Excellent low budget hotel. Room we were shown on the 5th floor smelly but the receptionist moved us to a nice apartment on the 3rd floor which was an ideal base. Short distance from the Metro - using a Travel Card all of Budapest was only a few minutes away. Bar 3 doors down served excellent beer at bargain prices. The general area is very run down […] but should be better when the station renovation is completed. The hotel is very popular with student groups etc so a bit noisy sometimes. Would stay here again at these prices. Excellent restaurants nearby with reasonable prices - we even took spending money home! 더 보기

Way better than I expected for the price. Very conveniently located beside the main Keleti railway station. Clean, comfortable, helpful staff and a nice breakfast - all at a fantastic price. I was very impressed and have no hesitation in recommending this great value hotel.

Absolutely horrific. In a part of town far from everything, the mattresses feel as though they were made of flour and bugs were spotted in the room. No phone, and had to ask reception (that means going up two floors) daily for towels and the remote. Neighborhood surrounding poor - next to the stations, lots of drunks and homeless people. Avoid.

We chose Baross hotel for the proximity to the Keleti train station in Bupdatest, in order to catch an early morning train. It was very comfortable and quiet (we had a room facing the inner garden), all that for a small price. The hotel staff was very nice. It's a fair hotel and we were very happy with our choice. For the price this is ok. Hotel is on the 5th floor accessible by lifts. There are no double beds but twins that can be joined up ! Breakfast is very simple and lets the establishment down. Service is friendly enough.

This hotel was conviently located a short walking distance to the train & metro stations, the staff was very helpful with tours/money change/booking taxis etc. and the breakfast buffet was quite good. Downside was the bathroom was not very clean and the air conditioner was never able to cool off the room. Overall, I'd say my experience would match with […] its 3 star rating. 더 보기

I found the Baross to be a covenient hotel closs to onward travel conections,it was also a little small but friendly breackfast was a bit of a feast so allin all would be most happy to return. As for the location at the moment a new Metro line is being installed and the nearby Keleti station is undergoing renovation and will becomne a gem of architecture […] so currently a little grubby, 더 보기

My stay at the Baross City Hotel was good. The room was large and had all the comforts of a budget European hotel. The only tricky thing is the entrance due to the placement of the hotel's sign over a different busines. But once inside, everything's good. The breakfast was one of the best I had on my two week trip to Eastyern Europe.

A nice hotel close to the local metro where I was stung for twenty pounds for not stamping my ticket which I knew nothing about. The guard would not listen and it seemed like a scam to make money from tourists . That aside, the hotel and staff were very good and there is a host of small bars etc just outside.

We were very happy with our accommodation at this hotel. The room was a bit small but was very clean. Room cleaning and clean towels were supplied daily. Our room looked out over the courtyard which was lovely as there was no traffic noise and was very quiet at night. The staff on reception were very helpful and phoned restaurants for us whenever we […] wished. The breakfast was light but plentiful. Location wise it is about 15 to 20 minutes walk into the centre of the city which was ok. With an e-mail to the hotel a few days before our visit the staff arranged our bus transfer to and from the airport, which went very smoothly. A bit difficult to find the entrance though if you have not looked it up on the internet before you travel. All in all very good value for money in our opinion. 더 보기

This hotel was nice but the surrounding neigborhood not so good. It was directly across from the main train station that we needed to head to Vienna. I did not want to go out at night because of the surrounding area. The metro station was also near so that helped us get to the other areas. I would reccomend staying near the city center instead.

This is genuninely an exceptional hotel. Situated literally a stones throw away from the main train station and a pleasant 20min walk to central budapest this hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. 雑居ビルの上階にあり、わかりずらい。部屋は古いがきれい。スタッフは普通に丁寧な対応で、朝早かったが、朝食をパックにしてくれた。

Toppenläge för tågluffare med tung packning, dock 20 min promenad till centrum (finns bussar med...). Mycket trevlig personal och välordnat!

Baross City Hotel ligger tæt på metroen og man kommer nemt ind til City som kun ligger to stop fra hotellet. Selve hotellet ligger på 4.,5. og 6. sal. Der er pænt og rent på værelserne og personaler er meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Man skal dog være opmærksom på at der er meget lydt og at man kan høre naboerne på de andre værelser. Der er fin morgenmad […] med et pænt udvalg. Rigtigt fint hotel til pengene. Budapest er en rigtig dejlig by og hotellet ligger fint når man skal udforske byen. 더 보기

Ett helt okej hotell till mycket bra pris! Läget är inte optimalt, men en frisk promenad eller en billig taxiresa senare så är du i city center. Aningen konstig personal, men kan bero på att de inte var helt hundra på engelskan.

Netter Aufgang zum Hotel im 5.Stock. Wenn man zuviel gefeiert hat kann es schon passieren dass man den Eingang verpasst, der ist etwas unscheinbar. Es liegt direkt gegenüber vom Ostbahnhof und gut in Schuss. Mein Zimmer lag zum Innenhof und war sehr groß und leise. Das Frühstück konnte man essen. semplice,pulito silenzioso e comodo per visitare la città

Rent och fräscht för en billig peng. Frukosten som ingår är väl ingen superhöjdare: rostbröd, ost, skinka, yoghurt och en kaffemaskin. Men den dög och man blev mätt ändå. Vårt rum låg mot innergården och det var sjukt lyhört. Vaknade på morgonen av att städerskorna gick utanför. Och man hörde allt som pågick i rummen runtom. Ett i mitt tycke prisvärt boende i centrum. Just nu är det mycket byggnadsarbeten i omgivningarna och lite stökigt men det störde inte inomhus.

