My kids and I had a great time because we will have a great time anywhere in spite of the following issues which can be pretty big any time but especially on vacation in Mexico. The beds were so bad even my limber kids had bach aches. the pillows were like cinder blocks and those are the soft ones we requested after the first night. How about no doors […] or the bathroom. In forty years of staying in hotels all over the world that is a first. Very strange to be in Mexico and the resort doesn't have corn tortillas. Only gross flour ones. Most nights the pica de gallo would run out and it would take constant requests to get them to prepare more. Same goes for the guacamole. The beach toys , such as the boogie boards, were so limited that my kids had to wait by the rental house for over a half hour most days to wait for others to bring them back. Overall it was the type of place that could be great if management could be aware of what people come there for. such as hoping there would be enough pool chairs for the guests. It's really no fun to go someplace and feel as though you have to be a complainer. After going to different places in Mexico for over 30 years you understand that things will not be as they could be but this hotel seemed to have more of those things than need be. but like I said we made the best of it and had a great trip. After all we go for the beach, the waves and the sunshine and those were at full force. 더 보기

Overall we were happy with the resort and the quality of food and service. However, more restaurants need to be open for breakfast. Most mornings, people were having to wait too long in lines, for service and some people were very upset. The rooms were very clean and personnel was very helpful. The hotel's food was horrible. At an all-inclusive resort, I'd say its very important that you enjoy the food you have alreayd paid for and need to eat. The rooms were o.k., but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The pools were nice and the beach was great. But i would have prefered to be at one of the nicer neighboring Riu's.

Incredible! Wonderful staff from the front desk to check out, really remarkable people. We felt so welcome. Thank you, all. Vacations are a treasure in these hard financial times. It was well worth every peso. Very family oriented. Great food. Fun entertainment. Best by far.

This hotel was not good at all. We had ants in our room, the food and service was not good, kids were everywhere. Most of the shows were in Spanish when they ere suppose to be in both Spanish and English. It was so extremely hot there and the only place to get an ounce of AC was in our rooms. booked 3room with 2beds in each room and was given 2rooms with 1bed and 1room with 2beds when asked the front desk for a change we were told they were booked solid and the rooms accommadated us fine :( But, i have to say the next day we were given what we asked for :)

During my stay, the hotel was too crowded consecuently the service was not very good. The hotel needs to hire more staff to keep up with the occupancy. The last two days of my stay the main pool was extremelly dirty. The hotel doesn't provide with enough parking...... The food is very good and the staff was very pleasant but very busy.....

Contrary to the nice pictures the hotel was certainly not what we expected, it was so crowded, we could not enter the pool, went back to the room and checked out to Westin .

This was an AMAZING experiance! The only minor thing I could say is that it is not very conveniently located. It is about a 30 min drive to downtown Vallarta. Keep in mind that there is absolutely no reason to leave the hotel since everything you may need is included; whole family entertainment, food, drinks, pool and beach. Cockroaches in the restaurants. and terrible customer service. Pool was FILTHY, and "Jacuzzi" was cold. No variety in food. very bland. Left home with food poisoning and severe dehydration! Do not visit.

Excellent service. Great entertainment and great selection of food, with intrically designed food scupltures. Well-maintained property and expansive courtyard. Other travelers who had been to other properties said in comparison, Riu Jalisco was the best. This being our first trip to Mexico, we were extremely satisified with the value and services.

We traveled with 2 kids under 7 and had a great time. The kid's entertainment was suited perfectly and their service was great and accomodating. We loved the grounds, the beach and the pools. We loved the service, but be sure to tip. I think that is why we got great service. The rooms were nice especially the additional towel creatures they create, […] and the cleanliness The only downer we experienced was the same food for 7 days. We ventured down town PV via the bus (get the bus schedule) which is much cheaper than a taxi. All in all a great stay, just mix up the food choices a bit 더 보기

Hotel is ok for the $$$, try the asian restaurant is the best or I should say is the better one. The Brazilian style restaurant is not even worth your time. Beach was our best place to hang out because the pools were very crowded. If you rent a car, good luck finding a parking spot. i guessed when they designed the hotel they expected everybody to arrive […] by plane so there was no thought on building a parking lot. We had an excellent time while staying at the Riu Jalisco from the moment we checked in until the time we checked out. I enjoyed the fabulous beach (very clean) and all the amenities the Hotel had to offer. I wish we would have stayed for a few more nights (we stayed 5 nights and 6 days) there was so much to do and the kids had a great time. This was […] truly a fabulous hotel and the pictures online are much like the actual ones but once you get there you feel the real warmth of welcome and the warmth of the climate. Everything was great, great atmosphere, fun, food was OK better than expected, the only negative thing was the parking, I rented a car and it was a pain to get parking, other than that everything was awesome.

el hotel hermoso, la habitacion limpia y comoda, pero no me gusto el servicio del restauran español apagan la plancha y te dejan si desayuno, por las prisas de limpiar le pegaton con una jarrita de leche a una de mis amigas y le tiranon la leche encima, de plano no nos dieron la oportunidad ed desayunar el retauran de la playa por el contrario los meseros […] atentos, y todo el tiempo pñodiamos comer al menos una ensalada, solo nota mala al restauran español :) 더 보기

