The hotel was good and we stayed here For the big sur race. Only drawback was they did not provide a late checkout past 12.30 while other hotels did. Would definitely go back here.

We picked this hotel since it was close to the dennis the menace park and not far from the aquarium. Room didnt have an a/c and it was stuffy the whole time. Beds were comfy and room was clean. Staff was nice. Overall budget friendly but if traveling with chidren maybe a hotel with air conditioning rooms.

for the price it was great, very cheap for the cleanliness,size, and a great breakfast in the a.m. also the staff in the breakfast room were so sweet and friendly....

went to monterey presidents weekend and loved the location of comfort inn. 7 minutes to del monte mall, 7-10 minutes or 1 exit away to the aquarium, 13 minutes to carmel, less than 13 minutes to 17-mile drive. Also maybe 5 minutes to Safeway, 2 minutes to CVS and other local places to get snacks for the room. The freeway entrance was extremely close […] as well. breakfast was great. they had special flavor and original flavor waffles as well as cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries and some fruit. only bad thing was we had a wet spot on our floor that did not go away. personnel did their best to vacuum it to lessen the wetness and gave us towels to put over it. Bed was comfy but the room felt a little small. Good hot water and water pressure. No actual vanity but overall the room fulfilled its purpose. 더 보기

Our room was very comfortable and their breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food.

A picturesque motel not far from the tourist activities of Monterey. The room was comfortable, with a newly remodeled bathroom. Well-maintained, with flowers in hanging baskets outside of the rooms. Hotel was convenient, clean, and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, even though some of it was for work. Thank you Monterey and Comfort Inn. Fairgrounds staff also did a wonderful job.

The hotel was very quaint and the staff was very nice. The breakfast was good and nice for the price of the hotel. The only downfall for us was the bed it was so uncomfortable we needed a Chiropractor after our visit. So if I could suggest one thing to this hotel get new beds if you are going to be named COMFORT INN.

If you want to sleep at all then this is not the hotel for you. Every time someone on the second floor moved or walked, it sounded like a herd of elephants stomping around. The floors had no insulation between.

A great hotel to stat at if you don't plan on being in your room for long periods. It worked out well for is with 2 small children. We did hear airplanes frequently but out boys loved it and it wasn't that big of a deal. The complimentary breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly. The best breakfast anywhere...I've stayed here at this hotel twice, coincidentally the same room. The location is central to many attractions and food, the breakfast is self was the main reason my wife and I chose the comfort inn both vacations we've taken to the coast and we will choose it again next time.

If you want to stay in a filthy room this is the place for you. The room was not cheap at all. We paid good money for it. There were other hotels that looked better but were a lot more money. We booked the room the night before so we didn't have a lot of choice unless we wanted to pay an arm and a leg. I will give them credit for the breakfast. This was almost the worst place I have ever stayed. When making the reservations, I made sure to ask not to be near the airport. This site was not only 1 mile from the airport, but directly in the flightpath of outgoing planes - large and small. Planes flew over the roof of the motel all night, sounding like they were about to crash into the structure. […] The surrounding neighborhood was loud - playing music all hours of the night. The site also backs up to the freeway so there were large trucks and cars driving by all day and night. The breakfast was inedible. Not as close to the beach or downtown as it sounds. Manager was pleasant and helpful. Would not recommend a room with someone above you. You can hear the people above walking around and if you have similar guest above as we did you will be woken up in the middle of the night.

I booked this at the last minute and was very happy to arrive at this cute hotel! I stayed here because I was playing at Spyglass and Poppy Hills golf courses and wanted a place to sleep that was close and also reasonably priced.The next most important factor was that breakfast was offered. This was a very good, quaint hotel. The front desk staff was curteous and helpful. The room was clean and large. The bathroom had characteristics of Monterrey/California seaside towns, which was nice compared to the traditional hotel decor. The Comfort Inn in Monterey is in an excellent location, very clean & comfortable, and most of all has the best staff you'll find anywhere. I highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here the first night of the Big Sur Marathon weekend and found the property to be fairly comfortable, though clearly nothing special. The breakfast was more than adequate and the location, quite convenient. Overall, a option to consider for the value conscious traveler.

This hotel was better than I expected for the price. The building was outdated itself but my bathroom had been upgraded to tile and granite/quartz. The room was very clean with a fridge, microwave, coffee pot and hair dryer. The staff were very nice and went out of their way to help me and other guests. The only bad parts were about the building itself. […] The walls were pretty thin so we could hear voices next door, and the hotel (and all others along that part of the street) was under the entrance to the landing strip of the airport. I noticed that the planes only came in during the day, though. The grounds were very clean with gorgeous flowers all over the place. I didn't use the hot tub but wish I could' have. The room was clean but old (and old smelling). The microwave didn't work, but management replaced it immediately. The fire alarm didn't work either, but it was removed with no replacement (it went off and wouldn't shut off). My expectations weren't too high to begin with, but would stay there again in a pinch. I will never stay there again. I paid way to much for what I received. The beds were uncomfortable. The bath room shower faucet leaked. There were notices in three places in the room regarding the preservation of water. And we tried to get the leak to stop but was unsuccessful. It was difficult to turn on the shower. My 10 year old son couldn't do it […] by himself. The shower drain stop didn't work. The continental breakfast was really bad. The room was so small that you couldn't fit a queen size bed in there. There were only four very small tables for about 25 people. My family had to go outside and stand while eating breakfast. The amount of money I paid for one night on a weekday, was WAY TOO MUCH!! A good simple motel with breakfast included in rate. Situated between Monterey and Carmel and easy access to each by car. Nice flower baskets and trees around the parking area and front doors. Think maybe I should have booked the Carmel Comfort Inn as that is in walking distance of beach/restaurants etc.

Not in the centre of Monterey, so a drive needed to get anywhere. OK for an overnighter but not top-notch.

My wife and I stayed at the Comfort Inn for 1 night while attending the Monterey Beer Festival. The festival was held at the Monterey Fairgrounds, which were right across the street from the hotel, making the location absolutely perfect! The hotel has a cute outdoor hottub, which was awesome for winding down after a day of drinking beer in the sun! […] The room was immaculate, albeit a little on the small side, so it was definitely suitable for no more than a couple. Other than a Denny's and a pizza place, there are no dining or entertainment options around the hotel, so you do have to take a cab downtown. The front desk called one for us, it arrived in less than 5 minutes and cost less than $10 to get to the restaurants and bars near the downtown corridor. Unfortunately, we woke up too late to try the free breakfast. Overall, a great hotel for an unbelievable price. 더 보기

Fin beliggenhet i forhold til Laguna Seca og det er heller ikke langt inn til sentrum i Monterey, eller til kjøpesenter og butikker i Sand City. Rommene er ganske store og badet er fint. Det er veldig lytt, så dersom naboen har fest så har du det også. Kanskje spesielt dersom det er store race på Laguna Seca. De har noen boblebad og en badstu til fri […] benyttelse. Frokostrommet er lite og har få bord men frokosten er ok. Et ok alternativ for noen enkle overnattinger og lett å finne fra motorveien. 더 보기
