I had an old lady chain smoking by the poolside and spa area watching her grandkids; not very good for me as I really have a hatred towards smokers since living in Euro several years back..though now they have realised that secondary smoke is just as harmful. The daily resort fee is a bit of joke as they should be including this in your daily rate […] if it is for parking/internet/pool/etc. - you have to pay in no matter what....it is at all the BC village hotel locations. Great hotel value, considering the prices in the area. There is a shuttle to get you anywhere you need to go but it's a pretty good walk to the lifts/village if you're carrying your gear. Overall, still a nice place. They even put out cookies for you at 3:30 every day.

The description of this hotel is misleading. It is by no means ski-in/ski-out. The lift they talk about is the Strawberry Park lift which has not direct access to the main terrain and only runs when there is a lot of snow (not this year). There is a 1/4 mile icy path to get to the base of the main Centennial lift and it's a very cold, slippery walk […] at night. Essentially this hotel is isolated from the wonderful Beaver Creek village, the only access being provided by an infrequent shuttle service. Our room was located adjacent to the mechanical room for the elevators but was comfortable, if somewhat noisy. The staff when we arrived were courteous and accommodating, especially after they recognized our disappointment at the location of the hotel and room. Our in-room breakfast was mediocre and cold, not to mention expensive (even for Beaver Creek). There are better places to eat in the village. If you want the real Beaver Creek experience you should stay at the Hyatt or Osprey, we will next time. 더 보기

The hotel is located just next to a ski lift and 5 min walk from the village. The staff was very polite and helpful.

My family and I enjoyed a beautiful few days a the Pines Lodge this past week. Everything was perfect except the snow. The stay exceeded my expectations, particularly the welcoming staff. Great place that I will happily go back to and recommend to others. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

The Pines is a lovely hotel in Beaver Creek Resort that has marvelous views. There are miles & miles of hiking trails all over the ski slopes and no lack of non-ski activities. The service and the room were both superb. Beaver Creek Village was just a five-minute walk away.

Stay was good, just an overnighter. I would not recommend this hotel due to the resort fee that is kept secret until you check out. They did ask for a donation for the forest service up front, which I agreed.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are nicely equipped with flatscreen tvs and other nice items. The pool, hot tub and exercise gym are very nice. The only thing they could work on are better choices for the kids portion of the room service menu. Very limited unless you have a kid who will eat elk loin or prime rib at age 5. the view is as the kids say awesome, day and night, the majority of the staff were genuinely friendly which is such a delight. Every bite was delicious, rates comparable but pricey, know this is the type of resort experience that leaves you feeling a bit of "lifestyle of the rich and famous". We stayed at this "lodge" for two nights and were very surprised to discover that it is in a large resort area near Vail, CO. We were not expecting to stay in such a fancy place but I had gotten a great rate on hotels.com and we enjoyed our stay. I was irked that upon checkout the front desk person tried to charge us a "resort fee" for delivery of a […] newspaper and valet parking (we didn't even request a newspaper and we tipped the valet generously), but after seeing the look on my face he graciously removed that charge. As is the case with so many resorts, everything was very expensive. However, the room was sumptuous and the service was excellent. Loved this hotel! Went in the summer (July) just wish I could go in the Winter. Staff was amazing and helpful in suggestions for things to do. Location is ideal and a short walk to the activities of Beaver Creek. Amazing time will go back every summer.

What an amazing experience Beaver Creek and The Pines Lodge were! Thank you so much for taking such good care of us on our swift, but much needed, family vacation. We had beautiful views of the mountains and left our door open all night to hear the sounds of the creek as well. Counting days until we can go back!

The staff was most friendly when we arrived. The valet came out immediately to greet us and notified other staff we had arrived. Registration checked us in without any problems and the valet took us to our room. He filled us in on all the amenities and helped us with our luggage. This was a beautiful, beautiful hotel. I would say the only drawback was that although they were not full the room they gave us to start had a view of the roof over the front of the hotel. But... for a fee they could upgrade us, which we really had to do. And we were glad we did. Stayed recently at the Pine Lodge in Beaver Creek and got a chance to compare it to the Ritz-Carlton where the rest of our party stayed. I'll stay at the Pine Lodge every time. Wonderful amenaties, the hot tube was great and the rooms were quite and well kept and great area. The ski area is great and town nearby. Fine and Wake is steal Irish Pub &the beers &food are great!!!

We arrived at the hotel early and could not check into our room. The bell captain was very friendly and helpful with getting our luggage into storage, our car parked, and us ready to go skiing. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel. The breakfast was very good and fairly priced for Beaver Creek. The dinner was also very good and priced similar […] to any white table linen place in Beaver Creek Village. Warning: The maitre d' was a bit snooty when we said we did not have a reservation. We asked for a different table and were told all tables were reserved. They never all filled up. We ate while watching the parade of guests going in their bathrobes to the hot tub. The hotel is truly ski-in and ski-out, with very little walking to get onto the snow and a short ski to the Strawberry Park lift. Or there is a convenient shuttle to the lift base area. The only thing missing is a detailed receipt. I don't have detail of what I paid for and then knowing I'd paid the resort fees etc on checkout they tried to make me pay for them again. Our stay at The Pines was just what we needed. The staff was very helpful from check in to check out. We especially enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and the comfy beds.

It was a great stay. The aspens were peaking and our room window looked up to the mountains. The bed was extremely comfortable. The restaurant and chef (whom we met) were out of this world - best duck and plum sauce I have ever tasted. We ended up going back for duck twice during our 3 night stay.

This place is great! great staff and went the extra mile to make our stay great. Can't wait to go back. Don't pass this place up.

I figured since this hotel was in Beaver Creek it would be a very nice place to stay. Upon arriving i found out that all of the parking was valet because they didn't trust us in the garage? The hotel needs to be remodeled and updated, the whole place might have been nice back in 1974. The shower drain was so slow that i had to stand in the dirty water […] until i got out. There was a balcony...i guess or maybe it's better to call it a small ledge with a railing. And an excellent view...of the car drive up. No microwaves in the rooms, and only a small old fridge. And to top it all off rude valet who upon looking at my dirty clothes and seeing that i didn't drive a luxury car doubted that i was staying there. This place was waaaaaaaaay overrated! Oh and there's a surprise "hotel fee" everyday that doesn't even make sense! 더 보기

The hotel is nestled in the Beaver Creek Resort. It was like being in a European mountain village. Although we were only there for one night it appeared there was lots to do at the resort. You are surrounded by ski lifts in the winter and golf and hiking in the summer. The best part is hotels.com was a third of the price as opposed to going to the property's […] own web site.
