Good for the price. Has all the basics, but not the cleanest.

Service was ok. Good location for what I needed.

Very quiet and comfortable beds. hot shower. room was amble. If your not looking for amenities it's everything you want. Location is good close to most things you need. room was very clean.

This hotel is very dirty. The directions to get to the hotel were wrong on the Hotel.com web site were also wrong. I only had to stay at this place for 6hrs.

We chose this hotel because it was convenient and affordable however, I will pay more next time for a nicer...at least cleaner place! Excellent place to stay. Close to Airport. Very good shuttle service. Can't find anything negative to say about the place

If you are looking for an inexpensive place to sleep to catch a flight the next morning with a convenient 3 minute shuttle ride, this is the place to stay. If you're a typical guy that doesn't need all the nice hotel amenities and luxuries and can overlook a shoddy looking bathroom because you're just putting in your 8 hrs. of sleep, this will work […] and will save you money in the process. The dust in our room was so thick you could write your name on the desk. This was the hardest bed I have ever slept in. If you stay here, I suggest taking your pillow if you can. The ones there are very thin, lumpy and uncomfortable. The blanket on the bed looked like it was from the 70's. And it was in bad shape. It was a very nice hotel. My room was clean and the employees who were working the front desk were very helpful and nice. I want to thank them for a good three night stay.

Bed was firm, I slept well. Housekeeping was sloppy about cleaning the room. By second day, I had purchased a small bottle of cleaner and did my own bathroom cleaning. Breakfast choices were a bowl of cereal, an apple, toast or doughnut. cant beet the price clean rooms

Entering the room honestly reminded me of the horror movie "1408" which is weird because I stay at hotels more then 7x a month. I couldn't get enough wifi strength on my computer to connect, called the guy down stairs (sort of a portly Italian guy in his 30's or so) and he reset the router. Still no internet, Then he put me in a 2nd floor instead of […] a 4th floor. Really nice guy and VERY patient even though I was a bit rude because of the inconvience. Having stayed in H.J's before I was expecting a little better. The interior was not what I remembered as before. Sometimes finding a desk person was problematic because they were attending to other duties. If I was not from that area I would probably have canceled at the time. The problem overall was the ride to the airport. The van they used had a […] very thick odor of smoke to the point of having a bit of trouble breathing. Convenient to interstates and expo and Churchill Downs. Bed was amazingly comfortable; I usually have back pain after two nights of hotel beds, but not this time. The staff were helpful and friendly.

It's in a good location. Six Flags is down the street. But... the pillows sucked.

Tv did not work, hair dyer did not work, shower would barely put out water, milk each morning was setting out and was not is ice. Warm at best.

Nice rooms. Walking distance to fairgrounds/Cardinal stadium. Perfect for the money.

Hotel was ok, staff was nice, stayed there because of the location. In my opinion, over priced for the quality!!

This Howard Johnson Express was excellent for the price and great service! The staff was very friendly and went beyond to make our stay comfortable with prompt shuttle service to and from the airport. Would highly recommend.

I paid a very low rate for this room to find it very clean and the staff very friendly. I visit Louisville frequently on the weekends and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Everything was fine except there wasnt enough parking in the hotel parking lot. All the spaces were full and we had to park next door on a neighboring street.

This was a great location for our needs and the staff was friendly. Having breakfast available is also great. the only complaint I would mention is there are never enough towels! Why would a hotel need to know how many people are in your room if they will only give 2 towels and wash cloths for a family of 4? Not a big deal, We were able to get more […] . 더 보기

The hotel was very clean for the most part. There was a smokey smell on the 4th floor (that's because all the rooms were smoking even though we were told to we would get a non-smoking). The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was exceptional for the price paid, not many options but filling for sure. There was no microwave and/or mini […] refridgerator in the room, but were allowed to use the kitchen facilites. The flush of the toilet would sometimes not work. The location of the hotel was very convinent to the Expo center, about 5 mins walk to the south wing building C (location of the annual Basketball Hoopfest Tournament). Also it was near the highway, making travel very accessible. Overall the hotel is a great place to stay in if your going to be just sleeping there and spending most of your day outside. 더 보기

I was looking for a cheap room because I was just laying my head down at night and up early each morning. That is what I got... although they put me in a smoking floor (which they said was what Hotels.com booking was) and I couldn't move.. I managed to spray the room and survivie the smell. No one at the front desk to check us in. The hotel clerk was at the airport picking up guests. Exterior lights were off so the hotel was dark and with no clerk I did not feel secure. Our room was not very clean. There was an old pizza box on our dresser with a piece of stale pizza in it. Hotel room was small but clean. The managers were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is nothing to brag about but it's better than a lot I've had. Very close to the airport which makes it nice when traveling.

This hotel is cheap and close to the aiport with a free shuttle. If you are staying here for any other reason, you will be dissappointed. It is clean, but very dated. There are many other nicer hotels in the area. Stay there if you want "classy"

The location is excellent-very convenient to the Louisville Airport. The room seemed okay when we checked in, however the pillows were flat and the room had a dingy feel to it.

Adequate for the price. Front desk was often unstaffed; not available for info. Guests prepared the "complimentary" continental breakfast - no staff member was available. Guests made the coffee, set out serving utensils, condiments, cereals, etc.

This hotel is so convenient to the airport, you can park your car and get a ride to and from the airport. The staff is courteous and prompt and the room was clean.

This is an okay hotel if your in a pinch. The breakfast was horrible and two of the three rooms did not ever have hot water, even after it was asked to be fixed. It did have a good location to the Kentuck Expo Center if you were there for that it was within walking distance and there was a decient early discount on the room rate. one of our 4 rooms only had one towel.. the front desk gave us others, but we had to ask... then none of us had a hot bath.. not even warm there was no hot water.. desk clerk said it was because it was freezing the night before and the hotwater froze.. they are in for a long winter if this is a problem end of october!! get reall..

Ok, but not worth the price. Basic room. Bathroom functional, but needed updated - cracks in drywall, off color tile. Wfi did not work in room, but did work in hallway. Location is very convenient to airport, convention center, six flags, but nearest restaurants are over 1 mile away
