I had to wait seven minutes for someone to come to the front desk and check me in. Turns out the desk clerk was doing double duty as maintenance. There were no working ice machines in the place. Basic hotel room. The breakfast could have been better. It only had doughnuts and regular coffee. I felt safe there traveling as a single female.

I enjoyed my stay and the staff was very polite and professional. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if the need arises

The maid needs to get a job in a garbage dump where cleaning is not required and i dint think they employ a maintenane man.

If I was looking for the top of the line hotel, I would get one. It's not the top, but for the price, you'll get a very competent hotel.

I love the beds. Usually a motel in this price range has cheap beds but the bed was wonderful. I would stay again just to get a good nights sleep on the bed.

I often travel to the Asheville area for work. This is by far the best hotel in this price range and the best value.

The hotel obviously needs refurbishing, however it was clean and comfortable. The associates at the hotel, particularly the lady on days, was extremely cordial and helpful and always pleasant. The gentleman on nights,was as well, pleasant, but as expected, not overly out going, which is ok. To sum it up, I am glad we stayed there and the price was right […] . The location of my hotel was suburb. But the lamps between the beds were giving off electrical sparks and the shower knob fell off in my hand. The beds were comfortable and the mini fridge and microwave were convientent and appreciated.

Staff was great and very accommodating. You can't beat this place for the price. Quiet and away from the main road just enough.

The hotel was in a good location Staff was great walls in room was nasty and maintance was poor. No water pressure in shower.

inexpensive nice place to stay---no frills---none expected

I did not have the option to request a non smoking room and when we checked in none were available. The room, although clean was permeated by the smell of smoke. We stayed for 2 nights and when we returned home our clothes smelled as if we had chain smoked for 2 straight days. Conveniently located but hidden behind the other hotels in this complex; use your GPS and a lookout to find this one. Near stores and a freeway ride from downtown this hotels is good basic accommodations. The beds could use an upgrade, but the staff make up for all the short comings. This hotel should not be stayed in! The non smoking rooms are no different than the smoking ones. The elevator stinks of cleaning products unable to overcome the stench of smoke recently deposited. The sheets are translucent in quality, maybe 80/inch. The mattresses sag. The staff is....there is no word to describe the service, bow bad it is. WORST HOTEL THAT I HAVE EVER STAYED!!!!!!!

Overall, no complaints. The hotel is on a side street and not seen from the main 4-lane. The lobby is very small, and it doesn't look like much from the outside. However, the rooms were very clean, in good repair (except for one non-functioning electrical outlet), and comfortable. No complaints. And the price was very reasonable. The a.c. in the room made noise all night long. The breakfast was donuts and coffee? Not exactly a continental breakfast.

This hotel was very dirty and not well maintained..will not stay again.

Pros: clean and quiet room with a nice tv. Cons: location is tucked away and hard to find in the dark

This is the worst experience I have ever had at a motel. The bathroom fixtures were all broken. They looked as though someone had tried to patch them. Very poorly though. The toilet leaked. The faucet in the shower did not cover the holes so as to be able to view the pipes inside the walls. Bedroom furniture was in disrepair. Trim stuck out from wardrobe […] creating a dangerous situation, especially in the dark. Dresser drawers did not close. My children had to move from their room due to a horrific burning smell. The room was nice but small. Too much in it for the size. We had two queen beds and the room was better suited for a king. Very friendly front desk personel. Lobby very small and unattractive.

Great experience. Very centrally located...easy access to everything. Rooms very clean and staff extremely friendly and right there to help. Great coffee and donuts in the lobby! Will stay here again and again. I recommend it to everyone.

Clean rooms, good service and within 15 mins of downtown.

This hotel provides a good, clean basic room at a very nice price. Good, strong shower. It is very convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway and NC Arboretum as well as to the waterfalls in the Brevard area. It is also a convenient 15-min drive (via either I26 or Rt. 191) to the downtown area. Unfortunately we were not able to get a non smoking room because of our late arrival - and im rather averse to the smell. So, we were greeted on the smoking FLOOR by a strong odor of smoke, a haze and a full ashtray by the elevator. Thankfully the room was less smoky than the hall, but needless to say I woke up with a scratchy throat and stuffy nose. […] Thankfully we were only passing through, otherwise I would have changed rooms. The staff were friendly, and appologized for the limited availability. There were complementary donuts in the morning along with juice and coffee... which was a nice way to start 10 hours on the road. 더 보기

Room small, but confortable.

Room was on 1st floor and smelled musty/moldy. Hair under bed sheets, overall feeling of uncleanliness. Other people's hair in shower and bathroom floor. Exhaust fan not working in bathroom, so was very muggy in the room. My wife didn't sleep, I got a couple of hours -- not good for traveling. I don't think there were any bedbugs, but wouldn't swear […] to it. Should have just gave up the money spent on this place and gone next door to the HI Express and paid whatever they wanted for a good room. 더 보기

We were pleased with everything and would return. It was quiet, clean and 2 queen beds. No problems.

Hotel was subpar. Air conditioner did not cool very well. The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable. They did not have a sign at the front door and it stood propped open the entire time we were there. I would have spent a little more for a better hotel.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel; we did like it. The hotel's wi fi is super nice and the cleanliness of the room is well-maintained. The only two downsides are the small size of the breakfast area (which is only furnished with two chairs) and the breakfas food which is simply donuts. I would still strongly recommend this hotel.

We had ant's in are room. Plus there was trash behine the Tv stand. I think that is were the ant's were coming from. The beds were nice. The room was over all nice for the price. Great location. Close to the NC Arboretum. Very nice and cheaper than the Biltmore. Also close to the start of the Blue Ridge Parkway and the new visitor center on the NC side. Staff very friendly and helpful.

we stayed for four nights and were comfortable the entire time. the "breakfast" is only coffee or tea, and one type of glazed donut, which was fine with me, i only like coffee in the morning, so amusingly scant. i will stay her again, good accommodations at a good price.

On my way to another destination, this was a great spot to stay! Clean rooms, and great tv.
