I was in the military active for 5 years never come across such a terrible hotel. Stay clear from this motel. Beware everybody, Pay a little extra to get a better room.

If you stay here, make sure you don't get a room at the end of the corridor next to the stairs. The stairwell door on my floor squeaked every time someone opened it, which was practically once every five minutes from 10 PM to 1 AM. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep.

Hotel was fine. Worth the money. Would stay again.

Service was great, was not impressed with the hotel or its location at all. Rooms are not very clean, and stairwells are disgusting. If you're looking for a vacation hotel, look elsewhere. For just a place to sleep for a bit, I suppose the price would make it worthwhile..

My boyfriend and I went to Asheville to hike and sight see. We literally stayed in the hotel to sleep and shower. Despite some negative reviews we read, we decided to give it a chance since we wanted to spend money on going out rather than a hotel. The hotel room was clean and we received fresh towels daily. The shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. […] We had a smoke-free room and it was just fine. The hallway did however reek of smoke, but I guess for the price you get all kinds of people. My biggest complaint: There was not a continental breakfast, though we thought they advertised one. It is also not within walking distance of bars or any decent places to eat. The hotel is a little hard to find, as it is behind a gas station. It is right across from a Cracker Barrel. So how shady of a spot can it be? Overall, I would stay there again because the price was decent and the hotel was clean and not in a sketchy area. 더 보기

This hotel was very inexpensive so you get what you pay for. Not the best for sure, but the staff was friendly and had a nice TV. The location was great with convenience store right outside the hotel and restaurants abound. Right off interstate. With more and more sprays that are hard on my health and the cover up of odors is no substitue for trashed out carpets and abused door hardware etc.

Dirty, smelly place. The bedbugs had breakfast, lunch, and dinner on me!

Other than the free WiFi, this hotel was the ultimate in bare bones with no amenities. The hotel staff at check in was very friendly and helpful. This is clearly an object lesson in "You get what you pay for."

Our room was right off the check-in hallway, so we heard people checking in at all hours and staff talking loudly. If you stood at the front desk and turned right, you could step into our room in less than ten steps. The outside wall backed up to the rear entrance, so we heard people slamming car doors, the building door, etc. The room was so small […] that there was no closet, only a mini rack with hangers right next to the bed, which took the space where there might have been a light. The room was also very dark (note lack of light on one side of bed because of hanging space). On the plus side, there were a good sized mini-refrigerator and a microwave that were very convenient. The only chairs in the room were two dining room-type chairs, so there was no comfortable place to sit. There was a desk, but no room for bedside tables, which would have been nice. The "complimentary breakfast" turned out to be coffee, orange juice or cranberry juice and Krispy Kreme donuts. The first night my husband went to the desk to see if he could get an extra pillow, and the desk clerk said, "Well, I don't know. We're pretty full tonight." The desk clerks during the day were much more helpful. I would not recommend this Rodeway Inn to anyone, and we will not stay here again. 더 보기

Great place to lodge while attending business or taking in Ashville. Low cost,clean, and good location.I will recomend.

The location isn't bad for Asheville. The hotel is a bit old. Sheets and beds are clean. Bathroom is clean. No hot water on last stay - more lukewarm. The hotel was booked up, which may explain that. I heard the smoking rooms/floor is worse, but what can you expect? Surrounding area isn't bad. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The room smelt moldy and there was holes in the wall. The bed mattress snak in the middle so we both ended up in the middle. Called front desk to change room but they were not helpful. We called around for another hotel but no rooms. We stayed here before and it was a nice place don't know what happened to it but we will not be back. Lobby was a mess […] and the clerk was busy watching TV till we got his attention so we could check in. Overall a very bad expeince. 더 보기

My stay was okay. I slept well. The personnel were courteous. The room appeared neat though there was a slight smell (musty?) in the room. I liked that the room contained a fridge and a microwave. Might stay there again.

LIGHTS FLICKERED AND SPARKS FLEW. NOTIFIED FRONT DESK THE SOLUTION WAS UNPLUG LIGHTS.

Hotel manager was not very friendly. Although she did let us check in an hour or so early. This place is what you would expect a small town hotel in the mountains to be like. Like i said...it was a place to sleep. Could use some TLC on the rooms tho.

