Overall I enjoyed my stay here. Our room was big and bed was comfortable. Bathrooms were clean as was the rest of the room. My only complaint and it's a big one to me was our room was on the first floor (not a great view of the ocean plus anyone could have jumped a small balcony and walked right in if we left the sliding glass door open). For the price i paid for both nights it was good just ask for any room but 105. As for location it was great. Only a mile away from the new ferris wheel (SkyWheel), and maybe 5 minutes from Broadway at the Beach. Tanger Outlets was only a 15 minute drive so for location this place was great. 더 보기

I stayed here for two nights. Overall, comfortable. They do not have a restaurant on-site, but they do have a very friendly concierge who recommended a wonderful seafood restaurant about 5 blocks away. Since I was staying for business, I really just needed a place to crash after a long day at the conference center.

OK, but question whether the cost was worth the stay. Understaffed for 'two weeks of their busiest times of the year". Did not get our room cleaned the first day -- had to ask for towels at 4 in the afternoon. The remaining days were 'hit and miss' -- vacuumed & wiped down the bathroom, but late in the afternoon, did not replace all the towels, no in […] room coffee, etc. etc. Then the air conditioning unit stopped working -- not comfortable with a maintenance man in our room. Found a wallet on the beach; turned out the person was staying at the hotel, but the person at the front desk would not go 'out of their way' to make sure the wallet was returned -- probably still in their 'lost and found'. Our 1 week stay was in Myrtle Beach was supposed to be non stressful. When you stay in a hotel you expect your room to be taken care of daily. The only thing that was done in our room was the bed made every day. To start with, the first night we called front desk for a cork screw, they said they don't have one and offered no help whatsoever, just a […] plain NO we don't have one. The first morning we got up there was coffee but nothing to stir it with. The second day there was no coffee and no hand towels. Thus 3 phone calls already to front desk. This continued all week, needless to say calls to front desk every day. When you pay for a room you expect to be taken care of and have items replaced daily. Very disappointed with their housekeeping and the help of the front desk. Will think twice about returning, we get better service at all inclusive resorts it Mexico or Dominican for the same price that we paid to stay at this hotel. 더 보기

While the hotel was clean and comfortable there were no amenities available in the hotel except for vending machines.

I should've asked however, I became very familiar with the term ocean VIEW vs ocean front. convenient location between the heart of myrtle beach and north myrtle. would come back for another stay in an ocean front room.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel, if you would like a comfortable and relaxing vacation.

Great location on the beach and close to the Convention Center. Bed was king size and comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. All the good things you would have in a hotel room. We couldn't get any sleep because of the heater in the room. The thermostat is too close to the heater. The hotel staff was great, we had booked an oceanview suite. The only complaint I have is that the kitchen in the suite had some very old appliances, and only one burner was actually installed in the stove. The rest looked like they had been removed for cleaning but were not re-installed correctly. Other than that it was pretty good.

I was under the impression that I would be getting an ocean front room but instead got a partial ocean view. After speaking with the front desk they offered no other option after I expressed that I was disappointed.

Hotel just appears to be a little tired. No on site restaurant or bar. Regular pool is outdoors, which it didn't say. They hadf a guy there trying to sell condo's next door, who was a little pushhy.

When we arrived, we were placed into the smallest room we have ever experienced at a hotel. When we complained, we were given a much nicer room. From that point on, our only real complaint is that they charge for valet service, but if you do not want valet service, the guest does not have access to the luggage carts. Hotel was nice but its separated in to three different buildings and the parking garage is two streets over.

There is an old section of the hotel (the 9 floors above reception) and another newer tower to the side which has ~15-20 stories. The older section shows it age with limited WIFI reception, bunker-like rooms and very questionable elevators that creak and bump their way along. We stayed here twice in December and had an oceanfront room. The view from the balcony was really good the first time, blocked by another building the second time. There were guests slamming their doors which really creates an echo in the hall. The staff are very friendly and accommodating though. The decor in the rooms is casual/beachy, the towels […] are nice but the soap was drying to me. The body lotion however was great, light and lime scented. It is an easy walk down to the sand, and there is a pool which we didn't use. They don't provide breakfast in this location although I think that there is one farther north that does. They have a business center with unlimited internet and printer use, and free coffee 24/7. Richard was especially helpful to me during our separate stays, in fact we cancelled our room in Savannah to stay here for another night. They provide free parking in the garage across the street and security guards, I'm guessing around the clock. Overall it was an extremely pleasant stay. 더 보기

We were in Myrtle Beach for two days and enjoyed the visit! The Carolinian was a great place to stay. The room was clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. I recommend this place to anyone!

the hotel is nice its a litlle out dated and needs remodeling, but i was satisfied with what i got

Hotel was very nice. Only complaint was the sofa was old and had a smell. We had a leak one of the bathrooms; which was fixed very quickly. The people at the front desk were very polite and ready to assist in any way.

