My room 509 had a very noisy air conditioner and I was awake for about 3 hours until I figured out what was making the noise.

Having had the opportunity to stay at various different hotels for travel, I have found that this hotel lived up and beyond any expectations. Upon entering the room, I could instantly feel and inhale crisp fresh air. I was awed at the cleanliness and comfort of the room and most importantly the bathroom - which allowed me to feel a minute sensation […] of a spa getaway after a long flight! And having the hotel be at the mouth of the airport it made everything that much more convenient! The service was excellent when my family and I ordered things to be brought to our rooms; and their downstairs dining area called Dema had such delicious main courses! This is a hotel that will remain on my list of future potentials when crossing through Detroit indeed! 더 보기

Beatiful hotel and you can't beat the convenience. Absolutely no excuse for missing a flight when you have a special TSA screening/security area for the hotel. Perhaps most amazing was the quiet. Our room overlooked a row of gates with planes parked and we weren't looking forward to the noise early in the morning. One of the nicer Westins I've stayed at - Pros: separate airport entrance if you're flying Delta, great fitness facility, clean rooms, cool water feature, decent room service, very well maintained. If you need a hotel before taking off this is most certainly the one, it is comfortable and very clean and the staff is extremely helpful.

Absolutely fantastic and convenient to stay at, especially if you have an early flight the next day and you have children. Clean cribs were available, and there are kids breakfast options for room service for the morning. If leaving after 7:45am, you can use their security line located in the hotel to the airport. The hotel did not let the airlines know that the shuttle was bringing us over and we would need assistance of a wheel chair to get to the curb side check in or the ticket counter so went on our own very slowly and ended up at the ticket counter. Tje said the hotel should have alerted them about the shuttle being on its way.

It excellence hotel to stay, also the climatic system, especially when you are in transit, just the price is too expensive and no free WIFI

our check in was very good, the bell man was very nice our room was clean and nice. Our experience in the loung however was deplorible. Our server was overwhelmed and no one would help her. The food was terrible, we ordered a pizza and the wild mushroom ravioli, the ravioli was under cook and obviously a frozen product and had nothing but buttom mushrooms […] and so many onions that were obviously burned and the cream of mushroom soup that was used as the sauce was also so salty it was almost ineatable the pizza was burned on the bottom and tasted like a frozen product, the staff was more concerned about the foot ball game on TV as they all were standing at the server station and not paying attention to guests or the food buring on the stove. we paid such a huge price for what i would consider diner food at best i might stay again but will find an alternative for food. I find it disgusting that you feel you can charge such high prices for this type of dinning, think about better food at more reasonable prices. We stood in line for 15 minutes just to check-in at 10pm. Not a huge issue, but frustrating. We go to our room on the 2nd floor which is directly above the restaurant/bar area. It was very loud. We politely called the front desk and asked for a different room. Her response, "Can you endure for another hour and a half? The bar should be closed by then." […] We asked if they had ear plugs—"no". We decide to go downstairs to the bar, which was full, for a drink. We asked the bartender if we could take our drinks in the restaurant—"Sure!". The manager of the nearly-empty restaurant was "put out" by our request to sit at table and enjoy our drink. She didn't say one word to us—even after we both politely thanked her. Overall, a very disappointing experience. This is not a cheap hotel. It was the last stop of a really nice six-day vacation. Love the heavenly bed!

Especially when you are flying Delta as it is part of the Delta terminal. But even for the other terminal it is ok. Restaurant is so so. The hotel and its services are not cheap. You pay for the location. Wifi is not free and not fast. Which I think is a disgrace for an hotel like this.

Very nice hotel - great food at the restaurant and nice pool/exercise facilities. Side note - the TSA checkpoint from the hotel was open during our stay from 7:45 am - 7:00 pm. If you need to go through security before/after that, you have to go into the main airport.

Traveling is always stressful. We're usually stuck in long, draining security lines, stressed out by the pat downs, repacking of the liquids and computing devices and putting jackets and shoes back on. My mother and […] I made an alternate choice - we decided to check into the Westin, since I had a morning flight, and she was pretty tired too. What a peaceful, dreamy idea that turned out to be. Even the entrance and lobby enjoy the fragrance of white tea sailing through the corridors throughout the property. The see through glass elevators look down on a relaxing wabi sabi image of water, moss and rocks. The room then opens up to a delightful Heavenly Bed, a nice large screen TV with lots of entertainment options, a fridge full of amenties, munchies and drinks, and a gorgeous view, which can be closed and darkened to get the most out of the sleep. The beautiful marble bathrooms are equipped with the softest towels and fragrant white tea products that make skin and hair soft and beautiful. The restaurant and bar offer wonderful fresh food and an array of delicious drinks. I have to say it was a smart investment to take the time out to rest like that. And I certainly see myself checking in locally in Bellevue, WA as well if I need a good rest. It's really fortunate that Westin sells all their bedding and products... who knows, maybe redecorating my room is next. Heavenly! Highly recommended. 더 보기

