I have to say I do believe the reviewers who gave this place more than an adequate were paid to write a good review. The person who wrote "It reminded me of a one bedroom cottage." Come on. Really? At least you made me laugh. Reality, maybe there are better rooms in the place, the one I got was next to two guys who smoked pretty continually outside […] their rooms who I believe must live in them full-time. You could do this, since there is a little kitchen. The decor is old floral posters that I remember from the 70's, faded and ironically, obviously screwed to the walls. I took some pictures since I was in shock and it made me laugh. The shower looked scary, I didn't use it. No plug in the sink. The peephole was broken in the door so couldn't see out. The pillows were lumpy, but I always bring my own. The flooring made me nervous, I wouldn't walk barefoot. The free breakfast took up a counter about 3 feet wide. The bed surprisingly comfortable and I guess that is really all that matters in the scheme of things. The price was good, that is about it. Oh, kudos to the photographer who took the pictures of the room on this website. REALLY well done, kind of like glamour shots (reality different than the picture). 더 보기

Clean rooms, safe neighborhood, good rates, I would recommend to anyone.

The hotel room was not cleaned when we arrived. The sheets were dirty and there were hair on the bed. When we asked the staff for another room, the manager told us that the hotel is packed and there's no other rooms available yet parking lot is mostly empty. We asked the manager to give us new sheets so we can change ourselves the manager slammed the […] door on us....terrible service and I would not recommend the stay for anyone... 더 보기

I had read other reviews of this property that complained about the odor in the rooms. They are correct, the smell is very strange and greatly effects the quality of this Inn. I will not stay there again, unless it is proven to have remove the odor. Otherwise, this could be a nice place for a short visit.

This was the worst place that I've stayed with hotels.com. the room was small and smelled. the bed was suppose to have been a temper-pedic bed. My back and hip were sore the next morning. Very noisey, people walking and parking in front of the room. Would not recommend. Plus they charged more than a 3 star hotel!

I didnt have any expectations but this location surprised me. The location felt safe to me. The external motel look was a bit worrisome but the location and the feel of safety offset that. I walked into the room and thought i was a nice room. A bit smaller then I'm used too but it was great for the price. I would stay there on my next trip to the bay area for work.

Room was OK, location was great for our needs. Bedding and towels were clean & fresh. Shower showed signs of mold, and would be fine for anyone under 5 feet and 100 pounds - anyone else will be unhappy with the shower. The bathroom generally lacked storage. The room did have a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot.

Just wouldn't even attempt to considering reschedule of initial reservation.

Pleasant hotel in pleasanton ca, friendly staff, clean, simple, quiet and comfortable.

Could not tolerate this room at all. Took two steps into the door and the smell of whatever they clean with was so atrocious it immediately sparked a migraine. Then the bed was noticed. Dipping in the middle and unfit for anyone to sleep on. Immediately gave the keys back and left.

Nice place! Room is laid out so I couldn't hear any neighbors. Decent location, really nice staff. Other than breaking up with my girlfriend, this trip was cool!

This is an okay hotel and, it was an okay stay. The hotel is very convienent to the neighborhood and easy to find. The rooms were comfortable however, the pillows were lumpy and the bathroom was very small. The bed was comfortable and easy to fall asleep in. The carpet was sticky in places and I would not recommend walking barefoot, or in socks on it. […] the refrigerator was working and very clean. I would rate this hotel a 3. Friendly staff, no breakfast or workout center. Danish and coffee in the morning is NOT a continental breakfast. Cheaply priced and I guess it was worth the cheap price I paid. Chose this hotel purely based on price and location, as I was participating in a triathlon at Shadow Cliffs Regional Park. Arrived at 9PM, slept a few hours, left at 5AM- It was fine for a few hours of sleep and quick shower after the event. Not a place I'd go on vacation (then again, who vacations in Pleasanton?) It was a great room-not huge but we only slept there so it was great for what we needed. Very clean. Very Very quiet-no freeway noise since it is far away from the freeway. Bring your own pillow though-they have typical hotel pillows! ;o) Will definatly stay there next year when we attend the games.

This is a smaller property, which I prefer because it is easy to get in and out. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Some rooms have small kitchens that would work well for an extended stay.

Outdated Norman Bates style motel, way over priced. Noisy air conditioner and tiny bathroom. Shower is a 3 foot square. Bed very sluggish.

