This hotel is more concerned about making a timeshare sale than a paying customer that is just staying for a vacation. Our check-in was over an hour (!!) as they fumbled their way through our reservation for multiple rooms. After we declined to look into the timeshare, our room set up was actually switched. They wanted us to stay in one of their nicer […] rooms for one night and then move rooms for the following nights. I have never heard of this at a hotel and it had the potential to ruin our vacation. We agreed after the first day we would just complain and refuse to move - for the most part this worked. However they did manage to move 2 of our rooms, lose that luggage for 6 hours and actually book another group into our room while we were still there. This place has a great location, with adequate rooms that are fine for a weeks stay. Unfortunately it's run by staff that don't know what they are doing, has a ton of bizarre rules and a timeshare sales force that makes you want to turn around and go home. The Cabo Villas Resort is the perfect getaway. Beautiful property, right on the beach and a short walk to town. Our room was fabulous. Turn down service with chocolate everynight and on the last night, rose petals. I would definately stay here again!

Expected a suite w/ kitchen but got no balcony & only a microwave and mini-fridge in the back building. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Hotel is just off Medano beach, and 15 minutes walk from the Marina area downtown. The hotel restaurant (Baja Cantina) has very good food but is a little pricey. Other restaurants nearby on the beach are more […] expensive. Go to town for good, more reasonably priced food. The pool & patio are small and unattractive, and you might as well be in San Diego unless you get out of the hotel area. 더 보기

The management of this hotel has done a very good job of teaching staff the true meaning of service. Service from staff was outstanding,especially Jennifer. She is on her was to be general manager.

Our first indication of a problem was at checkin. Upon arrival we were ushered to a timeshare sales pitch rather than the checkin. After almost an hour of pressure to attend a timeshare pitch they finally gave us our room keys and escorted us to our suite. Up an elevator with no airconditioning in 100F+ heat. Not that the A/C wasn't working, just no […] ventilation built into any of the elevators. We paid for an upgrade to the Bayview Suites. Very nicely decorated but broken airconditioners. The staff told us to turn the thermostat down and wait a couple of hours to cool down the rooms. After calling again they finally came up to check and managed to fix the front room but not the back bedroom. Spent the night in almost 90F heat. After several visits from maintenance they couldn't cool it below 85F. The next day they moved us to another smaller suite. The back bedroom was so small that two people couldn't walk around the bed at the same time. We used our jacuzzi on the patio that night but the jets didn't work. The next morning we were going to get in again and realized that filter system didn't work either and the water was all murky..gross. Once again they moved us to a bigger but much older suite. The couches had seen better days. This suite also had a jacuzzi but it was so small only two people could get in comfortably at a time. They claim that all their multi-bedroom suites have an icemaker in the fridge. Opened up the fridge and we had empty ice trays. There were ice machines located on the fourth and sixth floors. Went to get ice from these machines and managed to get less than a cupful. Another source of fustration were the room keys. They would easily demagnitize so we were constantly going back to the front desk to get them reprogrammed. We travel all the time and have had much experience with great resorts around the world. This resort bills itself as a five star but it is definitely not more than a two and a half. 더 보기