The hotel is really lovely. Everything is first class. The ONLY major problem is that it is really for airport people and NOT for anyone who works or visits Detroit. It is SO far away from the action (Casinos or Landmarks). Taxi ride was $55 into town. We ended up staying there one night and then getting into the Marriott downtown which was along the […] river in a great section....very safe and surprisingly modern and exciting. It was a wonderful experience seeing Detroit, after all the bad press it's gotten. 더 보기

love this place for parking for service for food and the fact that you can go into the airport the day before you fly the best

New hotel, right in the airport. You could not ask for a better location, has its own entry to the Delta concourse. Rooms are good, and overall a good hotel. However I am less impressed with the restaurant and WiFi in the rooms is spotty and they dare to charge money for Internet. Luckily they have ethernet cables in the room.

Exactly the kind of hotel I want when I'm staying in an airport. The Westin Hotel deserves high praise for their quality facilities.

We will definitely stay there again anytime we have an early morning flight out of Detroit. I am pretty fussy and I can assure you that the hotel was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The valet parking is a nice bonus!

Our stay was great, no complaints.

All we wanted was a clean room for a good sleep before my sister flew home, the desk opened at 4.30 am for her check in and departure at 6am. We arrived at just before 9pm and went up to the room, it looked very nice and I had been in the lobby of the hotel for coffee before, this was our first time staying at such a convenient location in the airport. […] I looked at the one bed and the duvet cover looked like it had either makeup or blood on it. I called down to the lobby and they sent up the housecleaning manager, she came with a new cover, but the other bed cover wasn't clean either. She agreed and said this was not good enough and asked if we wanted to change rooms. We agreed and walked to the other end of the hotel, the room was smaller, but all we wanted was to go to sleep. I opened the closet door to take out the luggage rack and the carpet was extremely dusty and dirty and on checking further, the edges of the room and furniture, it was all dirty. I called down, they said would you like fresh duvet covers on the beds of the first room, I agreed and we went to meet them there. The hotel night manager came up and as he helped and we removed the duvet cover from the bed there was blood all on the duvet itself. At this point.. I said.. just remove the duvets out of the room, we will sleep with the sheets, he offered to bring up blankets, but an hour had passed since this all started and we needed to get into the beds. We were given 2 coupons for breakfast, my sister would be flying by the time breakfast started in the lobby. Breakfast was lovely and the lobby setting is very pleasant. When we came to check out, the manager said how was our stay and I told him. He apologised and said if we were to come back again, to call ahead to his personal line and he would make sure the bedding was clean. We travel a lot my husband and I, we had just had a week away in the Hilton Garden Inn, so we are very used to hotel stays. Our main concern to be able to sleep, is to find th 더 보기

Other than the complicated check in, The hotel was very neat, clean, and quiet. However, the parking in very expensive. There is a restaurant. The view of the runway is awesome. The concessions were expensive. Ordinary bottled water is expensive. Alcohol, candy, and snacks are available, too. Enjoy!

The hotel itself was very nice. Rooms are comfortable and first class. The restaurant was friendly and the food was very good; pricey, but then again, you are at the mercy of airport pricing. The check-in snag due to not honoring the park n fly package was frustrating, and I had to park off site; otherwise parking is $35 a night through the hotel at […] the airport. The bell desk was not helpful and seemed to be bothered by my concern so they sent me to the front desk for assistance. Had to make three trips back and forth and spend 15 minutes on my phone to get the problem resolved. It's a long haul from the curb to the front desk. At 5:30 in the morning we had to catch the hotel shuttle to another terminal. The shuttle arrived at 5:45 and the driver did not want to be there. The 7 guests waiting had to carry their own bags on and off the shuttle and the driver didn't even say hello or good bye or make any effort to help anyone. So, for the price, I guess I wouldn't recommend this hotel based on the experience we had. 더 보기

Would Recommend other to go and stay

extremely convenient and very accomodating staff. Nice restaurant and well-run parking/valet service. We will stay again when we have an extremely early flight departing from Detroit.

If you have an early Delta flight, staying here is a great way to go. Hotel is nicely appointed, clean and easy. Also, there's a separate security entrance for he hotel.

This hotel is so convenient, especially if you fly Delta. You can print off your tickets in the hotel lobby and the hotel has it's own security check to get into the airport. The hotel is very nice and highly recommended.
