This hotel was everything we needed and more. We were heading from SF to Yosemite after a long flight from the east coast. We stayed one night in Merced and wanted to save our money for Yosemite. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was very good. The room had many amenities, such as a microwave and a fridge and a desk complete with desk chair. Wifi was free. The carpet was very spotted, as was the upholstery on the chairs. It just needed deep cleaning. The price was okay. This hotel is in Merced. CA.

there was free wii fi but if ur located at the very back of the hotel there is barely a connection. the staff were really nice.

Comfortable- good for price- yucky neighborhood that you would NOT want to walk around alone. A place people *live* at and has activity and freeway noise all night. Good Breakfast- older worn rooms but clean and comfortable.

Do not stay here! Filthy rug..old food in sink..torn sheets w/blood on them. Window would not close or lock. Picture on wall had sticky substance on it. Scary neighborhood. Loud people arguing during the night, a train whistle blew constantly. Wi fi did not work. Would never stay or recommend this property.

I think I got what I payed for.

The neighborhood was sketchy. Saw several homeless within a block. The internet did not work towards the back of the hotel where my room was located. However, the room was clean and relatively comfortable. Very convenient to freeway and the location of the dog show I was there to attend.

I made my reservation weeks in advance, requesting a downstairs room (I had a dog). I was assured it would be okay, I arrived & was told nothing was available downstairs. When I complained to the front desk, she managed to find one. It happened to be almost on the freeway offramp next to a vacant lot full of homeless men, I went back to get my original […] upstairs room, got the key, opened the door & found somebody lying in the bed watching television. She then "found" a different downstairs room right next to people who partied until 3:30 a.m. each night. Breakfast was terrible with what I assumed was orange juice turning out to be some sort of mixed powdered kool-aid type of orange liquid. The coffee was undrinkable 더 보기

If you need a cheap hotel and don't care about the neighborhood. Then this is the place for you. I stayed here twice. The first time around it was better since there weren't as many ghetto people around. They were smoking pot and probably doing other drugs. Lucky my room was near the front. Then at breakfast time I think on of the lady that was staying […] at the hotel was a crack head. She was talking to herself and took 3 plates of food and some of the basket... That part wasn't the hotel part, but just saying sometimes its a hit and miss with the people in the hotel. First time around it was a lot better. This time no so much. I had to walk to the hotel lobby to get a strong enough WiFi signal,

I'll never stayed in this hotel again. The service is nice although the athmosphere of this place is very unpleasant.Carpet is soo dirty, you could notice the dirt on the wall, swimming is full of lichen, NO QUITE TIME policy was inforced. ....Overall LACK OF MAINTENANCE!!! Cars parked outside door and big diesel trucks with exhaust pointing directly at the door not only wake you up with loud exhaust noise but also make you gag and choke from fumes. The Manager was not on duty and the employees dont care at all. So i was already upset and awake at 5:30am being woken up by the trucks so I decided to have breakfast in the […] lobby where they offer waffles. First off... the towels didn't seem clean. The television reception was horrid and terrible and the water pressure was even worse. Hot-Cold... it never made up its mind. Overall.. I would give this place a D-. Only became the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Otherwise it would have gotten an F.

You get what you pay for. The 3.4 on-line hotel rating was too high. 2.5 to 3 is more like it. No real complaints other then it appeared to be questionable for cleanliness. I was OK with it; but, I would not want to take my wife there again.

Very pleasant staff, comfortable beds, awesome continental breakfast!

Stayed in room #217; beyond painting the bathroom door and removing the shower mat, the room was well worth the cost! Beds were clean (we check every time we stay somewhere), air conditioner was excellent, and only heard 1 train go by the entire night; otherwise, it was pretty quiet (faced the interior courtyard). Good stay! The continental breakfast […] was great too - toast, bagels, English muffins, and random fruit. The icing on the cake was the AMAZING waffles they have there. Seriously, that's better than any restaurant's waffle; something amazing is in that buttery batter! Great experience with hotel staff. Very friendly and courteous. However, the bathroom could be cleaner than they had it and have working appliances.

A few concerns: 1 - upon arrival to our room, it appeared there was a bullet hole in the window. Not quite sure if that was what it was, but I did ask for a different room due to the glassbeing in tact, yet it was broken. 2 - the first thing you see as you open the door to go outside the room, a rat trap, not nice! 3 - the perimeter sidewalk to the […] pool was in bad shape, I almost tripped. Was happy with the stay, good reasonable price and love that it had wi fi and that it came with a complimentary breakfast.

Considering the affordable rate I didn't have grand expectations but the neighborhood concerned me enough to sleep with one eye open. I will not stay at this hotel again soley for that reason. Other than that the staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

The room was not clean whatsoever...all the dirty stuff from the person before me was there. Disgusting. No hot water either, and it was freezing out...Horrible!!

I was very pleased with the price of this hotel and the cleanliness and upkeep. My room had everything I needed and was very clean with plenty of room. I highly recommend this hotel.

Overall, a very good value. Location was quite even though it was near freeway. Had problem with TV cable reception and they had someone to the room to fix it in less than 5 minutes.

We made the reservations while in Germany ( on another trip). When I got back Hubby was fearful of a 'decent hotel at that price'. It was great, good bed & pillows. Clean room, not to noisy. It was pretty good... It was quiet and the room was pretty big

Motel en bord d'autoroute (au départ ça peut effrayer) mais en fait très calme dans les chambres. Piscine fort agréable pour le cadre et pour la détente. Personnel et accueil super sympa. Pdj sommaire mais le bienvenu. idéal pour une étape de une nuit (car pas grand chose à faire autour). a mi chemin entre le Yosemite Parc et San Francisco.

Bruyant ( route , train ) Jolie piscine .

Nicht zu empfehlen..Schimmel im Bad, verrostetes Waschbecken, fleckiger Teppich. Alles in allem sehr unerfreulich! :-(
