No shampoo or blow dryer in room, really? There wash dishwasher soap but no shampoo. Went to front desk to ask for some. She gave me some shampoo and a blow dryer but she said they didn't carry hair conditioner. Really? Weird. I'd rather pay $1.50 more for my stay to have these items in my room.

Room was nice size great location also. Emily at the front desk was very friendly. Only complaint we had there was milk and oj in the fridge. Garbage in a garbage can and an empty 12 pk box of coke which Emily came up and got for us.

I was truly dissatisfied.

The room was ok, but the atmosphere was a little "low class". The place smelled like smoke, all down the hallway, and into the room. People obviously smoke in this place. Yuck!

Women at desk was very friendly & welcoming. Bed was very comfortable. Did not want to use dishes without cleaning them myself first as they did not appear clean. The room worked perfectly for what we wanted it for which was a one night stay w fridge & comfy bed.

The room was large with a nice Kitchen and small dining table. The beds were great along with TV and Recliner. Also a large bath and shower. No odors or visible dirt... Would stay here again. Tex

The value of the Extended Stay America is very good. You get a nice big room with a kitchen, 2 premium channels with good channel selection, a recliner, a desk/table with 2 chairs. The beds were comfortable. The area where the hotel is in South Bend/Mishawaka is highly retail so it is very convenient to shopping. I picked due to I could have my dog and location good on a basic 7 hour stay... I could wrrite my name on dust on door. bed uncomfortable. small outdated tv with minimul channels and a used condom under the bed. Thank goodness i brought my own sheets and blankets! and the noise. This was nice, clean, and very conveniet to get to ND. Would definitely stay again.

Just like to say that the hotel staff were very nice and courteous, had a problem with my room key, would not open my door, went downstairs and advice the hostess and she came directly to my rescue, Mrs Fix it, she fixed the problem quickly, I was able to get into my room and have a good nights rest, very pleasant staff at this location, would recommend […] this hotel to others, will stay again if I'm over that way. 더 보기

My room was gross. The counter had crumbs all over it and coffee stains as if it hadnt been wiped clean. The hallways smelled like smoke even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room, it still smelled.

The price was great for the room; however, the entire facility smelled as if everyone in the area was smoking. Although my family and I do not choose to smoke, it smelled as if someone were standing next to me in the room smoking. The smell of cigarette smell was overpowering and really ruined the overall uniqueness of the facility. Hotel was adequate. Did not expect the finest accomodation for the amount I paid.

Really impressed by the rooms including the full kitchen. Nice and clean and very very reasonably priced!

The hotel is fine for the cost. It was extremely reasonable cost wise for a special event weekend for Notre Dame. The beds were comfortable, but very basic. The old-timey punch card thingie for opening doors was a bit cranky at times -- it would be nice if they updated that. Otherwise, a nice place, and esp. at the price I paid.

The rooms on my floor were non-smoking rooms, but someone continually smoked in their room. I mentioned this to the hotel and I'm not sure if they addressed the issue with the offender.

Room keys did not work, and that was never resolved. No shampoo in the room.

Somehow missed that smoking was allowed. There was strong smell of smoke as soon as we walked in the lobby and through out the hotel/ room. I developed a headache within half an hour. The floor felt tacky like hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There were painting fumes that mixed with the smoke to add annoyance. Hotel was little old and it appeared it was less on staff. The trash bin was completely full and was overflowing.

I had reserved two rooms. When I came to check in, they didn't have any rooms available and send me to a sister hotel where they only had one room left. After much complaining and calling the manager and an hour later, they managed to find me the two rooms at the original hotel. Never have I had such a bad experience with any hotel chain that I felt like complaining. The check in process was fine, but the room I was put was skipped from the housekeeping list for cleaning. Then they tried 2 more times to put me in rooms that were already occupied. I finally settled for a smoking room which wasn't what I wanted, but it was at […] least clean. Biggest problem I have with the Extended Stay in Mishwauka, along with other ESA's is their unwillingness to trash the antiquated tv's and to install some modern flat screen tv's. I know for fact that several tv's at the Mishwauka site have been upgraded...but why the wait?

My only issue was they do not provide wake-up calls. However the alarm clock worked. I travel alot and have found that I can not always trust the clocks. Plus I hardly ever check them.

The room was an exceptional deal for the money, and very clean. There are plenty of chain type places to eat around there, and, of course, you could cook in the room if you chose. It was much quieter than a number of motels/hotels we have stayed in recently that cost far more. The desk clerk was very helpful. We will use it again.

There is no excuse for a room to stink of cigar smoke. Futhermore, there is no excuse for handicap accessible rooms not to be cleaned and available. I travel to South Bend very regularly, and I will be hard pressed to stay at this ES America
