the bed sheet had blood on it and when we come out of our room it smelled like someone had smoked in the hallway in the morning

everything was perfect, except, I had purchased the 4 rooms from Hotels.com. I prepaid with Visa. 2 of those four rooms were meant for friends of ours. When they checked out they paid for their own 2 rooms without realizing that I had already paid Hotels.com for it. We only realized this after we had left. we come from Winnipeg and stay every time there is a room avaialble

Everything was great. Lounge was a nice way to relax. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was excellent and prices were very reasonable.

I found the room, bathroom nice and clean, and all the appliances worked (coffee maker and hairdryer, etc....). There was one thing that was bothersome, and that was the heating in the room. The service at the hotel was great and my husband and I found the hotel to be better than we were expecting. The only complaint that we both had was that the beds were not very comfortable. If you are looking for a really good hotel at a good price this is it!! I look forward to staying there again on our next weekend getaway.

We had stayed at this hotel several times before without any incident. However I can say that this was not one of those times.... The hotel has gone downhill and fast. The pool area is dirty and worn out. The thermostat didn't work! The cleanliness of the room was just in bad shape. The towels were dirty (hair on the washcloths). It was a game night […] so most of the places in town were booked or over priced but I would say stay somewhere else for your money. 더 보기

The hotel is within walking distance of great restaurants and bars in the GF exchange district, beautiful old buildings with some cool pubs and shops. The hotel pool was good, nice water temp. Room was clean and cozy. Would definitely stay there again.

Was little difficult to find as there was a lot of street construction in vicinity with some streets blocked.

The whole area was under construction, the air conditioner sounded like a jet landing in the room. House keeping did not clean our room the second day of the stay and the counter person was arguementive about it.

The day staff was lovely. I have celiacs and the restaurant was extremely helpful with options for my restricted diet, definitely get the Friday prime rib. We had trouble getting towels by the pool and the overnight fellow at the front desk was unhappy with his job to say the least. We werepleased with our stay.The staff was very friendly.Gave us directions to a very good restaurant.We were shuttled promptly to & from the airport fre of charge.We left our car parked for 10 days also free of charge. the staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean. The problem I had was that the first room had a broken heater the next room had a broken knob but with a lot of twisting and turving it worked but the heat was not controllable, it was on or off. I would recommend this hotel if your not too picky. It is an older hotel property. It's only maintained so-so, but the hotel staff & service was good. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The waiter/waitress in the bar/restaurant were great, they reconigized and always greeted me like I was repeat customer, although this was my first […] visit. The hotel was nice and neat. Fun things to do right in the hotel for kids, pool, putt putt golf, video arcade. Restaurant serves good tasting food. The only drawback was the bed.... it was horrible!!! It felt like a half deflated air mattress.

We stayed because we got a good rate and shuttle to the airport was included. Room was clean but older. Our TV did not work and was promptly moved to another room. This room had some upgrades. Walls are a little thin but overall it was a decent stay on a weeknight.

needs to be updated. ice in large chunks in front of hotel, very dangerous. TV outdated remote did not work properly. Went down to the bar, 2 bartenders there, sat for several minutes at the bar and no one paid any attention so we left.

The toilet didn't work, I had to fix it, also there was pronography on while me and my son which is 10 years old came across. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISCUSTED!

This hotel provided terrific accommodations at a very affordable price. The only detraction is that it is clearly a hotel where there is a lot of smoking and this is evident at all doorways and in the hallways. Otherwise this hotel was a pleasant surprise.

We were there with a seven year old,playing on the floor in the room is not a good idea carpets were dirty and he found garbage under the bed. Great pool and mini golf was fun. Internet was fair at best. No continental breakfast. Very strong smell of clorine in the hallways.

We always stay at the TownHouse. It is across the bridge and close to downtown Grand Forks and the river so nice to walk anytime. Also far enough away from the main drag which has all the malls and busy traffic. Nice hotel, room is clean and the restaurant is the best. The prime rib special on Friday is to die for and the prime rib sandwich is also […] fantastic. We stay here for the price, location and food. Families that stay here seem to have a good time as there is a pool and mini golf course for the kids. We like it here. 더 보기

Chose this hotel for it's downtown location and pet friendliness. This was 'the' place to have wedding receptions and such back in the 80s. I read a few reviews that said the hotel is outdated, but I found it to be quite nice. Maybe there's been a remodel since those comments. The room was clean and up to date with all ammenities. We didn't partake […] in the pool or mini golf area, but it looked quite inviting and a relaxing place to unwind. I noticed several patrons sitting in the patio area chatting or making phone calls during our stay. It's getting difficult to find a pet friendly hotel without breaking the bank. I found the $15 pet charge reasonable. The best part was that pet people aren't automatically stuck in smoking rooms (this is often the case). If you have an opportunity to go someplace else, take it. This hotel was dumpy and frumpy. The colors were dark, the walls dingy, and the pool water frigid. We would not book at this hotel again.

I was nervous because I had read reviews about the hotel's condition, but we were pleasantly surprised. It wasn't dirty or rundown or cockroachy. It was a nice, decent place and we even got it on sale. Beware though - the pool looks HORRIBLE when you're walking by, but it's actually not filthy, they just painted the walls of the pool a really unfortunate, […] dirty yellow. Sure, the place could use a "refresh" but it's still in good condition and I would be more than happy to stay there again. The mini-golf was a nice perk too. Details: upper level is pretty warm and humid. No AC in the halls, and in the room the AC works okay. In a hotel with high humidity you definitely shouldn't have all the walls wallpapered, but it still held up pretty well. Bathroom was simple but clean and spacious. Bed was a bit hard and lumpy, but not unsleepable - just not ideal. Couldn't find the ice machine, but we didn't ask the desk for help either. Check in staff was very friendly, cheerful and helpful with some local questions we had. Hotel is off North Washington, so not close to Columbia, but then, GF isn't huge so nothing's ever really that far! Plus you're right near downtown, Paradiso, Gramma Butterwick's and KMart. Great location for downtown GF events. The pool is small. The mini-golf course has only a few clubs and balls...which the staff doesn't keep a very good eye on, even though you are supposed to get from and return to the front desk. Dont' let the exterior fool you, it may need some updating, but the inside rooms looked newly remodeled and clean, my kids loved the pool area and the bonus was food was served in the pool area, so you could watch your kids swim and enjoy a meal!
