노보텔 런던 시티 사우스 (Novotel London City South) - 런던

런던브리지역에서 내려 약 10분간 걸어가면 호텔이 위치하며, 전체적으로 깔끔하고 직원도 친절함,특히 예약을 대행해주어서 버킹검 궁전을 쉽게 구경할 수 있었다. 저렴한 가격에 아침식사 포함되어 대만족이었다. 어린이를 동반하여 extrabed를 쓰게 되었는데, 워낙 커서 침대 2개가 방을 다 차지하여 여유공간이 부족한 것은 아쉬웠어요. 전체적으로 위치, 가격, 친절도 등 모두 만족합니다.

This was a generally clean and reasonably comfortable hotel, but lacking in any charm. It's relatively close to St. Paul's and surrounding area, but there is no night life in the immediately surrounding area. Most problematic, wifi costs extra and is unimaginably slow--as in dial up circa 1992 slow. This is shameful and unacceptable in a business hotel […] in 2012. We were quite happy with this hotel. We descovered in our first day that the sink in bathroom was blocked however the hotel staff fixed it next morning. The only incovenience was that the water in the shower ls linking to the floor when one using it. Overall impression was very good. Breakfast was also up to the hotel standard.

We were traveling to London with our children ages 3, 5, 9, and 11 for the first time and relied on Hotels.com reviews to pick a hotel for our week stay. We were SO happy with The Novotel! They stored our bags in their luggage room until our room was ready so we could get out and begin exploring the city. It is only a few blocks walk to the River Thames […] where you can find many places to eat at night and walk the river. We booked the standard queen bed with a queen pull out bed, and both were comfortable. They did not stock what Americans call bath or wash clothes, but this is very European and not a bad reflection on them, just know to pack a few on your European travels. They have a buffet breakfast in the morning and a nice bar with a few big screens for winding down at the end of the day. Easy internet access in the rooms also. Smaller rooms but clean and good service. Little bit tight if you live 4 in one room. Close to subway and there are also some nice restaurants in the area.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband and 2 boys. This is in a great location, because it's not too far to walk to from Euston Station and it's handy for the tube station. There are a few restaurants a few minutes walk away from the hotel which is good for families. I would stay there again and would recommend this hotel for a family of 4.

Lovely clean & friendly hotel. Great breakfast ( worth booking & paying for before you go) . Ok location, but a bit of a walk in to central London. Great if you want to do St Paul's , Tate Modern or The Globe. All you need as a good base for sightseeing.

Really impresssed - friendly, professional, modern, feel of a boutique hotel, excellent breakfast and v good location for South bank attractions

Good hotel in a surrounding with lot's of stuff to do - good restaurants, lots of art and more beeing built every day. Don't get fooled by the first impression of the area ;-)

Myself and my famility had a very enjoyable stay at the Novotel. The hotel is convenient and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar is excellent and the wide selection of food sets you up for a long day of sightseeing. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation

One of the elevators didnt work

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights with my kids aged 8 and 10. We had a great time with fast and easy tube access to the sites of of London. Borough market located close to the hotel is a site in it self to any one interested in good food. A great breakfast can be had in the market. The staff were friendly and efficient and the room was fine. Breakfast was excellent. The sport facilities were quite good, the sauna and steam room also. The negative point was that the shower for the sport facilities was 'out of order' so it was necessary to shower back in your room. If you do not care about a view in London, the Novotel is a solid choice. It is close enough to all the downtown things to walk (i you like walking) and really close to the London Underground. It is nice, modern, and clean. It is a quite walk to Tower Bridge or the Tate Modern along the west bank that is beautiful. Fantastic hotel - super friendlty staff and nice location. A bit hard to find but that is more than made up for by the ambience

We just stayed here for a night whilst visiting friends in the London Bridge area and thought it was a lovely hotel. Room has a bit of a strange layout with the toilet being in a cupboard with the ironing board! The bed is also a little hard. Rated as family friendly, but you could barely squeeze around the 2 beds with a family of 4. Basin drain was blocked and it had a tiny bar fridge that had to be fixed. Both were fixed the next day. Staff were unconcerned when I lost my wallet and refused to allow me to use the reception phone to call the car hire company in an attempt to find the wallet […] - ps. we did leave it in the hired car. 더 보기

A good quiet hotel located close to London Bridge. Reasonably quiet neighbourhood and far enough away from rail lines notto hear train noise.