Very nice hotel. Staff very friendly. What staff we saw. Really only dealt with the check-in person. Only thing lacking was a continental breakfast . Would have been nice. I didn't realize they didn't have one til I had already booked. Enjoyed our stay.

Each fall and winter we make numerous trips to Myrtle Beach for 1 or 2 nights stays. The Carolinian is part of our ritual each year. The service, staff and management make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and the location is excellent. We would not stay in any other hotel.

I only stayed one night, and I just was married. The view was mindblowing. The room was nice and clean, the bed was one of the best beds.

The hotel is a little older an showing some wair but it was an excelent place to stay.

Hotel was dated - interior rooms and bathroom need updating. Rug needed to be replaced, walls redone, ceiling had a stain. Bathroom floor needed updating. I'll begin with the pluses first: great location on the strip; great view (if you get oceanfront); and friendly staff. Minuses - needs remodeling (the efficiency units); elevators need maintenance; enough "extra amenities" to accommodate guests (I will explain). I wish that the advertisements(s) for the hotel would have clearly stated that there's […] both a hotel tower and a suite tower. If you select anything OTHER than a 1 - 3 bedroom suite, you will be staying in the older, less than current hotel tower which appeared to have mold growing behind one of our beds. Although it comes with a flat screen TV and decent kitchenette, this space is no more than an over-rated average, run-of- the-mill hotel room. In addition, this building has extremely slow elevators. One was completely out of service during the busy check-out hours on my last day of stay. We were left with one turtle's pace elevator to service 10 floors of guests w/ luggage; guests w/ beach equipment; and hotel staff w/ cleaning carts UGGGHHHH!!! BWC advertises that it has beach chairs and umbrellas for rent (on a first-come, first-served basis...which is cool). HOWEVER, they don't specify that there are only about 2 -5 umbrellas to service all guests!!!! The hotel also doesn't have enough blankets to service all guests and you may have to wait until someone checks out to get one (weird). As it did not meet my expectation and my stay at BWC was less than stellar, I still had a wonderful time at the beach! Again, the hotel's location was terrific and the view from the balcony was awesome. I will say that we won't be staying at the BWC (hotel side) again. The resort tower may be better, but don't waste your hard-earned money on the hotel tower....STAY ELSEWHERE!!! 더 보기

We planned a last minute trip just to get away. The hotel staff was very polite, cost a little pricey for what you get in the room. The room was clean but I found stains on the carpet and the comforter was dirty. So I felt somewhat uncomfortable about sleeping in the bed. This was a great location right on the beach but the room was tiny! We wanted to take a look at the room before confirmation and the elevator broke and we had to walk down 6 floors. Needless to say we didnt want to stay but they offered us a room on the second floor which was much better but exactly the same size room. There was no breakfast or restaurant […] close for meals. FYI, they do not change their sheets but every 3 days. We had sand in the sheets on our first night stay. We will not be returning to this hotel. Parking deck was always full but you didnt know that until you drove up all the way to the top. Checkin staff was rude. Took 3 requests for new sheets and security guard delivered them.

Only thing that bothered me were the guys on scooters pulling little trailers, selling ice cream and playing loud, irritating calliope music […] to attract the kiddies. They pull into the parking areas next to the hotel and blast out the music: Mary Had a Little Lamb, Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (in July!). Enjoyed Water Park-beach was wonderful. The elevator in the main Hotel was a disappointment. Turns out it was some of the maids holding the elevator while they chatted while guests waited for them to finish their talk. Besides the issues with elevators and maids (I saw this as I used the stairs after I checked in due to long delays) stay was good. The […] use of the beach chairs was a plus offered by the Hotel. This hotel does not care about their guest. Our room was nasty and smelled really bad. This room they finally put us in had glass on the floor and my husband cut his foot open. No one has called us about his injury.