Hotellin sijainti oli aivan loistava, noin 300m päärautatieasemasta. Henkilökunta oli erittain palvelualtista ja kielitaitoista. Huone oli siisti ja rauhallinen huolimatta keskeisestä sijainnista. Kaiken kruunasi tosi monipuolinen ja maukas aamiainen. Suosittelen lämpimästi!!!

Hotel ist soweit Ok für eine Städtetour. Problem: es gibt kein Autogarge und man muss in ein anderes Hotel ausweichen zu sehr hohen Kosten. Am Abreistag wurden wir plötzlich mit einer Kurtaxe überrascht. War zwar nur ein kleiner Betrag aber, waren vorher nicht informiert.

Bodde på Baross City Hotell vid besök i Budapest för att se Ungern - Sverige EM - kval i fotboll. Ett helt OK hotell rent snyggt och med personal som pratar bra engelska. Nära till buss och tunnelbana. Lätt att orientera sig till på kartan. Tar gärna in på detta hotell igen.

Bodde på hotellet 17-21/8-2011, alltså 4 nätter och är helt nöjd! Rummet var stort, tyst och rent. Badrummet fint. Frukosten helt okej, framförallt om man gillar korv vilket kanske inte är min favvo. Kan inte säga så mycket om läget första gången jag var i Budapest och man går alltid väldigt mkt i en storstad. Men var vi än skulle kunde personalen i […] receptionen visa på kartan och tala om vilken buss, linjebuss, spårvagn el tunnelbanan man skulle ta. De hjälpte oss med allt och var helt fantastiska! Både priset, hotellet och frukosten var över förväntan. Incheckning gick snabbt och lätt. Vi är helt nöjda! Både med hotell och staden som sådan. Åk till Budapest! Du kommer inte att ångra dig! 더 보기

Udemærket hotel, som ligger tæt op ad stationen uden at det generer. Der er dog tynde vægge på hotellet, hvilket kan være generende hvis naboværelset har skruet op for tv'et. Udemærket morgenbuffet prisen taget i betragtning. Generelt et hotel vi godt kan anbefale til et kortere ophold (vi var der 3 nætter)

Baross City är ett slitet men fullt funktionellt hotell nära tågstationen keleti pu. Personalen är väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam, däremot kan inte själva rummen få samma höga betyg. Rummen är gamla, slitna och känns inte helt super-fräscha även om de såklart städas varje dag. Frukosten var helt okej, men för att vara ett hotell med 3 *** så ger jag […] sämre betyg. Aircondition utlovades också men fanns inte tillgängligt. Min allmänna uppfattning är att hotellet INTE bör få ha 3 stjärnor, max två. Rummen kändes mer som motell med en minibar. De skulle behöva en upprustning. Utifrån bedömningen med 3 stjärnor i åtanke får hotellet tyvärr väldigt lågt betyg. Finns hostel-sängar i bättre skick än de du hittar på detta hotell, och betydligt billigare. 더 보기

Si vous arrivez à Budapest et vous voulez sortir très tôt dissions en direction de Vienne, cette option à côté de la gare Keleti est à voir. Les environs ne sont pas terribles mais en marchant un peu ou en prenant le métro on arrive facilement au centre-ville, il y a des commerces, cafés et restos à proximité

Hotelli lähellä rautatieasemaa. Hieman vaikea havaita kadulta, vaikka ylempänä iso kyltti. Postitiivinen yllätys koko hotelli. Hyvä aamupala. Tilava huone ja kylpyhuone. Äänieristys ei kovin hyvä.Ystävällinen palvelu. Yövymme toistekin.

Grundsätzlich waren wir mit Lage und Service zufrieden, das Hotel an sich machte auch einen guten Eindruck. Leider war der Teppichboden in unserem Zimmer total "versifft" (fleckig und speckig). Keine Ahung wie die anderen Zimmer aussahen. alles andere war aber ok.

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel in der Stadtmitte mit guter Anbindung an das Verkehrsnetz. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal an der Reception

Nettes Personal an der Rezeption. Der Eingang des Hotels (sehr klein und inmitten von Geschäften nicht gut gekennzeichnet) und die Rezeption (5. Stock) ist nicht sehr gut beschriftet. Das Zimmer sehr geräumig und sauber und trotz Fenster zur Baustelle/Bahnhof nicht laut. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und ausgiebig.Das Gepäck konnte bis am NM kostelos deponiert […] werden. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä, hotelli rauhallinen liikenne ei häirinnyt. Hyvä aamupala. Airport Shuttlen käyttömahdollisuus. Ainut miinus oli äänien kuuluminen turhan selvästi viereisestä huoneeseen.

net en rustig hotel, centrale ligging bij treinstadion, prima eenvoudig ontbijt tot 11 uur. Voor korte stedentrip helemaal goed

Hotelli itsessään tosi fiksu. Ympäristö itsessään (asema) tosin ei paras mahdollinen.
