Rooms were good, breakfast and view is amazing and the walk isn't too bad downhill to the main town. Make sure you order the hot breakfast!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this great hotel. The only thing that we considered excessive was that they charged for coffee in the room when in all 5 star hotels where we have stayed before have always provided complimentary coffee and tea.

We really enjoyed our stay a the Farol Design Hotel. Its modern and very stylish with comfort too..Its site is just stunning especially on stormy days when the waves lashed in. Glorious on sunny days with lots of room to lie out. Our room had a fabulous sea view with a nice balcony. Thought it was a little small for 5 star tho. Also the room had a very […] smart coffee machine but they charged for the coffee the mini bar bill !! The outside bar is not very comfortable but the indoors bar was lovely when it was open. This is a very cool and trendy hotel, about 10-15 mins walk from centre of Cascais. Had lunch in the resturant which was great but probably a little expensive. Breakfast was great, lots of fresh fruit, Nespresso coffee. Outdoor door bar area was very trendy and relaxing espically at night. We have found our place. Next time and next time and next time my wife and I, myself, our sons, our sons with girlfriends, our sons with family, ourself with grand children look for a place in the sun, we will go to Farol Design Hotel.

The hotel is fantastically situated right on the cliffs overlooking the sea, we even saw dolphins passing by. Its not easy to get into the sea from the hotel but the pool and sun deck are very nice, with plenty of options for soaking up the sun and views. More umbrellas are needed. We didn't experience too much noise at night as mentioned by others We could happily not have moved from the hotel all day, the cocktails and food at the hotel were good also. However the local town and its back street restaurants are well worth investigating and are only a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. Partis vous visiter la superbe ville de Cascais au sud du Portugal nous devions séjourner une seule nuit à l'hôtel Farol Design. Nous nous y sommes trouvés tellement bien à tous points de vue que nous y avons séjournés plusieurs jours. Tout est parfait / chambres, site (face à l'océan) et nourriture. designhotel men gjort för billigt och genvägar. mycket bra läge, restaurang, pool etc men rum inget speciellt alls.

Det är ett fantastisk litet hotel med ett underbart läge vi havet och en bra restaurang med promenadavstånd till Cascais centrum. En riktig pärla för att koppla av och njuta.

Hotelli on mahtavalla paikalla ja hotelli oli todella kaunis, suurin osa henkilökunnasta älyttömän mukavia. MUTTA eka huone haisi viemärille. Valitimme ja saimme tuoksukynttilöitä!! Toka huone oli huonompi mutta ei haissut, vaivan näköä muutosta ei hyvitetty mitenkään. Huoneiden siivous vaihteli päivittäin. Ravintola oli kiva ja ruoka laadukasta. TRES BELLE HOTEL mAIS LA PISCINE POURRAIS ETRE CHAUFFE EN SEPTEMBRE ET IL MANQUE UNE SALLE DE SPORT VOIRE UN SAUNA.

Très bel hôtel en bordure de mer, chambre lumineuse, belle piscine, personnel prévenant. Petit bémol : hôtel tendance...donc les après-midi et soirées du we, music lounge en permanence, un peu éreintant...et public à l'avenant... A recommander : la location de vélos à l'hôtel et la promenade vers les plages à l'opposé de cascais

Raffinement, design (de qualité) et site font de cet hôtel un bel écrin pour passer un séjour à part.. choisir une belle chambre vue sur la mer (ça vaut le coup!). sans oublier un service et un accueil impeccable. parfait pour une escale après un petit séjour dans les ruelles de Lisbonne...