Location is good. London Bridge tube 5 mins walk. Rooms are modern design but tight for a family of four in a double room with sofa bed.. price was the compromise but worth it since we didn't spent much time at the hotel. Reception people were pleasant, no other interaction with staff.. Nice, whole family in one room. Didn't here anything from other guests. Good breakfast. Nice surroundings with "Bourogh market" and The Thames river walk close. Opened my eyes for a new side of London.

No real complaints - just nothing to rave about. Bit of a walk to public transport. Limited availability of internet computers - only one working of the two available. Staff helpful though. Room smaller than other Novotel's in London

We have stayed as a family of four at this hotel a few times and have always enjoyed our stay. If I had any complaint to make it would be the cost of the car parking. We have travelled by train before but as we had also been to other locations on this trip we decided to take the car. Most Novotels charge £8 per night for car parking but London city […] South charges £25 per night as it is also in the conjestion charge area it would be better to leave the car at home. 더 보기

fantastic breakfast and very friendly staff.

Nice hotel and great value for money, wouldn't have liked to have had a standard room (we were in a superior). The room was for 4 people and was cramped, there is very little room between the bed and the bathroom, the toilet is separate but with no wash basin. Couldn't have stayed in this room for more than a couple of days. Not enough tea/coffee facilities […] and had to ask for extra. The breakfast was very good with a wide choice of both continental and english, the staff in the restaurant couldn't do enough for you. Overall we enjoyed the stay but not quite 4* in comparison to other hotels I have stayed in. 더 보기

The rooms are modern and well appointed, the hotel is new and clean and well run, the service is excellent and there is no shortage of people to assist in several different languages. reception staff are professional and helpful and generally very friendly as are the restaurant staff. the breakfast buffet is brilliant and well presented and you must […] have the dinner buffet, it represents the best value and is the best we have ever had from the point of view of freshness and variety and quality. the negatives were that the gym is not in full working order and was disappointing, the basin smelled because the drain was dirty and the shower leaks water in the bathroom, but these are minor thing that can be rectified. The hotel was not good for kids and had no free internet. In this day and age all hotels should have free internet and should understand that people travel with kids.

Positives: Great location, very helpful front desk staff, great breakfast buffet, clean rooms. Negatives: Very small room, minimal storage (drawers, closet space), no Wi-Fi, only 2 PCs available in lobby with long wait.

Stayed 3 nights in July with partner and 6 year old daughter. The hotel is ideal for exploring the South Bank area is it a short stroll from sights such as the Globe Theatre and Tate Modern. There's also plenty of trendy eateries around the hotel and the nearby London Bridge tube station. It's also only a few minutes walk over Millenium Bridge to St […] Pauls and the other areas of central London. The hotel itself is modern and appears to be clean and pretty well maintained - a leaking shower pipe in my en-suite was fixed while we were out before I even got to report it. The minibar is typically overpriced, but that's not unusual for hotel of this type in this location - tea/coffee is available in any case. The only two niggles over the room were that the TV had a limited channel selection (around 1/2 of which were foreign language, which appeared to be in line with the proportion of guests resident at the hotel) and that some channels seemed to be displaying an error message constantly. Having said that, if you're coming to London and spending all your time in your room watching soaps with so much culture and nightlife nearby, well shame on you!! The other niggle was the aircon. I think other reviewers have mentioned it seemed it a little underpowered. We had it turned to min temperature/max blower but you could barely feel a draught, never mind a cooling effect. At the time we were staying it was high 20s deg C the whole time and more effective aircon would have been appreciated! We didn't use the hotel restaurant other than for breakfasts, but these were the usual sort of fare you tend to get - cereals, fruit, pastries and a whole bunch of fried stuff...something for everyone! Quality of the food was as you would expect for a hotel at this price bracket but I have to say that the service was very good. Overall a good base for visiting the sites of central London, not particularly cheap but still reasonable value if you can get a deal online. 더 보기

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Novotel South - I was worried about fitting four people in our room, since I knew European hotel rooms don't typically come with two queen beds like American ones do - but our room had a double sized pull out couch that was set up when we arrived, and slept one adult and one child quite comfortably. The shower […] was hot with good pressure, the room was clean - I had no problems at all with my hotel. If I go back to London again, however, I think I will try to find a hotel in the Westminster area, since that seems to be where many of the major sites are. We didn't walk anywhere from our hotel, and although the Metro was very convenient, just a couple of minutes walk away, I always prefer to walk. 더 보기
