Nice hotel but big price tag to. And did not even have complimentary breakfast you had to charge. Also had to pay to park. And the bed was.supposed to be a king but was only a full!

Hotels.com apparently gets smallest least desirable rooms. But room did the job

The location is perfect it is directly on the streetcar line and next to a park that hosts plenty events. There are a few more updates they need to make to the room that don't affect your comfort. The fridge wasn't there yet and the shower needs new fixtures, but it is still ok. The beds, sheets, furniture, television and appliances are all new as well […] as the carpets. There is major renovations being done to the lobby that will only improve your stay in the future. The staff is very accommodating and friendly which draws your attention away from the construction and makes your stay more enjoyable. There is also a cafe attached that is still beautiful and intact. I would stay here again and recommend it. 더 보기

• Hotel amenities o This is the first hotel I have ever stayed at that has not had a hotel bar, let alone a restaurant that closed before 9pm. o The noise that the air-conditioner made when it kicked on was jarring. By this I mean every time the air-conditioner triggered due to the room’s temperature moving above our desired range there was a loud noise […] made by the air-conditioner starting, followed by a considerable amount of noise for the rest of the process of cooling the room. The initial starting sound, and the contrast between the noise made while the air-conditioner was operating and when it was off was jarring. o We had no water – TWICE.  On the first occasion the notice did not appear until after 1pm (when we left the room for the day). Upon our return the note stated that the water would be back on by 6pm. When it was not on by 6:30 we called the front desk, and were informed that the water would be off until 7:30. This in and off its self is entirely unacceptable - add to this we had a dinner reservation that we were trying to prepare for.  In the short hours of the morning we discovered that the water was again inoperable. This was not remedied by the time we had to check out, and head to the airport. So, again we were forced to leave without showers, and use of our basing bathroom utilities. 더 보기

very nice hotel for the price. one of the best locations in the city. I used to live in New Orleans and this location is close to everything, especially with the trolley car across the street. We love walking and with this location you can walk to the Quarter, River front, & Super Dome. Attentive and cordial staff...nice rooms...but construction...arthritic elevators...and, especially, plumbing that did not work 1 out of the 3 days (no running water). Still waiting on compensation...unclear on intentions...

When arrived to my room the staff was very friendly and helpful. During my stay the water was cut off due to the construction of the building. I was in a business trip and they made arrangements for me to be able to shower, they gave me a late check out time, and refunded my room. I would stay again for business.

Hotel was remodeling. Very noisy. Guest should be advised when booking that they will be inconvenced in this way.

I had an extremely positive stay here except for one aspect. We got back to our hotel room at 2:50pm on Friday (4/27) and were notified with a note under our door that the water would be promptly shut off from 3pm-5pm... & we had just returned from a 85 degree weather swamp tour. I can deal with the construction in the hotel but when we return to our […] room expecting to relax/shower/get ready and can't- that is a big problem. I wish we were notified ahead of time or at least told upon walking into the hotel. Next time please advise your guests if any situations like this arise. I would have rather heard this from the front desk rather than a note pushed underneath my door. 더 보기

Great stay :) walking and CRAWLING distance from Burbon St !!!

I stayed here in April 2012 for a medical conference in a room with two queen beds. the TV was good size and i was thrilled with the free wireless, but the room itself was a bit small but clean. there was remodeling going on, so there was only one elevator which was slow and inconvenient - maids, construction staff, etc, would all be on it and it would […] stop at every floor. the walls are thin so can be noisy depending on where you are, can hear TV/radio of rooms next door even if it's not super loud. that being said, the location is convenient, and I walked to Canal St, the convention center (about 15 mins away) daily. 더 보기

Friendly staff, good location and peaceful quiet rooms. We slept in every morning cause the beds were so comfortable.

My hotel room was dirty, and had not been maintained in years. The wall paper was peeling in the bathroom as well as the bedroom area. Stains on the curtain, and on the sheets. The room had an odor that would not allow me to sleep well. I actually slept on top of the comforter with the my own towel from home on top of it. The did not have ice machines […] on each floor, and only one floor had vending machines in the whole hotel. I will say location was good, but the quality of hotel was poor at best. It was exactly as expected. beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. Hotel was quite run down but you get what you pay for. Staff was friendly and helpful. Needs TLC other than that they seam to do a good job.

The Parc St. Charles is going through renovations, but the rooms and adjoining cafe were very nice. The Rooms have been recently updated, and were clean and comfortable. They had all the amenities you would need (TV, Free Wi-Fi, tolietries, iron/board, in-room safe). The Staff was polite and very helpful, and helped us get a cab on several occassions. […] There are several restaurants within walking distance, as well as a FedEx store, for those on a business trip. However, the biggest suprise was the Cafe on the Square. The hotel's cafe is open for breakfast and lunch, and the food was delicious. Large portions for a very reasonable price. My breakfast was a large omelet, bowl of grits, and a english muffin for under $10. The hotel is located within walking distance of the French Quarter, and is a short cab ride away from the Riverwalk, Harrah's Casino, and the Convention Center. It is also located across the street from the Bus and Trolley stop. I will stay there again on my next visit to New Orleans. 더 보기

The hotel was a decent choice. It's very convenient to pretty much anything in the city. The reason I rated the condition & maintenance of the hotel a 3 is because the lobby is under construction so its a little messy, but will look very nice when completed. Also the elevators were a bit slow. Also I rated the quality of hotel service at a 4, because […] at $27/night for valet, they could move A LOT faster when retrieving your car. This was our second stay at the Parc St. Charles. It has been upgraded since our first stay. It is a good location; within walking distance of the French Quarter. Staff is super-friendly and helpful in giving information.