We booked this room so we could have a nice, quiet place to rest after we took the BART to the Bay area. There are parking spaces RIGHT IN FRONT of each room...I mean, literally, once you walk about 3 feet outside the room, BAM!, there's your car. One thing's for sure, after a long walk in the San Franciso area, the close proximity from the parking […] lot to the room was very much a welcoming experience to my achy feet/legs. The room wasn't too shabby for the price either. They provided Pantene shampoo which was great considering that's what I use. We just wish there was a bathtub instead of just the standing shower. The hotel description indicated that they have Tempur-Pedic mattresses in all of their rooms-- they do not. They do not have memory foam mattresses in any of their rooms according to the hotel staff and they seemed to be completely unaware of the fact that their description stated so. I hope that this has been removed from their description. The rooms […] have been remodeled recently, so the furniture and cabinets looked good. The carpets had lots of stains and the mattress (not memory foam) was probably 10 years old. Oh, and although the rooms have a kitchenette, they have no utensils, plates, cups, etc, (he cupboards are completely empty) so I'm not sure what good the kitchen is unless you typically travel with a full array of kitchen supplies. If not for the misleading information about the mattresses, I would have been satisfied with the accommodations, considering the low price. If you you just need a place to crash and mattress comfort or cleanliness is not of concern, this hotel is a good bargain. 더 보기

This place was convenient when I first looked for a place, the surround area had quick places to grab a bite if you you to within walking distance. They fully respect your privacy. the room weren't great but weren't terrible for the price they charged.

My first night was good. A good clean room. A littel out dated but for one night it was good. My second night was just bad. The iron borad fell a part. When I called the front desk the young lady had no clue as was what to do. The TV was set in a dark corner way back for me to watch. I had to move the chair to even see it. Bed hard, unpainted hole patch on wall, cigarette burn hole in chair, iron but no ironing board. Terrible coffee (was like brown water-no flavor), no milk for cereal. Flip side room was clean and shower was very hot and very clean.

No sheets or pillows for sofabed, sofa sank in the middle uncomfortably, no dishes, servingware, or cookware in kitchenette (most people don't pack this stuff), toilet seat slid around, closet door was propped up (couldn't slide), can hear neighbors and parking lot, Wi-fi access didn't work, and no dvd player. If you practically only need to sleepover, this is definitely a good choice! Our room was small, however it had everything you need. Queen size bed, clean sheets, 2 night stands a small desk, cable TV, coffee maker, microwave oven. A/C/H system, super clean bathroom and room in general. Quiet neighborhood, but it is located on a main street, so you could hear cars passing by from time to time, for me it doesn't represent any problem, maybe for light sleepers. Nice hotel but needs a little updating. I would stay there again with no question. But my room did need a paint job and the bathroom faucet fell apart when I turned it on. I fixed it myself. Once again nice hotel.

I really like this hotel very much.... i got an up grade when i check in an that was a plus too it was my birthday wkd too :) thanks for that. My stay was very, very quiet day an nite. The location was a great spot close to the mall an fwy so that is a plus to an they also had plaza's close to if youare not a mall person. I was extremely pleased with the price and accommodations at the Tri Valley Inn. It was walking distance to restaurants, coffee houses, and grocery. The rooms, although older, are comfortable and clean. The office staff is very friendly.

The Tri Valley Inn is a great place to stay in Pleasanton. It is in a great location which is walking distance from anything you may need. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. A great value for business or pleasure.

The location of the hotel was in a good spot. Nice surrounding area. The room we had was very small. Bathroom and shower were tiny. Beds were comfortable but not exceptional. TV was good but small. Slept well but were awaked at 6 AM by banging noises coming from the water lines. Could not sleep any longer so we got up and left. it was not luxurous but it was right for the price, confortable and nice staff service. It is not the right for romance but for short stay it is perfect

The bed was comfortable and the little kitchenette was fine but needed some updating. The pillows were horrible so bring your own next time.

We were quite satisfied with out stay. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The shower was small but adequate. The breakfast was adequate. The staff was courteous. The location was good. We were pleased with our choice of motels. Thank you for being there.

For our needs, this property was convenient, clean, and well served by the management. They were in the process of upgrading their cable service, so the amenities continue to improve. There's a pool available for the hot weather of Pleasanton in the summer, so that's nice. The parking, too, was conveniently available right next to the room so that was […] easy to get in and out on the colder/rainier days of our stay. There are two shopping-centers nearby with Safeway, Walgreens, Starbucks, convenience marts, a bagel shop, etc. within easy walking distance. That was more than enough choice for the six members of our party while visiting nearby family. The price was reasonable for our extended stay, too.