Fabulosa

El hotel esta en muy buenas condiciones, la comida muy buena y muy variada, la bebida, de todo había. La alberca agua limpia y temperatura agradable, en general muy completo, se los recomiendo

En general el hotel y los servicios muy bien, únicamente el horario para desayuno de unos de los restaurantes se me hizo un poco limitado (para los que se levantan tarde) pero en general muy bien!

el hotel es bueno, la comida regular a veces muy repetitiva y en mi habitación me encontré una cucaracha

El Riu Jalisco que yo pagué estaba sobrevendido así que me hospedaron en el Riu Palace que es mucho más lujoso y cuesta el doble. Así me las gasto yo con la suerte. Este comentario va para el Riu Palace ya que el Jalisco sólo lo vi por fuera. Suerte a todos. Bien por hoteles.com

El hotel se había caracterizado por ser un excelente hotel, pero en esta estancia hubo varios problemas que dejaron ver que los superó la demanda: a pesar de que reserve en enero, me dieron la última habitación del 6o, piso, sin puerta en el baño, sólo me surtieron el frigobar hasta el cuarto día, la habitación no tenia plancha, en el hotel no había […] lugar para estacionar mi carro, frecuentemente no encontraba lugar para desayunar y cuando encontraba lugar no había servilletas, entre otros. 더 보기

Todos los servcios muy bien. Todo estubo perfecto en mis dias de estadia. Ya habia conocido el RIU de Mazatlan. y no queda la menor duda que me instalo en cualquier Hotel RIU.

Desgraciadamente en el cuarto que me dieron estaba un refrigerador que hacia demasiado ruido y no nos dejó dormir el primer día lo reportamos esa noche y no hubo nadie que remediara esa situación, hasta que se presente un guardia del hotel y desconectó el refrigerador. al día siguiente se le reportó al gerente y dijo que lo iba a cambiar, pero esto […] nunca sucedió en los 7 dias que pasé en el hotel, no pudimos tomar ningún refresco o cerveza porque estaban calientes 더 보기

Excelente atencion del personal. La comida bien, variada, tal vez le falta un poco de sabor, pero aceptable. Restaurantes amplios y comodos, aún para la cantidad de gente que habia por ser temporada alta. Las bebidas excelentes y variadas. La playa lo mejor. Las instalaciones excelentes. Me gustaron las intalaciones del hotel, el buffete muy variado y rico. No me gustó que el agua de las albercas estaba muy fria, incluso los grincos se quejaban de ésta situación.

es la segunda vez que voy en el año,se los recomieendo por bueno , bonito y buen precio. espero ir para el proximo año

el unico detalle que vi, es que no hay baño en los restaurants, hay que ir al lobby y como q eso no me encanto, pero muy muy buen servicio, mil gracias. Muy buenas vacaciones.

Definitivamente no regreso nunca, tiene reglas pero no las aplica por ende la gente visitante mexicana las rompe en cada momento y es incomodo vacacionar así. Niños en el bar, aventándose clavados en la alberca, bebes sin pañales especiales para alberca, la mesa de pin pong usada como comedor, gente cantando en las habitaciones, etc, etc. Si quieren […] ir a descansar definitivamente este no es el lugar ideal. RIU es una cadena de calidad, por lo tanto es lo que debe ofrecer ( menciono que ya acudi a esta cadena en cancun y los cabos ),,y en lo que dista mucho de hacerlo este establecimiento RIU CLUB JALISCO en Puerto Vallarta.. las instalaciones como siempre buenas y el personal de entretenimiento excelente, pero dejan muchoque desear en servicio de bares […] y restaurantes, el personal de mal humor, irrespetuosos, como haciendose los gerentes ellos mismos para servirte, y la comida especialmente en restauran Nayarit (que es donde se desarrollan todas las comidas principales entre las 12 hrs y las 15 hrs aprox) , fria, pesima en sabor, pastas crudas, y mala en higiene , sucia la cocina y chico el lugar... No deseo agregar mas pero en este hotel si se ve que discriminan en servicio a la gente , esto comparandola con los otros dos hoteles RIU en Vallarta ,,,y no deberia de ser, ya que estas pagando por cualquiera de los tres servicios... 더 보기

NUESTRA ESTANCIA FUE MUY CONFORTABLE LOS EMPLEADOS ESMERADOS EN SERVICO Y LA COCINA BUFFETE DE LO MAS VASTO EN PLATILLOS Y SAZON

Para empezar la habitacion no estaba limpia correctamente, tenia pelos en la ducha, las sabanas y colchas olian muy mal, la comida del restaurant cruda, tuve que ir a comer fuera del hotel todo el tiempo, el Hotel esta viejo con manchas en el techo de la habitacion.. etc... no me vuelvo a quedar en este hotel y no lo recomiendo a nadie.

RECOMIENDO AMPLIAMENTE ESTE HOTEL, ESTA EN MUY BUENAS CONDICIONES. EXCELENTE TRATO DEL PERSONAL, LA COMIDA MUY RICA, LAS ALBERCAS LIMPIAS Y BUENA TEMPERATURA, LA PLAYA TRANQUILA PARA DISFRUTAR Y LAS BEBIDAS DE BUENA CALIDAD

pero no hubo 2 dias aire acondicionado, y el desayuno siempre lo mismo.