I would not recommend this hotel. The room that we stayed in was falling apart--wall paper coming off the walls, the phone was broken, reeked of cigarette smoke. I think next time I will pay the extra money to stay at a better hotel.

Loved it. Very convenient to downtown and French Quarter. Hotel was very clean, even though they were renovating. Room was made up promptly every day. We were there for seven days.

maybe this place is renovating but the place was was a bit of a dump. the rooms are nice and big and clean adn service was excellent as is the location. You really just haev to maek up your own mind on what you are looking for. For Buisness it worked out fine.

The room was large but a bit dark. There was a cabinet for the refrigerator in the room, but there wasn't one. I was spending a lot of time at the French Quarter Festival, and it was quite a walk to the stage by the aquarium. The worst part was the construction noise in the morning. For the price the hotel was very good. The slightly lower ratings were because the elevator seemed a bit slow and beat up (but totally functional, just not aesthetic.) and there were some black stains on one of the bedspreads (shoe polish?). I go to New Orleans about the same time every year. I decided to stay at a different place this time. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. They are doing some renovations but there were no noise issues from this. The problem comes from the noise outside the room from the street and from the air conditioning. If you don't mind the sound of […] "jets" all night then this is the place for you. This hotel is directly on the street car line. It comes by frequently and sounds like a jet flying over each time. The other issue was the air conditioning. It goes on and off of course to maintain the temp., but it too sounds like a jet taking off, only it's in the room with you. If loud noises don't bother you, then you will have no issues with this hotel. I would stay there again if it were in a different location. 더 보기

Nice hotel, needs TLC. Comfortable beds, clean and with all the room we needed. I booked this through Hotels.com and requested a small fridge in my room for medical needs. The page I had pulled up said they would try to accommodate needs. The person from Hotels.com told me some of the rooms had fridges and she would request a room with one for me. Upon […] my arrival, I found out that none of the rooms had any. The person making the arrangements should know the hotels better to be able to give out factual information. The extra fee for valet parking is a joke. This really should be added to the price because all meters around the hotel were covered with a leather bag with "no parking" on it. Unless you are arriving by cab, you will most likely need valet parking or parking in some other parking lot. BTW, I did get my car unharmed and quickly when I needed it. No this hotel is not the Ritz or the like. It is an older building with smaller rooms, but was totally clean and comfortable. We had a corner room so window views in both sides. The staff was friendly and we were able to walk to the French Quarter. The neighborhood on the other side was also cute and quiet with a PJ's Coffe only about 3 blocks away […] and also a FedEx Office location I used. Had a great time and the price was WELL below the prices of surrounding hotels. 더 보기

This hotel was just okay. The maid service was pretty good but there was mold on the ceiling in the shower. They say they have room service however, the cafe located in the hotel doesn't provide room service on the weekends. ??!! I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Hotels.com said they had fridges for the rooms, which they did not. Room and hotel was gross. There were screws in the walls where pictures once hanged. only one elevator was working of the whole building. Partially constructed cabinet in my room (where the fridge was supposed to be). No directions for phone or internet. wifi only so connection is pretty […] slow. People are very nice, but the facilities are sub par. Look elswhere. 더 보기

The Parc St Charles offered large, updated rooms. Very nice and comfortable. This hotel is within walking/ street car distance to everything. The street car runs right in front of the hotel. Just a few blocks to the superdome and Canal. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here during the Final Four. All the surrounding hotels were much more expensive--so much so, that when I seen the price for this hotel I called to ask why it was so much cheaper. I was told that they just wanted our business--and they earned it!. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only fault we could find was that the room did […] not have a refridgerator. The lobby was under renovation, but that didn't cause us any problem whatsover. The biggest inconvience was that there was only one elevator, but that wasn't a big deal thanks to the lower price and excellent service. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to New Orleans. 더 보기

It's in a great location, within walking distance from the French Quarter and Bourbon St. We experienced great service and comfy rooms.

It didn't have but 1 trash can which was located in the bathroom. It didn't have refrigerator or microwave. It wasn't the best I have stayed in cheaper hotels with better quality

My Dad and I booked a room at Parc St. Charles about an hour before we arrived. The person at the desk and the valet driver were both very pleasant. The distance to all attractions was perfect! The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The only two problems were the wi-fi was weak so we kept losing the connections or it took a long time to load. […] Also, there was a hole in the ceiling above the shower and some mold/staining around the tub molding.
