […] supermarket just across the street, and vendors at the Main train station all provide necessities needed for a short stay. I arrived late on Saturday night at this hotel, weary from my travels and ready for a good night's sleep and an easy Sunday. The convenience of the hotel's location relative to the main Frankfurt train station is about the extent of its perks. The room I got was smaller than a cramped dormitory-style room at any university. The TV was a tiny (10inches […] maybe? even smaller?) clunky TV (NOT flat screen) and situated on a high shelf, not very convenient location without cranking your neck to view it. My restful stay was rudely awoken by some children who started to run around the hall ways at 6am. The opening and closing of doors, making very loud banging sounds persisted. A mother proceeded to nurse her crying baby outside her room, further affecting my experience. By 8am I had had enough and got up and left, wishing to end this experience. I complained to the staff on my way out (who, by the way, did not ask me how my stay was as is customary in the hospitality business). She offered her apologies and a free breakfast, which I refused since the last thing I wanted was to spend more time at this hotel. I would NOT recommend staying here! 더 보기

We chose the Concorde because of its closeness to the train station and the excellent reviews from other travellers and we were not disappointed. The train journey from the airport to the hotel was really easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were small but very clean and comfortable. We took advantage of the buffet breakfast on a couple […] of mornings, and it was excellent value for money. We went for Frankfurt for the Christmas market and found the hotel conveniently placed for both the market and shops either by subway (two stops), or a ten minute walk. We stayed one night in this hotel. I was at the train station when I booked it. 10 minutes later I showed up to the hotel and they had our room ready. It was very nice and clean. Very close to the train station and airport and relatively close to the historic sites. Very friendly staff. I definetely recommend this hotel to other people.

Pros: price, cleanness and convenient location Cons: bad neighborhood, lukewarm clerk

Directly across from MHbf. Friendly and helpful hotel service. I elected to take a double room and it was modern, spacious and very clean for just a few euro more. Great hotel and highly recomended.

Ok, hotel beds always suck, but these were really had. The room felt like we were in a boat, which was fun. Everything was clean and modern. Really liked the location, except at night when we would accidentally end up in the red light district, where things get really dodgy. Stay on the main roads late at night, don't try for short cuts! Conveniently located to the train station. When the room is described as small, it is accurate. the room was tiny, but worked for one person. The room was clean. The street was a bit noisy. There really aren't any nice, quality sit-down restaurants in the area; mostly quick ethinic spots. Great hotel, just a little hard to find at first. We had interesting encounters with people on the street, but of a harmless nature. Overall I was happy with my stay there.

The price was good. The room was a little small but clean and renewed recently! Free internet connection was fast and really convenient in the room. Very pleased!

This is a great boutique hotel very convenient to the train station. The only draw back is the location. Turn the wrong way and the neighborhood gets very seedy. I think it is safe--never felt threatened--but can be very explicit in the sex trade. I wouldn't let it stop me--it's just good to be forewarned.

The hotel looks old and the furnishing isn't attractive. The room is noisy. There is no view.

Excellent staff. Clean, not overly big rooms but adequate for two of us. Breakfast is very good and it is only, literally, around the corner from the rail station. Easy walk to town and the business district.

Erika at the front desk made a fantastic first impression. Superb location-quiet but so close to everything. Room was a good size. Value for money. Don't look anywhere else in Frankfurt, this is the only place to go.

Modern and clean hotel with comfortable accommodations which is across the street from train station. Still very close to red light district full of casinos and sex shops which provides a nice flavor. The hotel itself is impeccable, quiet, and clean however.

The hotel itself met our expectations. It was close to the train station, clean, and the concierge was very friendly and recommended a wonderul Tai restaurant close by. Unfortunately we had a room facing the front street on the first floor, and it was extremely noisy all night. Anyone staying there should request a room in the back. Next time, I will […] be prepared to pay more for a hotel at the airport, because the neighborhood around the station was very seedy. As soon as we exited the station, we were being watched by characters who looked like they wanted to mugg us--hookers everywhere, etc. It's not the hotel's fault, and the hotel did seem like a safe haven close to the train station. While staff were very courteous and helpful, this was a disappointning 4 star property. Room size was very small (not unexpected) but appointments and furnishings left much to desire. Based on other expereinces, I would rate this a mid-range 3 star at best. If, however, location is your main driver, consider the Concorde.

Yes tiny rooms - you are warned but if that doesn't matter, they are clean, quiet, good A/C and the staff is very nice. It is exactly what I was looking for and I'll be back!

The hotel was clean, comfortable and warm. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is about a 3 minute walk from the main train station. It is close to what appeared to be a red light district of some description but it is possible to avoid that area. The street the hotel was on is fine. There is a porthole in the bathroom door which could […] be a problem if you are sharing with someone who you don't wish to see you in the shower but you can just hang a towel over it. The room was good, beds were comfortable and you get everything you need in a hotel room as well as heat control. There was little noise from outside which made it easier to sleep. I would recommend this hotel to people who want a central location, clean and comfortable room at a reasonable price. No complaints. I researched the hotel prior to booking it. Knowing the size of the room I booked would be small, my expectations prior to arrival was well managed. Having arrived on a Sunday at 8:30am, needless to say, the room was not ready. The front desk staff was very kind and offered me some freshly brewed coffee; it immediately put me at ease. Surprisingly, […] they got the room ready at about 10:30am, and I was able to check in, drop off my luggage and relax a bit. The room I had was small (read other reviews). What the other reviews don't elaborate on was how well and efficiently designed it was. There's a place for everything, though small, I never had any trouble with bumping into my luggage and things. It was clean, modern, and cozy. But understand that I was traveling by myself, packed accordingly, and was only a 2 night stay. Had this been an extended trip, I would have upgraded to a bigger room. The staff was excellent, and communication in English was perfect (next time I go, I'll make an effort to try some German phrases). Courteous at all times, and though I did not have a ton of requests, they were accommodating with the few I had. The location...several reviews had pointed out that it was located in/near the red light district. It's semi true - It's not "in" it, but darn close (one street over). However, the other reviews really do not touch on how safe it is. I personally felt very safe at all times; and i was carrying a lot of valuable and visible photographic equipment. Advice: If the red light district offends you, you can easily avoid it by not walking in it, just ask the hotel staff before you head out. Breakfast at the hotel is offered at 10 Euro. I did not try it, but the price seems to be reasonable. Grabbing a croissant sandwhich and a small cup of mediocre coffee at the train station would cost you about 3-4 euro anyway. I wish i had tried it at least once. I did not have a car, but parking is nearby. The hotel was literally across from the train st 더 보기

The hotel is less than a block from the nearest underground entrance to the the Hbf. Room was great and included an electric hot pot and instant coffee (common in the US, but apparently uncommon in Germany.) Looking at the emergency exit map, we did get the biggest room of all those on the floor, but many looked like they were MUCH smaller. I stayed in a small single room. It was very small but everything I needed for this two week finance business trip. The hotel staff was very helpful and professional. The room was very clean each day after housekeeping came through. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

I could not believe how small the standard room was. You have to see it to believe it. Nothing like the photos on hotels.com of course. Completely claustrophobic and somewhere you can stay for max 20 minutes at a time unless you're sleeping. The bed was a small single bed. The tv is maybe 6 inches wide....I think my iPad is larger. The hotel staff is friendly but the rooms are nothing near what we would expect for a 4star hotel as sold. Neighbourhood is rough. I would not advise to walk around even in day light.

The hotel is advertised as 4 stars but I would rate it as 2.5-3. It is too expensive for what is worth and offers. It would be convenient staying close to the main train station but the surroundings including red light district are very scary.
