Hotel was nicely situated on the lake 10 mins walk from the main train station. Probably 20-30 mins to the city centre. Hotel staff are as to be expected for a 5 star property, very polite and helpful. The spa is pleasent with a pool, steam, sauna and spa bath. Treatments (expensive) are also available. There is a restaurant and cafe on the top floor […] with large glass windows with views across the lake. The only negative point I have is that the air con was very poor, despite having on the lowest setting the room was always hot at night. This hotel is about 15 minutes by foot from the main train station. The location on the lake is beautiful. Great for a walk or jog. The bar on the 9th floor is excellent, especially for a night cap. There are plenty of restaurants about two blocks from the hotel and the train is not too far either. The rooms are clean and very large. The shower and […] bath are huge and the bed is fantastic! Just a great hotel. Wonderful location, perfect for a business trip, and the 9th floor restaurant is fabulous.

We got a great deal for 3 nights at this 5 star hotel and it really is 5 star, a magnificent hotel. It is very close to the Hauptbahnhof so easy to walk to with a suitcase and is close to many of the main attractions of Hamburg. Highly recommended!

Stayed for long weekend in November, for Christmas Markets, etc. Hotel very conveniently located, walking distance from Rathaus, Hauptbahnhof, loads of good restaurants, etc - about 5 mins to central stn. Room very spacious and comfortable, and the shower excellent. Pool and spa were enjoyed every day, especially by our 3 y.o. son. Great location, modern and comfortable rooms, very polite and helpful staff... all in all, very good value for money. A lot of places to eat in the surrounding neighborhood. Center and attractions therein are within walking distance. Taxis queue up right in front of the hotel, very convenient. Will highly recommend.

We loved the location of this hotel. We were located right across the street from the beautiful lake, watching hundreds of sailboats sail across the lake daily. The hotel provides a free boat service to the more touristy harbor area, which we found to be pricey and not nearly as beautiful as the lake area. Around our hotel were hundreds of lovely sidewalk […] cafes, which we enjoyed thoroughly. The subway system was wonderful in Hamburg and the Central Station was within walking distance of the hotel, or we could take the free boat to the harbor area and catch the subway there - so essentially no walking, The rooms were very comfortable. The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. The rooms were very contemporary and the artwork beautiful. Check-in was a breeze and the staff was extremely helpful in finding the locations we wanted to visit. Our group would highly recommend this hotel with one exception...having booked several trips through Hotels.com, it was explained to us upon […] check-in, we had a voucher for a free breakfast buffet. Upon check-out the hotel wanted to charge us for the buffet. Even though the individual who checked us in was standing there, and it was explained she made the mistake, the hotel did not want to honor their information. No manager came to assist, we had to argue for over 30 minutes in order for them to reluctantly remove the charges. When checking-in, please be sure to have everything explained as to what is included and not included during your stay!!! A fantastic hotel! If you are so inclined, purchase the package with breakfast and you'll be amazed at the selection. I think they had 12 different types of preserves and jams! The only negative thing I can say about this hotel is the somewhat opaque glass panel alongside the shower and that is, it's not 100% opaque. This might not be a negative for […] most but, unfortunately, I was traveling with my 85 year old mother, not my husband. The good news is, the room is large enough that you don't see the person showering if you're watching tv. Again, this is a great hotel within a 15 minute walk to the main train station. 더 보기

The hotel was one of the nicest I have stayed at. It was well worth the price. It was in a nice location and the staff was the staff was helpful in every way possible.

This was our first trip to Hamburg and Le Royal Meridien really helped to make this a great experience. Eine Laute Party im Hotel machte nachts noch einen Umzug erforderlich, in einem Zimmer eines 5-Sterne Hotels sollte man nachts auch schlafen können- selbst das Hotelpersonal war über die lautstärke im Zimmer entsetzt.

Angenehm!!!!! Zimmer gross, nett eingerichtet und sauber. Fruestueck gut und reichhaltig.

Nach meiner Ansucht verdient dieses Hotel keine 5 Sterne mehr. Früstück zu teuer. Man kann in der Nähe mit zwei Personen recht günstig Frühstücken. Sauberkeit im Bad ließ zu wünschen übrig. Super lækkert hotel, tæt på shopping, hovedbanegård og Alsteren (den store sø midt i Hamborg). Virkelig venligt og hjælpsomt personale, og høj kvalitet på både værelse og resten af hotellets udseende. manglede kun en ting på værelset, og det var en større vask/bord til at sætte toiletartikler på! Vær opmærksom på at man IKKE må være iført badetøj […] i sauna og dampbad (nogle tager håndklæde om sig, andre gør ikke!) Hvis man går op på gaden bag hotellet er der fyldt med restauranter, cafeer, små butikker mm. Heroppe spiste vi (to pers.) morgenmad hver dag for ca. 10-15 euro i alt! Helt fint og rummeligt værelse mod gården (vi fik det i hjørnet, der vist var det største) med badekar, gratis vand, te + kaffe. Spa-område dog ret lille og fyldt med børn, måske pga det var i påskeferien, sikkert fint område for familier, men vi droppede det. Men bortset fra det, var det en fin oplevelse at opholde sig på hotellet. Og meget fin udsigt […] fra baren på øverste etage. Ladegerät für mein IPhone wurde mir durch eine abenteuerliche Kobatruktion von drei Steckern "gebastelt ", das Café in der 9. Etage ist eine Oase der Ruhe mit Blick auf die Alster.

Min kæreste og jeg tilbragte en total afslapningsweekend på Meridien i suite på 9. sal. Alt var super lækkert, og træningscenteret i stueetagen er virkelig lækkert. Morgenmaden er enormt dyr, men det er den jo på alle 5 stjernede hoteller. Generelt rigtig godt, vi kommer igen!

Vi bodde på detta hotell i november och hade en positiv upplevelse. Mycket trevlig och serviceinriktad personal som löste alla förfrågningar på bästa sätt. Rummet var rent och fint med fin utsikt över Alstersjön. Inredningsstilen känns lite daterad i stil men allt var fräscht och i bra skick. Frukosten på nionde våningen var god om än prissatt i överkant […] och eftersom det en parallellgata upp ligger ett mycket restaurangtätt område går det fint att hitta trevliga och billigare alternativ på morgonen om man så vill. 더 보기

Rigtig godt hotel i alt

Hotellet har svært store, komfortable rom, med bad utstyrt med både badekar og dusj. Vi hadde rom inn mot bakgården, som er grønn og pen med helleganger og trær. Dette gjorde at det var svært stille og fint om natten. Det er stor trafikk i gaten som vender ut mot Alstersjøen.

Frühstück zu teuer und durchschnittlich, nur Buffet war möglich Parkgarage extrem teuer, für das Autoparken werden nochmals 3 Euro zusätzlich genommen Bar viel zu klein und somit überfüllt Zimmer teilweise vom Design veraltet

Meget flot hotel, utrolig venligt personale, dejlig morgenbuffet (bestilt sammen med overnatning hjemmefra), hvor der er udsigt til søen. Boede på et af de mindre værelser ud mod gårdhaven, men det var rigtig fint alligevel. Beliggenheden er i top. Anbefalelsesværdigt.
