Plantation Suites & Conference Center - 포트 아란사스

We had a very nice experience at the Plantation Suites. The kids really enjoyed the pool and my husband and I liked the pool area and the fact that they had a gazebo and comfortable chairs to sit and watch the kids. I especially liked the jaccuzi. It wasn't in walking distance to the beach but it was OK for the price. We would stay there again. Front desk was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

I checked into the hotel with my family on a Saturday afternoon and we were satisfied at first. The room was decent, there was a microwave and mini fridge, and it appeared clean. Later that night when we got in bed, I noticed a funky smell and became suspicious of the sheets. My husband didn't notice the smell until the middle of the night, and it was […] morning before we decided to pull the sheets off the bed and check the mattress. It was covered in urine. I'm talking, bright yellow, can't-be-missed pee all over the bed. I went and spoke to the front desk person about it. Normally I might demand a refund and get out of there, but packing up and moving two small kids and a dog is no small feat. The front desk person seemed shocked and appalled and promised they would change out the mattress. When we returned from the beach later that day, the room had been cleaned and the beds made. We pulled back the sheets on the offending bed and, guess what? Same mattress! Again I went to talk to the front desk person. She told me the housekeeper thought just the sheets needed to be changed and they'd replace the mattress or let us switch rooms. This excuse was hard to believe, since anyone who couldn't see the bright yellow pee stains on the mattress upon removing the sheets could surely smell the rank order of urine. We checked out immediately, even though it meant having to drive to another pet-friendly hotel in Corpus with a baby, toddler, and dog. I can overlook a lot and am generally very forgiving, but pee on my bed once, shame on you. Pee on my bed twice? Peace, I'm out. 더 보기

i loved being on vac. and not being bothered from people there everyone kept to themselves other hotels dont really have that.

Hotel was okay but far from the beach and town. Noisy people running up and down most of the night. Beds were nice but hotel was pretty pricy for what you get. Breakfast okay, nothing great. Air conditioners came on and off all night, no matter what temperature you try to set.

Over priced. Walls too thin. Slite order. Won't go back!

Be aware,pet friendly means they will try to charge you $50.00 pet deposit on check out.They did remove the charge as far as I know but when making reservations we were not told about pet deposit. Staff is very nice,motel is old and showing it.Beds are terrible.

great amenities. after our first night, they "forgot" to clean our room. mattresses and pillows are very uncomfortable. great location. understaff.

it is like 5 minutes away from the beach on car, but it is a really nice hotel to stay at. The only thing that I didn't like was that they give me my room after 4 cuz they didnt have it ready but other than that it was a nice place, I recommend it. I'll stay again!!!

Overall, the room was a good size, but was very dirty. We found numerous hairs on the sheets and towels, and stains on the comforters. The blankets were sticky and full of holes and stains. There were hairs all over in the bathroom and spots on the back of the toilet. There were also spots on the ceiling in the bathroom that looked as if they could […] be black mold. The staff was very friendly, but failed to supply enough food at breakfast one morning when we were there. We asked for more waffle mix and did not ever receive any I will not be staying there again. I had a good time n it was great

Hotel has gone downhill over the years. Not bad, but could use some updating. Bathroom not clean, room had roaches & AC was loud. Housekeeping only brought towels, once, during my 3 day stay. I had to go to front desk & ask for them. Also, the room had no toilet paper or toiletries. The pool area & fish cleaning house were nice. Plenty of parking area […] & it was well lit. Hotel location is good. Close to beach. I would probably only stay here, again, in a pinch. 더 보기

The assistant manager let us check in early, which we really appreciated. The property was attractive and seemed to be well maintained. It wasn't fancy but was comfortable and had everything we needed and then some. Breakfast was included with the lodging cost, and it was very good, including the Texas-shaped waffles. We didn't have time to use them, […] but there was a swimming pool and a hot tub which looked inviting. We only had to walk a few blocks to get to the beach, so that was very convenient, and our car was safe in their parking lot. There were even picnic tables and grills on the property. It's not walking distance to the main part of town, but a short drive. Also close to the beach. Front desk personnel were very pleasant. Room comes equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
