Overall the motel isn't too bad but it's currently (October 2011) being used to house several families who are sheltering there due to hurricane damage. Some of these folks are quite boisterous and there's plenty of drama to be had in the parking lot just outside your room. Also, the building was supposedly undergoing "renovations" but there was no […] evidence of active work being done. So no ice machine, no pool and no lavish extravagance in your room. The room itself was clean. The hotel in general was being rennovated so I can't really rate anything else.

I pulled into the parking lot, the hotel was under construction. I went to check in, front desk was rude. Went to room, it looked like someone manscaped themsleves in the shower, bed was unmade and room smelled like BO. I asked for a refund was told no and took myself to a best western.

Construction in area made it difficult to get to.Toilet in next room ran all night.Friendly staff.Clean room. Italian restaurant next door was good value and good food.Outside looks rough but they say they are under construction(never saw any workers).Would give it a 7 out of 10.

Good for the price. Resturant next to the hotel is very good

Hottest shower I ever had at a motel...appreciated at the end of a long day!

No luxury but just enough to have a comfortable and restful night with the added bonus of television, breakfast and a good price. And the Italian restaurant next door Rocks!!!

Room and bath were small. Breakfast choices consisted of 2 cereals and a few pastries, and they were out of something most of the time. Pillows were worn out. Room was clean, though. Manager couldn't help us with navigating the area.

sink stained, inadequate counter in small bathroom, faulty electric outlets for reading lamp, tiny deskspace, poor seating for reading

The hotel itself was good. We had some trouble with someone that was staying there having a party and it got pretty loud. The room looked like it was going through some repairs. When I asked for extra pillows they didn't have any.

The room was small and musty smell. We opted to depart early and not stay the second night.

Not as glitzy as the place we stayed in Boston a few days earlir for nearly three times the price, but very comfortable overnite stay with reasonable amenities and a fun view of the river. In-room coffee made up for the just adequate breakfast in the lobby. All were friendly. Not luxury but met all our needs at a good price.

Great Italian Restaurant next door with a great menue and fair prices.

If you travel by car and just need a room to sleep, then this place is really not bad. Granted that this is not the nicest and cleanest place on earth, but it's good enough for you to have a good-night sleep. There is a small pool, although I didn't use it myself, several kids seemed to enjoy it. We were pleased overall with our experience at the Super 8 Motel, but the pool was disappointingly small. It appeared much larger in the advertisement.

We stayed two nights. Our room was very clean and "roomier" than I expected, but bathroom was kind of cramped. Location is somewhat out of the way, but good for the money. Would definitely stay there again.