I am going to be honest, the room was bad. I escaped the next morning as soon as possible and went elsewhere. The hallways were gross and tattered. The room looked to be redone at one time and the carpets were freshly cleaned. So fresh that they were wet and the room smelled like rotting carpet because no fresh air was pushed through the room. No screen […] in the window so you couldn't open it. The stairway to get to the room was gross also. I am a outdoor person and can deal with getting dirty and not showering, or washing for days. This was bad enough I felt like I had to wash my hands every time I touched a door knob or left my room. 더 보기

Lovely place and unfortunately we had to leave 1 day early due to a family member passing away-our daughter at College. But, the mgr at the above location was wonderful. We got a rufund on the night we did not stay. That is great customer service. We WILL be back again!

A very nice place. Our room however, was very noise as the bed was next to the stairway wall.

The room was kind of small - it would have been better with only one bed. Two beds crowded it. The only real issue was a broken ice machine, but the manager had a bag of ice for room use. Room was as advertised and the people were friendly. It was a good base for our exploration of the area.

Nice non expensive hotel. Quiet. Clean. Alot of restaurants in the area. They also have the most channels of any hotel I've stayed in, plus HD channels.

Clean, adequately sized room, decent shower and beds. Coffee, donuts and juice in the morning. About a 10 minute drive from downtown.

trucker hotel!!!!room had no air,was very nasty not clean,was not happy with hotel what so ever,they did give us another room with air .but they infested with roaches.hotel needs alot of work,only way up stairs is by the stairs so if on 3rd floor get ready to excersise.

Desk clerk was very helpful in letting me know what was fun to do in Asheville on a Friday night, breakfast bar was pretty slim, just glazed doughnuts, would like to have had a hot waffle! Overall was a nice place to stay.

It was interesting to me that there was a list of charges for all the items in the room and the sheets and blankets had a bunch of holes. The people were nice but the fridge was too small. And the rear outer door of the building would pull open easily with no key. Other then that it was very nice. THANKS!

Not a bad hotel for the money. Breakfast was a little disappointing. They served donuts and juice only. The beds were a little uncomfortable but it was clean. There was a small frig, coffee maker, and microwave in the room. Overall not a bad place to stay. I will be staying there again on another quick trip to the NC Mountains in August.

This inn is not pretty and there are trucks parked all around it. Back entry to our room was scary at night - not well lit, smoky, and seedy feeling. If there was any other hotel available and we were not exhausted from driving all day, I would have changed! This hotel really needs a face lift and better entries to improve its outer appearance... As […] my daughter had to go out to her car to unload several times, and it was dark, I only felt safe by watching her every minute out the window, which is not something you want to have to do. Fortunately, we felt safe enough after locking ourselves in the room. The actual room itself, although very small, was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a nice tub and shower --- the best thing about this place. We couldnt' wait to leave... This place is not a bargain! The hotel is not very clean, although my room was clean enough. I was very anxious to get checked out and away from the inhabitants of the hotel. The walls, door handles, etc. were very grubby and did not give an overall feeling of safety or cleanliness.

A sticky, wet substance on the beds, carpets, and blankets. Smelled like a dead hooker. We had 3 rooms, all were nasty... The doors didn't close properly because they had been kicked in. The toilet didn't flush in one of the rooms. The sink didn't drain in one of our rooms as well. My wife is emotionally scarred... This hotel is very affordable. The rooms are small and the exterior is bare bones, but it was comfortable and clean with a microwave, fridge, and flat screen TV. Would stay there again.

The hotel was old and could stand some minor repairs, but the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.

Accomodations were suitable for our needs but we were told they had a pool, and continental breakfast. We never saw a pool and the breakfast was Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and coffee or juice only. The morning staff was very pleasnat and helpful. Overall we would stay there again, just now we know what to expect.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Hotel was of decent quality and condition. The only drawback was the lack of elevators and our room was on the third floor.

Will not stay at this hotel again.

Upon check in, Deanna at the front desk, was a delight. She helped us with information and made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable, and even though our room was near the front desk area, it was relatively quiet. The breakfast was a disappointment, just juice, coffee and doughnuts. I made a request for decaf coffee which they did not readily […] have. The staff went out of their way to get some and made it specifically for me. The hotel is on a highway that leads to the Smokey Mountain National Forest. The highway goes through small towns and is charming. Access to downtown is also convenient. 더 보기

Very basic hotel. Clean with WS TV, small fridge, microwave. No lobby and just a donut for Continental Breakfast. Still, the room was comfortable.
